This is the latest in a series of names used as cover for aqua care USA,,,owned by mike pagano,,,operating out of Grimes Iowa.  Telemarketers are told to tell several blatant lies and to disregard do not call requests.  They are under insane levels of pressure and stress.  The calls are routed thru a service in Miami and the telemarkeyers have no power or ability to remove your name.

Okay, mine just  started.  The first lady that called said she was from 'American Bath & Shower', the next call was from 'American Safety Bath & Shower'.  Something needs to get done about these people.

It's been 6 weeks since the last call I had from American Bath and Showers (yes, she left out the word SAFETY this time) and that's a record. It's been at least once a week for the last couple of years and in January I got 3 calls in 6 days from these jokers. This time instead of referencing Re-Bath in the sales pitch as they had done in the past, she said they were the same folks that Pat Boone does the commercial for (I can't find anything confirming THAT). I listened to her complete pitch, asked her to confirm her name, asked her for the name of the local rep (which she happily supplied), let her really push the product and the appointment she was wanting to make for the rep, then told her I was apprehensive about letting someone into my home to which she replied that they would show me ID and I didn't actually have to let them in, but she refused to give me a phone number to check them out.....THEN I told her that I had already asked her company repeatedly to stop calling me and told her I had received at least 100 calls since I first requested they stop. The old hag just proceeded to argue with me, telling me they had never called me, blah, blah, blah......As soon as I said "Well, whatever. I'm still reporting you to the FCC" she hung up on me.....Maybe they'll give me another 6 weeks of peace, but I'm not counting on it.

Did they ever show up??? My mother has scheduled an appt and now regrets it, but has no way to cancel. Wondering what actually happens when they show up?

This lady said she was setting up appointments for American Bath and Shower. I countered I am on federal DO NOT CALL registry. She said I have to sign up every 60 days to stay on it. She became abusive and hung up. I'm a senior, so she may have gotten my name from the public list used by all those insurance companies that try to sell supplemental Medicare insurance. Now she thinks she can sell me a walk-in bath tub? She needs to stick her head in one--full.

My elderly mother is on the federal Do Not Call registry  and these same bathtub telemarketers have been harassing her for years. She's mobility impaired, so it takes a great deal of effort for her to answer these nonstop intrusions, despite her repeated requests to be removed from their marketing list.

Why in heaven's name would she or anyone else in his or her right mind patronize a company which has such little regard for their well-being & which flouts the law this brazenly? They are self-evidently a crooked business which gets rich by scamming ( and torturing!) the elderly.

And as for the FCC, does anybody even put in an honest day's work there anymore? What a waste of time for citizens to report these calls. The criminals all now know there is absolutely no enforcement of the law at the federal level anymore.

Called to set up an appointment to estimate cost for bath and shower.  Made an appointment and want to see what happens.  Not going to fall for a scam however.

I've been getting these calls repeatedly for a few weeks.....never answer, and they never leave a message.....

Caller ID just said "Florida".  Never answer those with a generic Caller ID label.  No VM.

i received a call from 786-801-8533 - the caller ID CELL PHONE FL - I do not answer calls that I don't know and they did not leave a message.

I got a call from this number at 12:42 this afternoon. The man on the other end said his name was Anthony and that he was calling from American Baths and Showers, a company that installs walk-in bath tubs and showers. He asked if it would be alright for a representative to come by my home at either 12:00 PM or 6:00 PM to show me some of the products they sell.  I lied to him and told him I was renting the place I live and I also did not feel comfortable having some total stranger come to my house.  I think this is a scam, honestly.  I already got one call from these people a few weeks ago and told them the same thing about renting.  I hope they stop calling.  We are on on the do not call list.

Did not pick up because there is no name and they left no msg.  I don't recognize the number and if they need to reach me then they should leave a msg.  Thanks for posting now I know not to pick up.

you "qualify" for everything from Viagra to Wheelchairs to Walk in Baths...   Wonder who really gives them the names ?
I know who does...    The Dr you visit, the IRS, the SS# association, and especially AARP. ( they get kickbacks you know).
The pitch is always the same " Little or no cost to you "..   Yeah sure !!!!!  My info is private, and if I could, I would sue the pants off of whoever is giving it out, BUT there is no way to know for sure. So until then, I'll just string em along, then tell em NOPE NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE AND HANG UP ! Waste their time - it really jerks their chain!  Ha Ha

You are right - A LOT OF CALLS THIS WEEK.  After Christmas, it slowed down quite a bit but this week was terrible for the spam calls.  I have caller ID and never pick up unless I know who it is.  But be careful, the spammers now send you caller ID numbers with your own area code so you will think you know the person calling.

1/31/2014 late afternoon. Received call from this number. I was on another call at the time, but this number kept beeping in as in-coming call. I did not take the call.  

Rang landline.  Picked up & hung up.   Busy week--been bombarded on cell & landline.

I also got a call from this number at 2:42pm 1/31/14. I was not home but the machine picked up and all I got was some low life piece of s*** laughing.

They called I said nothing, I didn't recognize the wireless caller number.

People identifying themselves as American Safety Bath and Showers have been calling me at least once a week for over 2 years. I've asked them not to call and informed them I'm on the do not call list and they informed me they were not considered telemarketers because all they were doing was offering to set up appointments for someone to drop off a video and answer questions. I've had 3 calls from them in the last 6 days. Getting a phone call a week from these jerks doesn't sound that bad until you take into consideration this had been going on for over 2 years. That's over 100 unsolicited phone calls from what appears to be the same people!

he said mrs. my name and I said no..i asked who was calling and he said in a ugly voice what's it to you.and hung up...

Private investigator company using a pretext to check and see if a person is home.  Most likely you have a lawsuit or workers comp case or someone is trying to collect.  

They claimed to be from American Bath & Tub When I told them to quit calling and I am on the do not call list and to add me to their do not call list he refused saying "wew do not have a do not call list and he would call again. From their threats were made.

Another fricking telemarketer, added to the Call Block list.  I sure am glad that the National and Texas DO NOT CALL lists help us out so much.  (NOT!)

Just got a call from this outfit but did not answer the phone.  Went to the answering machine but they left no message.  We're on do not call list but somehow it's not working.  Getting too many of these cray calls.

Got call today at dinner hour did not answer.On the do not call list,what good that does.To solve the telemarked calls is to eliminate my land line!!GOOD-BYE AT&T!!! I have a cell phone that know one calls...

I got a call from this number this afternoon at 12:33.  The caller ID read cell phone Florida.  When I answered, the woman on the other end said she was calling from American Bath and Shower, some company that installs walk-in bathtubs and shower stalls.  She said a representative would be in my area at 11:00 on Monday morning and wanted to know if he could come by and show me the products they supposedly sell.  I lied and told the woman I lived at a rental property and could not make such changes to the house.  She said she will add my number to the list of numbers to never call again.
