Called repeatedly, caller ID shows "624". Told "Adam" that connection was bad and I needed a number to call back from a better phone. Gave me 786-600-1027. He called back in 5 mins and I started answering his calls as "Federal Trade Commission. Are you calling to file a complaint?". He hung up for some reason. LOL. We shall see if he calls back.

Got a call from "Payphone 585-243-9768.  Guy sounded like he was from India, said he was with Technical Support and they had been recieving reports from my windows computer that I was downloading viruses and malware.  He never asked my name, asked if my computer was turned on, I said no, (I lied) he asked me to turn it on.  I asked him "what company are your from?" and he said "Windows service center, Microsoft windows service center." I asked how he got my number.  He said "survey department in your area gave me your number."  I don't do surveys, and if it was a survey how was he recieving data from my 'puter? My cell phone rang then, so I handed it to a relative to answer while I told this indian guy I had to go answer the cell phone, i would have to call him back, what number could I call him back at? he gave 786-600-1027.  Since he never verified my name, my OS, or phone number, since caller id came up Payphone, and since he asked stupid questions he shoulda been able to answer by looking at his own keyboard, I hung up with him and went to the Better Business Bureau's website and looked up both numbers.  They have to record of either one, so I reported them to the  Do Not Call registry.  I will not be calling him back.

PLEASE BEWARE -- Got a call from this number this afternoon (after many, many previous calls that when I answered no one was there or responded).  Should have trusted my gut instinct and hung up, but the guy was SO believable that I got suckered in (something that RARELY happens).  They "supposedly" fixed all the error reports and warnings that were on my computer, but only after I purchased a service agreement for one year to the tune of $149.  Should have gone online while the guy was on the phone and checked it out before I agreed to giving the information (which they say they couldn't see on their end of things... yeah right).

Now I'm in conversation with my credit card company to put a stop-payment on the charges and be aware of any other fraudulent charges that may arise, spent the last two hours undoing everything they did to my computer (luckily I have a good security system in place that was able to uninstall all their crap) and do a system restore.  Definitely a SCAM.

These people just called my parents. They called me after they already allowed them on to the computer. Got them all hyped up same info as the other, said he was simon from pc support squad. I called the number while they were on the phone with him and first someone answered and just kept saying hello over and over like they couldn't hear me. I called a second time and then Simon answered. It was real fishy how that all went down. I used redial I know I got the number correct.

I told my parents to disconnect, it is a scam and never do this again.

My fear is they gave them the computer id and has has been on the computer remotely. Now we need to figure out if this is going to cause them any damage to computer or financially. They gave no financial info so we may have dodged a bullet. Who knows what info they got off the computer during the process. They said they would call him back and disconnected.

I join received a call from an unavailable number on caller ID.  The caller that had a very heavy Indian accent, stating he was from Microsoft's PC Squad and providing customer support.  They were receiving error messages from my Microsoft Windows 7 computer.and Microsoft wanted to help me ?fix these problems before they get worst.  I asked for his name and phone number should we be disconnected and he said John Williams at 786-600-1027.  I told him I would call him back but instead check this out online.  It's been about an hour and I just received another call. This time it they were PC Support for Microsoft I told him I as busy and hung up.

My husband received a call from these people and he told me that our computer was infected. They left a number for us to call back. When I did, they didn't answer the phone, but they immediately called back saying they were willing to help me.  When I asked them where they were located they said Florida and continued on saying they were ready to help with the computer. I asked how come they didn't have an 800 number but they just ignored me. Then, they put me on hold and passed the phone to someone else. When I started asking questions, they started laughing at me, so I hung up.  Definitely a SCAM!!! Don't give these people your information!

My mother was scammed by these people telling her to call 1-786-600-1027 . Please help us stop these folks from doing this again. I am sure that this number has been reported before and it should have been taken off and the users arrested. PLEASE have them arrested and taken care of. this needs to stop. They claimed to be Microsoft and told her that she was sending out Malware and she needed to buy their software through them. She did not know this was a scam. I came home from work and put stop payment on her account. I hope that you will do your job and have them arrested!

Relentless calls from this number. He told my wife he fixes Windows systems and that they were receiving error messages from us, our computer would crash if he didn't help us, blah, blah, blah, etc. same as the notes above. Called back and gave me the same spiel. "Mike Williams," he told us. Heavy accent, maybe Indian. Hard to understand his English. Said he was from Florida. Was using a Florida number.

I have been receiving calls from unavailable number and name on caller ID on numerous occasions daily. I got a number today and called back. It is a scam, but they are no longer using Microsoft, but rather saying Windows. He specifically said Windows and told me I needed to listen to him. Said he was calling from Florida.

The caller claimed to be from Microsoft and said they'd gotten error reports from my computer. The man wanted to let his "tecnical support technician" fix my computer for "free" but then I'd have to pay an annual fee to continue support. When I tried to ask questions the "tech" just kept on talking right through my questions (sounds suspiciously like a telemarketer?). When I asked for any type of verification they were in fact from Microsoft the man replied that since he'd gotten error reports from my computer that he must be from Microsoft. I know a scam when I hear it and I heard this one loud and clear.

Received a call from this number today saying they were Microsoft Technical Development and they have been receiving error messages from my computer and that my computre may crash.  The strange thing was my computer did crash 2 weeks ago.  He wanted me to logon to my computer and they would take over from there.  He told me they were from Miami Florida and gave me the name Shane Watson which was really funny because he didn't sound like a Shane Watson.  I asked him for my ticket number when I called back and he even gave me one which was 00159.

Received call today from the "Technical Maintenance Dept" telling me that my computer was sending them error reports. Of course the person was an ESL (or third or fourth) and he asked if I was near my computer. Told him no and would need to call him back. Was able to get the above number and then hung up as he repedidly asked me for my number. This is a scam and they will get control of your computer and install trojans and spyware and steal your info.

A scam call.  You are told that your computer is putting out erroneous signals and wants to charge  you to solve the problem.  apparently "needs" you to reveal passwords and access info in the process.
