The email contained my social and other personal information as well but once I read the grammar I know it was a scam.

I received an email from a supposed lawyer named Ryan Cooper from the US Attorney General's office, that says I was being sued for fraudulent applications on payday loans. He wanted to represent me for a large fee. He said the a Nicole Denice applied for loans in my name. I was responsible for her crime. What tripped them is one bit of information which I no longer use. I know the loan companies that scammed me are behind this intimidation. They tried the same thing using the California Attorney General's office, which I then reported to the CA Attorney General's office. They are trying to intimidate me. I reported to the DOJ I2C complaint site

I received a call from this number stating that I was being sued buy Cash Advanced USA and that I may go to jail and pay a fine of $8-10,000! I hung up on this idiot and told him NOT to call me back he then called me back 5 times within 4 minutes but every time the number would show on my phone I'd press end....Looks like to me we can press charges on these idiots for harassing phone calls.
