yes i have been getting the very same man telling me they have a warrent out for my arrest and they are coming to my home to arrest me and they even have my address.

I also got a phone call from the same number 7865333031 ext. 658. He said his name was johnny lee. It was also about a loan. I was dumb and scared and paid 500. He is such a rip off. Do not trust this man somebody needs to stop him. He also had a Indian accent. I am filing a police report on him. Nobody trust this guy.

Crazy India guy called me today. He used the name Christopher Right. Said they had a warrent for my address and wanted to confirm my address cuz they wanted to send me the warrent. Then he said he was based out of Orange County. He wanted to collect a loan from back in 2009 and if I didn't want to go to jail, I would have to settle with them. When he called the first time, the # came up 000-000-0000. I thought it was a wierd # so didn't answer. He somehow was able to access my Emergency #'s on Verizon to call me. That was when I answered and he gave me all his crap. I told him to give me the # and I would call him back. He gave me the # but kept trying to taalk me out of calling him back so I just hung up on him. He called me back several times but I didn't answer. Ended up Googling the # and it ended up with tons of scams attached to it!!!

I have been being harassed by Jason Lee. He calls and calls and calls. At least 20 times a day. If not more. It is driving me insane. I was going out of my mind trying to figure out how I was going to find the money to pay the out of court fees. I was talking to my fiancee about it and he said to google it because there just was somehing off about it. And here I am reading all of your stories.  There were so many different versions of what was going on when I actually talked to them. I will be telling them to shove it where the sun don't shine next time they call. I asked for a copy of the files they had against me. Asked to see what the charges were that they had against me and  they said that for legal reasons the only thing they could send to me was a subpoena with a cop escort. Nothing else. Which turned on a MAJOR RED FLAG. In my opinion, if I am legaly responsible for whatever they think they have against me I should be legally able to see MY OWN paperwork and files. When I asked what company they were with they said they were with the legal department of Cash Advance. Bunch of lies. I am so mad right now. They also called from different numbers that had letters in it. Ot would show up on my phone like 12974c73829a185. I thought this was very strange. When I mentioned this to "Jason Lee" he immediately hung up and called me back on the nber 786-533-3031. This happened more than once

There are no charges, this is an illegal tactic used by the payday loan scammers.  Report these idiots to the FBI and FTC, LOL legal department of cash advance.   All they are trying to do is extort money from you.

My experience with these criminal do***ebags is different.

They've been calling/leaving messages for months and months asking for Thomas Bell. I am not Thomas Bell. Nor do I know a Thomas Bell. Wrong number. Which part of "WRONG NUMBER" don't you understand, Einstein? They won't accept that I am not the person they are trying to reach. Like, after this about year-long harassment, I would help them even if I did know the guy.

A guy calling himself "James White" keeps calling. Very heavy Indian accent. I can understand perhaps 60-70 % of what he says. Other than to shout down (listen, punk, you don't call me on my phone at my home and start telling me what to do!), or repeatedly say fawk you to every time he begins to speak, I have never spoken to him - since it's a wrong number and I'm not the person they are trying to reach. In the messages he claims he is calling from the Legal Department of Crime Prevention. He once said there were 3 charges against "me" and in a later message said there were 5. He's mentioned loans but never a dollar amount. He has threatened "me" with court action and has urged "me" to call either 786.533.3031 x 301 or 786.292.3065 x 301 to avoid that action. (When they call me the number is blocked.)

I recommend finding a very loud whistle or a very loud appliance or a very loud whatever - as long it can be held up the the phone - and using it every time they call. As soon as they begin to speak let them have it for a second or two. If he starts talking again give him another blast. He/They once called 15 times in an 8 minute span, about 10 of them in succession. Each time I blasted a duck call into his ear. And each time the call ended with him/they hanging up (they had multiple people calling on this occasion).

I finally realized that (since I'm not the person they believe me to be and therefore any info they have on Thomas Bell isn't applicable to me) for them to succeed in their shameful criminality they need me to talk to them, to communicate. Without my cooperation they are nowhere. So other than to say "hello" when I answer the phone, I refuse to speak to them, not even so much as a profanity-laced insult. Only the duck call. They are non-entities. Lowlifes. Dirtbags. "Since you have a wrong number there is no reason for this phone call to continue," is what they apparently can't comprehend. The joke is on them.

The duck call really has been effective. Tho they still call, the number of calls has diminished. And since I started with the quacker they have hung up every time without exception. Cowards!

For 3 weeks I have been  harrassed by these phone calls. they keep asking for a Gregory and I tell them there is no gregory and they call and call. finally I stopped answering and they left the phone number 786-533-3031 x130 from a Jason. I have filed complaints with the police, the FTC and still they call. I will have to change my phone number.  as I get no peace. Do not let them threaten you.

I received a call from 786-533-3031 ext 116. the gentleman calling had a foriegn accent.  The message stated they received complaints and wanted to resolve the issue.

The person's name was Calvin Cook w/a thick accent.  And he called my work number.  I have been harassed for the past few moths by phone numbers such as this one knowing it is about payday loans that I owe. They have constantly called my cell & my work numbers nonstop!  But I will NOT give in to them & give them money as I am looking for legal help.

