Wise indeed.  Using a 40 year old address.  Now, I know why they are calling this number.  A former resident has numerous addresses on public record, owes companies money, and we get the calls.  But as alluded to, they may just be seeking current account information and not collect any old debt, unless they just make one up or see something they can add interest onto.  So glad for these postings.  Thanks to Linda, you and everyone.

They have been calling for years asking for someone else

I received a call from this number for a few months in a row.  They have been looking for my ex-husband's ex-wife.  I finally called the number back to inform them I was not who they were looking for and she had never lived in my house or had this telephone number.  The "man" on the line, proceeded to tell me that he had no reason to believe me and knew that I was who he was looking for.  He stated I had confirmed address & ssn back in October.  This was obviously not true.  He continued to call me by the person's name he was looking for and refused to give me a supervisor. After the call, I found out that previously he had confronted my 10 year old son by calling her this other person's name and when my son said "i'm a boy", he responded with "oh, so now you are a boy!".  I am furious and hope a one day get a call from this number again....charges will be pursued!

I have been getting daily calls from Pinnacle for months now.  I do not answer them or call back.  I did answer once and some foreign accented man asked for a woman's first name that was not mine but last name that was the same.  I told him he had the wrong number and no one here by that name and to stop calling.  Of course they have not.  I have reported these calls to a law firm that handle another similar issue for me to try to get them to cease.  I first reported these type of calls to the Consumer Advocacy Group and they referred me to the law firm.  There has been no cost to me to have them handle these issues.  Unfortunately, the process takes a long time to finally get the calls to cease.  They end up filing against the offending company thru the courts.  But even though it takes a long time...they do get it done.   My advice is to get caller ID if you do not have it, do not answer unidentified numbers; go on line and check the number to see who it belongs to; and keep a record of when they call.  They use many different numbers to call from.  Pinnacle, PennCredit and MCM are the most recent offenders.   The scary thing is how they get the information to contact you.  One even went as far as to call my ex-husband who I divorced in 1981 on his private home and cell number. NOW that is scary invasion of private info.

Linda, you are a most wise lady. It is a well known fact that the company that uses this phone number reads these postings. Hopefully, they will see your comments about an answering machine and take heed, or not get the majority of their calls returned.

Yes it's Pinnacle Financial, which I have never had dealings with. They used my maiden name, and a 30 yr. old address. I owe no creditors and have no credit cards, so they have been reported to the Do Not Call Registry.

The number called me, had my maiden name and a place I lived 30 yrs. ago. I asked how they got my number considering it's a BIG long shot and the girl was rude said it didn't matter where she got it. I was pissed. She was from Pinnacle financial group

This number keeps calling my cell phone line all day long leaves no message and when you return the call they do not identify themselves they just answer the phone with can I help you

Keeps calling asking for "Name." Calls over 20 times a day, from 6am to 2am. I do not know "Name." Leave me alone.

I don't understand all these people who say they get calls with no messages left, but won't call back to find out who it is--and get frustrated and want to block the number. All you have to do is call back and ask who they are. It's Pinnacle Financial...it means you owe someone money. I'm swimming in debt these days and calling them back is how I found out who it was. And then promplty asked them for a toll-free number to call back or have them call me on.

Scum - Pinnacle Financial collecting for GE Money

he has called our house , same time every day, when I answer, nothing.  i called him back today, answers "Donald" i left him a message and then hit some numbers and got the help desk for  Bates College??

Call and no message, when I do answer no one answers!  I'm sick of this!!!

Get call at least once a day fro 7866298163.  Don't know who they are.  Never leave message.  Don't call people back if there isn't a proper message.

If I find out who, charges will be filed for harassment. I wish I could reach through the phone and choke the person on the other side. If I knew who it was, they would be left in an alley for dead.

I recieve at least one call every other day from this number and they never leave a voice mail or respond if I answer it.  If anyone figures out how to block numbers like this, please post.
