I JUST GOT A CALL FROM 786-429-4313 YESTERDAY SAYING THAT IF I DIDN'T CALL BACK BY END OF BUSINESS DAY THAT THEY WOULD PROCEED WITH COURT ON MON?? I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.  THE ONLY REASON THEY WOULD HAVE MY SOCIAL AND NAME IS BECAUSE I APPLIED FOR A PAYDAY LOAN ONLINE AND IT ASKS FOR THAT INFO.  I THINK THIS IS A SCAM BUT IT'S SCARY TO HAVE SOMEONE SAY THEY ARE GOING TO COURT IF YOU DON'T CALL BACK.  I WISH THERE WAS SOME WAY THEY COULD STOP THESE MALICIOUS PEOPLE!!!

have been recieving calls from a man with a thick indian acsent(Joseph White) very damanding on giving him my personal info on ss# and home address.  He said that they are filling a lawsuit against me, my employer and references if we don't resolve this matter...but he wont tell me what the issue is just wants my ss# and then he tells me that he has the number anyway.  I called the sherifs office and they said not to answer the calls just to let them leave a message for harasment charges. but if they are out of the country theres not much they can do about it.E-mail aadil.hussain19@yahoo.com

Message on my phone from 786-786. Some guy with a very very thick Indian accent, I could barely understand him. He said something about my social security, something under investigation, and to call him back @2817630495 immediately. He sounded angry.

i had the same call 2 days in a row same info  threating with sherrifs  dept and if i didnt contact or a lawyer call also ss is being investicated very thick accect as well and very demanding  any ideas please post  thanks

It's a scam.  This guy called me and had my bank account information.  He says I owe for a payday loan I never received.  He threatened to send the sheriff's department to my house and contact my employer if I don't cooperate.  I have contacted my bank and will be closing my checking account.  It is a man with a very heavy Indian accent who says his name is Richard Johnson.  The manager at my bank was aware of this scam.  Apparently they have been busy.

this is a scam artist. there plan is to call you get you woried than call you back later and offer to let you settle the clame by sending money by western union DO NOT SEND MONEY you do not actuly owe money. i called them on it and they got pised and hung up i continued to call them anouther 15 times each time just getting them madder and madder till the finely started yelling aboiut screwing my mother. i have turned this phone number in to the FBI. if you get a call frome this number DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY AND TURN IT OVER TO THE FBI. do not give them any information about yourself.  ohhhh and the also have difrent numbers. one thing to know is that if this was ligit you wouldnt be getting notified by phone this kind of leagle matter would be sent to you in the mail.

He told me that my mother was committing fraud and using my social security number and that I needed to have her call him immediately. He gave me a number to have her call him at 281-763-0495...I just called my mother. She said that she had gotten the same call but that she hung up on him and now he won't stop calling her. How do we go about reporting this?

Take them on. I did.  Block your number and call back. Tell them your name is John Jordan (or something). They can't track the phone number to your name so they will accuse you of lying about your name. So I demanded his birth name and address he was calling from. He gave me a street address and zip code claiming he was in Houston but the zip code is from 500 miles away. Demand to know where he is physically located as you have a sherriff who needs to serve arrest papers on him. He will stick with his story, but keep demanding his real name and truthful address  Demand to know the lawyers name that he is using as he can't call you without working for a licensed lawyer in the state. No matter what he says, tell him he is lying. Tell him he is breaking both state and federal laws and that you are assisting with a special task force pursuing these illegal extortion rackets. Demand to know why he is purposely lying to you. Demand to know his social security number. He will resist but then tell him that he has yours so it is only fair for you to have his. I accused him of being in the country illegally and said I was bringing INS officers to deport him as well as arrest him. He finally told me I was trying to waste his time. I said I wasn't but that I understood that India to US phone rates get expensive.

I forgot to mention that I said to "Dave Anderson" that i could save him some time in terms of reporting me to my employer and family as my brother works for the FBI and that I had already alerted the authorities and my employer regarding my impending fraudulent arrest being handled by the American Legal Services. In closing, I encouraged them to come and arrest me as it would save the American Tax Payer the cost of trying to figure out which flop house he was calling from when the sheriff comes to arrest him.

Maybe they did trace the call as I have had only one call since then.

But their messages are good for a laugh once you realize they are a scam and full of pooperia.

on march the 3 2011 at 12:52pm my mother got a phone call from a mr. neil johnson who he said  he was with amercian law office in regards to my husband regarding a legal paper that my husband gave my mother as a reference for him. he wanted my mother to tell my husband to call him at number 786-1128-8082.

This guy (with a heavy middle eastern accent) calls 5-10 times a day and says the same thing all of your posts have been saying! How do I get him to stop?

Ugg, i get this stupid guy calling me at work all the time. He has a heavy accent and i cant understand a word he says!! I dont have the kind of job that allows me to take personal calls, and i tried to tell him this but he yells at me for interrupting him. Not to mention there are several people at my work who have the same name as myself who also take my phone calls. Its really embarrassing as hell!!

I have received 40+ calls from a 786786. They call the hospital were I work they call my cell threatening me. They've called my family. How do I get them to stop. They say I'm under investigation if I don't pay some loan back they will have me fired. It's very annoying and they have heavy accents. Who can I report this to?

I keep getting a call from this 786-786 number saying that I'm under SS investigation and that me and my lawyer needs to call "Will Hill, from Dispute Resolution Center at 786-275-5073."  My dad also got the same call today.  What do I do?