I have been receiving calls from an UNKNOWN number..Looking for my husband said he was from the James Novak Law Office. We called Novak and he said it was a scam that no one uses his cell phone and that he had been receiving calls from people who was getting calls from these foreign men saying they was with his law office and not to fall for it that he didn't call anyone about such things and these men were looking for money about a debt and he didn't even deal with these issues. They never said what they wanted though just that my husbands SS number had been pulled and he could get into trouble and arrested if he didn't call back with his info to get it straighten out... So is there anything I can do?

I have been receiving calls for the pas 2 weeks from a Mr. Jason Lee, from ACS Legal Group, regarding a payday loan that i got "sometime" in November, he couldn't give a specific date of the loan nor the companys name of who issued the loan, he just said it was a "Mother Company" of over 1000, didnt make any sense, i checked my bank, for the amount of the loan, nothing, Mr. Lee also said that police officers were going to come to my work to serve me with papers of fraud, also he said they were going to garnish my wages for the amount (3240.00) after court costs, he said we could settle it out of court just needed to send him $ 325.00 amd sign a settlement letter, but i needed to do it TODAY, told him i would call him back, called my lawyer, he googled the number 786-533-3031, got all sorts of information, but bottom line the LAWYER said, they cannot garnish wages, cannot get arrested for not paying a loan, just to tell him i have contacted my lawyer and send me information in the mail, bueno bye...but i didnt pay for s*** (nothing) ....i didnt get nothing....for Mr. Jason Lee sounded Indian,

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I also recieved a call from this number 786-533-3031.  They called about 10 times in a row (my phone was on silent).  The message stated they were looking for PB Jackson (I don't know anyone by this name).  Anyway, they went on to state that they were from the Sheriff's office and that they had complaints about me and my credit card number.  I tried to call back to let them know that I am not PB but didn't get through.

I just go a call ,from 7865333031.martin left me message  saying that i have three criminal case toward me.so i called back the idiot guy ask for my number  i gave it to him but couldn't right it down.that got me suspicious that when i stumble on this page...thanks....

I received a  call from this man as well claiming his name is Mark Johnson,he also called my place of emplopyment.  I wish it was something we can do to stop these scam artists.;

Threatened with court action and "I will make you lose your job." The Indian accents of the individuals (John Jackson, John Johnson)was hard to interpret. Claimed to be from the Office of Crime Prevention. Claimed that I owed CashNet USA money. I contacted CashNet USA to inform them that the scam artists were using their company. The callers said they would never stop calling and yelled as well as used profanities.

I just got the same message  as the one above,  the message left on my phone was very hard to hear, i finally got through to them,  a person with an  strong accent, said he was looking for me, nothing made sense what he said and I am going to turn this over to the police/   they said they were from crime and prevention.

First I get a call last week from an Alex Johnson (heavy India accent)  and he claims to be with the Law Office of James Novak. After he called over 20 times in 2 days I called him back and proceeded to rip him a new one as I had done research and learned that it was a huge scam. I called him a do***e bag, told him to quit scamming innocent people etc...all he could come back with was "Oh really......oh really,....your a scammer." Then he told me he would make my life hell buy calling every minute. I said no I will make YOUR life hell by calling YOU every minute. He claimed his investigator would come to my house to arrest me so I told him that his investigator would be staring down the barrel of my gun and that no one was getting a dime from me!!  So I called my cell phone carrier and learned how to block unknown and restricted callers. The weekend was nice and peaceful from Mr. Alex Johnson. It gets better......I get to work today and find a message on my work phone...same exact guy only now he is Alan David with Adam's County Courthouse. OMG really!!?? Wow these people are such incredible do***e bags!! Please everyone out there DON'T FALL FOR IT NO MATTER HOW THREATENING THIS PEOPLE ARE. IT REALLY AND TRULY IS A SCAM!!

Received a call from 786-533-3031 x114, caller stated that their name was: Johnny (accent is foreign like Pakistan or East Indian). They left a message on my govt work  number that I need to call them immediately or suffer the consequences like being arrested. They should be the ones to get arrested for trying to scam people out of their hard owned money. Don't buy into these scammers! That is all they are is scammers and their number is a mobile number which means they could be anywhere. I called the number and the person answered the phone stating they would transfer me to the correct extension. When the "transfer" happened, the same person answered the phone. Such liars. I asked what company which they would not give me. I also asked  who were they trying to reach and they would not tell me. They asked me for my name which I told them if they called, they should already have the name of who they wanted to reach.  They put me on hold, supposedly and never came back to the phone. I am leaving it in the hands of my attorney to deal with them. As soon as possible you need to take as much information you have to the authorities and report them. These scam artist need to be shut down now.

Got as message same as below although I could hardly understand him - he left it on VM - the number though that showed on my caller ID is 214 838 9152 the 786 number is the number to call back as I am a primary suspect and they do not want to drag me to court.  Maybe pakistan and India should just finish the wars and it will all be over.

This man calls me at work ALL THE TIME!!!! He has used the name Mark, Danny smith, Jason lee and dep. mike I also have no debit but was a victim of Idenity theft. I just spoke with the local police to hopefully get some help about the calls.

A person by the name of Simon Wilson called my work from this number.  They left a message for me to call back.  When I tried to call back there was no answer.  That is what led me to look online to see what I could find out.

We can't blame the U.S. government.  They're not the ones doing the scamming.  Short of finding a way to block all bank accounts from debits from all companies, what could they do?  They need information to catch these people, and most of them are based off short which they can not control. Everyone is against the government regulating things, yet the moment something happens they blame the government.
