I got a call from this number and I answered.... They knew my name.... Surprisingly, then again it's a landline business phone number here with my name on it- well anyways they called saying that someone was trying to hack Into my computer and they needed me to get in front of my computer- I told them I didn't have internet and they insisted I try- yeah right buddy! No way Jose I know what your trying to do! Damn hackers! Beware of these people!

this number called my home it said they were skype could not understand them to much static told they i had no time to talk to them and hung up the phone

I blocked this caller on my Iphone.
Now I'm getting multiple calls per day from " No ID Caller "
I spoke to this vermin a few days ago. Nasty man with Indian Accent. Insisting that someone from foreign country is trying to access my Computer. I hung up immediately.
I was advised to report this to Federal Trade Commission.

Seems that my phone number is now a part of this uninvited idiots daily routine. Caller ID is SKYPE and even though I am registered on the DO NOT CALL registry it doesn't seem to stop this party. The phone is here for my use and a means of contact from friends all others are considered an invasion of my privacy but I can not afford to consult with an attorney to find out about a class action suit. My phone does not have a blocking option and the $4 extra month paid to Verizon doesn't stop telemarketers.....

Got same call and they were telling me that My computer was hacked too. I got asking him questions about what was my ip address, what was the numbers for my team viewer + log me in,  what was my router's IP Address? After leading him on, I finally told him that I am an IT Guy and work on the computers. He then hung up on me,

SOME IDIOT CALLS OUT MY NAME ON PHONE - REPORT TO LOCAL FBI CHICAGO -  SCAMS

I received a call from this number today while I was at work. They stated they were calling from a PC copy & they were trying to help me with my PC issues. I knew this was a scam so I played along I asked them what company were they from and he named a PC company in California and begin to tell me that my PC (which I was working on just fine). Was have error messages and he sssooo wanted to help me with it. I chuckled and said really I work for a PC copy and do the work on the PC?s so I would know if something was wrong because I would be the one to fix it. He then hung up.

This is an ongoing scam that is going on. They try to take control of your p.c. Report them.

I got a call from this number and the ID said Skype, I knew it was a weird call so I answered with my old business name and -"how can I help you".  I always get nothing on the other end and they stop calling.

I received many calls from 786-664-7971, I don't whos is calling me, It is an unknown call.... It bother me so much.

They have been ringing my cell phone every day for over a month. I can show you the incoming calls  EVERY SINGLE DAY MORE THAN ONCE A DAY i txt'd STOP to them no reply I called them back number temporarily out. This is ridiculous... Please help

OK - so I just got one of these calls - seemed to be the same script.  I wonder why after over a year, someone hasn't investigated them.

I continue to get calls from 786- 664- 7971. He claims my computer is infected with spyware and malware. I asked him several times to take me off his calling list and he still continues to cal. He has a foreign accent and will not take do not call as an answer. He needs to stop bothering innocent people.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

STOP CALLING

Just got this call.  Luckily didn't answer but I did google the number.  It says that it is a scam and to not answer.

They are saying they are with Microsoft tech support and they notice a problem with my Windows. I asked which operating system am I using and he tried saying with any of them. I said if you know thete is a problem with mine then you should be able to tell me. Told him I am not falling for his BS scam,

This number calls and clearly they are foreigners with very bad connection.  Today they said they wanted to let me know someone was trying to hack into my computer and they wanted my personal information so they could run a program to stop the hacking. I told them it was highly unlikely because I do not have a computer.  He then went on to say do you have any windows devices and I said the only window device was my phone that I wanted off his call list and that i would report any further attempts at his scam. He hung up

I got a phone call from the number listed above twice.  The person on the other side said that he was from Microsoft and they have been receiving warning signals from my computer.  He asked me to go to my computer and turn it on and he will walk me thru the steps to cancel the warnings. So I asked him "which computer is it affecting?".....he said "I have one server and it is connected to all my computers in my house".... I told him "how many computers do I have in my house?"....he said "because I have one server, all my computers are running on the same one".....I told him "You do not know what you are talking about...I have more than one server in my house and you still cannot tell me how many computers I have in my house therefore this is a scan....you are trying to get me to turn on my computer so that you can put a virus on my computer and get my information....do not ever call me back again because if you do I will notify the FBI and I will notify my local police department of this call and have them record the conversation next time"....after that I just hung up the phone.  Remember that Microsoft does not call your house to do such actions.  This is a SCAN and DO NOT do what they ask.

they called me too, answered , they were saying I have errors on my computer. and wanted to get into, it I told them I didn't and to take my number off their list and if they don't I would turn them in.

I spoke with this man he said his name was Kevin Miller. He said he was calling from America Computer Service and that i was having some problems with window.I told him my computer was stolen from my house 3 years ago. He asked me if i have another one i said no. He said he can tell my comp is in used and it shows its in my name. I told him thats correct that im going to make a police report so they can run a trace and he said that he is going to report it and that i should get a phone call in about a week . I was continuing to ask questions and he wasnt answering it. Is this a scam?

This number keeps calling. Sick of it! Reading all these post makes me understand why.
