I got a call from this number. Who are these ppl?

He's back - Mr. Spencer is back to annoy me but his name had mysteriously changed to "Dominic" - he was "Douglas" back in June (see my previous post). Look out he's call back has been changed to 856-831-1863. The call back number now is in NJ (c'mon, we all know that they are using a VOiP connection - they are most likely calling from overseas - my guess would be INDIA)...What a bunch of SCAMMING EXTORTIONISTS !!!! His threats back in June never panned out -- I was waiting for the cops to pick me up but they never showed.. Do you think they will this time around??? NOT !!!!

I too got a call from the same number 786-515-9939. They say they r from financial crime division and threatning me that if i don't pay they would press charges against me in some kind of county court, i told them i didn't have to pay anyone, but when i said i am going to the police and the atorny. they stoped calling , please do some thing................

same call here, but they are using a different number....1-000-024-110.....irritating and persistent little hackers!!!!!!!!!!!

i received this call from the same guy...he calls himself Jason Hatch... and the guy with the accent is Benny...

They gave me a bogus fax number when i said i wanted to talk to their manager, and if they didnt let eme speak to him i wanted his personal fax.


They then contacted my sister for two days harrassing her...

finally i said, i want every fact they had about my account, the account number the name of the company, my personal information...which they had.

i called the company "i supposedly owed" they had no idea who these people were...


I asked them did michael sinclair (their manager) work their...come to find out that is a football player...

Then i called Benny and jason back. I told them internet fraud is punishable by law, they will be caught. Im taking the voicemails, and my sister as witness to the police. i told them im reporting them to the credit bureaus, police and to a lawyer and i will have a law suit on them so fast their head will spin...


i then proceeded to tell them,that they can be traced through this bogus number, their all over the internet as scams, and they will be in a federal prison.

I havent received a phone call since.

i am taking the steps now to have them put behind bars.. and to protect my information and my credit.

i suggest anyone who gets a call from 786 515 9939 call the police immediately.


the faster we come together as witnesses and tell our stories the faster these mad men can be put to justice.

I just received the same phone call.  I too have been having these phone calls for the past few years.  It it very distrubing and they need to be stopped.  

Thanks for posting and we need to try and get more information to get them arrest and stopped before someone gives them information and gets screwed.

Got the same call today at work: Same spill - charges has been filed against me as of 3 pm PST - but it was only 12 noon in CA. So I had a hunch it was not legit. So I told the guy, yes with a very thick accent to not call me on my work number, instead to give me a call back number + his name - "DOUGLAS SPENCER" -Classic. I left it at that, but lo and behold about 30 minutes later, "Mr. Spencer" called again and said why I haven't called back - my reply: I contacted my attorney who advised me to request all he is calling about in writing. He then you have to call back to tell me this, so I said I'm telling you NOW. He kept insisting that I need to call back - when I said NO he said he can keep calling me if I don't so I said.. BE MY GUEST.. Sure enough he did do as he said but I am the operator in our company so I can definitely do phoe tags, deal with hang-ups and all that good stuff. After about 6 tries, he STOPPED. We'll wait and see if the calls start up again...

Just got a call from a private number. The guy that called me gave me a name of "Bob Taylor" he has a very heavy accent, telling me that I have Criminal charges that are  being filed against me and that someone will be coming to arrest me. That this is for an unpaid pay day loan. Before he told me all that I got his call back number which is 786-515-9939. He said he was calling from Finiancial Crime Division for Internet Cash Advance.

I told him he cannot threaten me with arrest and that if this is legit he will need to send me something in writing, he tried to verify my address and I cut him off by saying that I have dealt with these types of calls for the past year and that I have talked to a lawyer and my police department and that I am to give no information or confirm anything with them. Once I said that the guy said ok thank you and hung up. I called the number back to see if it was valid and he answered but very low and with a simple "hello". I told him I had just spoken to him and he kept telling me to hold on and would put me on mute or something, anways he asked what I wanted and I said I needed his address. He said for what? I told him because I want to confirm that you are valid place of business. He said I didn't need this info and told me bye.

I just want to let everyone know don't fall for these types of calls. They are trying to get money out of you by threating you with arrest for a pay day loan that probably doesn't exist. It is true that I have been dealing with these types of calls for the past year. They are all men who call me with heavy accents but with simple american names like Keith, Rick, Bob, etc. They all give the same story of threating to file criminal charges against me. The catch to this is that they will not file charges if you pay money now. DO NOT give them any money or any info. Tell them they need to provide something in writing. I've learn to accept that these calls won't stop and I make it hard on them when they call me now. Here are other numbers they call from, look them up and you will see everyone else's stories about how they get harrassed. 954 374-7556, 904 239-3963, 954 607-4512, 343 729-0397. The number that I'm writing this message is a new number they have given me so that's why I'm listing this info under this number. Good luck everyone!
