I just got charged $5.10 from Witifile on 3/13/2012. Just got off the phone cancelling that card, that  I used for everything. The bank rep called the number on conference and we heard the message from a heavy Chinese accented English speaking female voice indicating that they do not have phone service at this time. I filed a claim first, then the Bank refunded my money and closed the account.
It's a B1%(H , I used that one account for all kinds of stuff. I can transfer the balance to another account in case they try to hit me again for a larger amount. I had $1107.00 transferred to Israel from an account back in 2007, filed a claim, got the money back and closed that account as well. Check your balance EVERYDAY! Jayne

I just got charged $5.10 from Witifile.com on my debit card on 2/20/2012 they left the same phone number and the recording said the call could not be completed so its a fake number

I know I wouldn't  wait long enough for them to credit my account ... that is just giving them the opportunity to commit fraud again?? Not worth the $5.10 to me nor the hassle...
I don;t understand why people have to be so negative out there.... Can't people make an honest living?
We can't even look for a job anymore without worrying about being scammed...
I feel bad for our children . if it is like this now.. what is the next generation going to be like? I agree with Nicole... It is irritating! and why hasn't anyone done anything yet? If someone robbed a store physically they would have been caught, but since its internet.. what? it is different??? I just don't get it....

I JUST got a charge of $5.10 as well today!! (2/17/12) and NOT happy about it. With all these posts I don't understand why these people haven't been caught yet? I can't imagine people that haven't even noticed or how many other people they are going to do this to!!! AUGH it irritates me to the fullest!!!!!!!

i got a charge for 3.70 on my debit card on 01/24/2012 and got the run around when i called the number that was on my statement. when i calle i got a lady voice stating the number is not in service and said something about a website. i wish i knew how they got my card number.

The same fraudulent charge by Witifile.com to one of my accounts occurred back on November 11th.  For details, I suggest anyone posting here, to also visit the complaintwire.org website.  You will find quite few other complaints, including my own, there.  Ripoffreport.com also has at least one complaint as well regarding witifile.com.

Just FYI...witifile.com is an internet-based entity apparently engaged in the business of on-line data storage & retrieval.  Their posted phone number on the site is NOT a working number, nor do they provide a physical mailing address or P.O. box either.

As I recommended to posters at complaintwire.org...I strongly urge victims of this company's fraudulent activities to file a formal complaint (on-line or by mail) with the Federal Trade Commission, ic3.gov (Federal government cyber crimes), & your local law enforcement.

My own local law enforcement is actively investigating this company to ascertain its whereabouts.  I also urge anyone victimized by this entity to send an email to:  support@witifile.com, and demand they refund the fraudulent charge to your account.  I did so and was fortunate enough to get the charge reversed.

I too got a $5.10 charge on my Visa from WITIFILE.CO on 11/03, with the phone number of 786-837-6353.  On the phone now with BOA Fraud Department to discuss and have a new card issue due to an upcoming trip.  I will have a new card tomorrow.

I saw the charge of $3.70 on my account last night.  Thank goodness I signed up for mobile texting from my bank which is the reason why I was aware of the charge.  I dont know how these people got my info but I would love to find out.  This is ridiculous and disturbing to know that you basically cannot use your credit card/debit card anywhere.  What is safe anymore?

Same, only I tried to call their stupid fake number and got nothing. I put a stop to my card immediately. Who do these a***oles think they are?
What also pisses me off is that I have NO idea how this even happened. I've paid my bills online the same way for years, so was it through my computer? Phone? Some a***ace on the street?
Who knows!?

I got this charge for $3.70 on MY debit card on 11/3/2011 and got the same run-around message when I called as the person above, which was again a heavily accented and garbled (hard to hear) message about going to a website. My bank said it had something to do with computer equipment.  I'm stopping payment to this company and wish I knew how to prosecute these people further, because if they are doing this to a few who notice their statements they are probably getting away with much more and could ruin people's credit rating.

Charge appeared on my debit account as 'witifile.co'.  My bank suggested I call the phone number to see what the $3 charge was about.  I did, and got a *heavily* accented voice saying they currently didn't have phone service established, and please visit their website...

Needless to say, I have a new debit card on the way.  What bothers me is where my debit card number could have been compromised.  I think I know, as my roommate had some hinky charges on her debit as well, and there's only one website we've both shopped in the past few months.  If anyone else has had odd charges after buying merchandise from LOLmart (the 'I can haz cheezburger' store), please leave a comment here.
