I was called by this number, too.  Left a message on my recorder a if they knew me by my first name...of course, our phone is listed by my first name, so go figure!

Caller asked if I liked "White Trash Parties".  I said what?   He said they are parties where white people really get f@#%ed up.  Then hung up.   I tried calling back but there was no answer.

they called me, i was'nt here my boyfriend answers, they call my name twice when my boyfriend said he spoke to him, he said oh i'm sorry i got the wrong number, well when i got back from the store i caught hell, about i am cheating, and my boyfriend got my cell phone and called it back to see if they'd talk and no answer, so he tried again and i said hello and they called me the wrong name but now they have my cell number also.

I traced this number down through BellSouth. I got through to a company called Paetec. Paetec owns the line that these SOB's are using.  I let them know what their customer was doing with their phone line. I was told that they (Paetec) would inform this company that they were not to call me again, and that if I received another call from this number, that they wanted to hear from me, and that they would be take actions against them in my behalf.

I answered the unknown caller 786-587-1021 id with this statment...

Ohla, he said, do you speak englise, I did not say anything, he changed to, do you speak espanol, I said, se, he hung up.

Looks like they are just compilling business lists to sell

Yep, sounds like a scam. They call, ask for your name and say they got the wrong number and hung up. Happened to my business line. I am sure they get the published numbers from the white and yellow pages. They probably sell lists to telemarketers for any live person numbers they identify. Do not pick up. They are jerks. When I call it back it goes blank, no response.

Called me by my first name and said he was Dan Edwards and that he might of got the wrong number and hung up.

This number called my home and said they were the local fire dept.

I get this call & the guy on it says "Karen, please pick up" - no other message left.

This number is calling daily for the last couple of days and just hanging up.  Hopefully someone can make them stop.

We receive at least one call per day (for the past month) from this number while we are out.  I've also tried calling back and it just rings.

Get a call daily from them, but we never call back.

Guy called asked for myt wife by name, when I said she was not home he said " it was a thank you call and he will call another time." I would like to know what company this is to file a formal complaint.

He called me and said from local police department, need some donation  $20 a month.

got a call from this number today 18 Dec 08 asking for me, individual could not pronouce my name and i do not give out my home number. Do not answer this call...this is not a legit call!

did a reverse phone number search on the phone number, after 2 calls listed on my home phone came up one on a monday and the next on friday.  came up registered as a cell phone out of miami fl carrier:  metro pc's.  didn't answer but that isn't stopping them from calling.  don't plan on answering.

They said they were the Troopers Association for Florida and are asking for donations Im in Jacksonville fl.

I got a call from this number too.  called me by my first name.  said they were from SC firemans assoc. or something like that.  asked "how you doing?  you doing alright?" then I hung up.

We are receiving calls from this number@ least 3 times a week. My husband answered and they asked to speak with me. When he asked them to identify themselves they don't & say they'll call back later. We've called the number back and it just rings. Now we don't even answer anymore when this number shows up on the Caller ID.

SO I RECIEVED A CALL ON MY PHONE ONLY SHOWING THE NUMBER 1021 AND IT RANDG LIKE 4 TIMES WHEN I ANSWERED IT THE CALL WAS LOST I TRIED TO CALL IT BACK AND IT SAID IM SORRY THIS NUMBER IS EITHER DISCONNECTED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE SO HOW DID THIS NUMBER EVEN CALL MY PHONE ITS KINDA FREAKING ME OUT

I was called by these people, and needed to call them back the very next morning, they say the number has been disconnected, I do not like this.
