Two calls from this number; 1st one hung up.  a week later, another call, same name on Caller ID = D Boyer.  Man asked for someone who does not live at this address. When I told him no one by that name lived here, he proceeded to say was calling on behalf of the Florida State Troopers Association. I declined to speak with him and hung up.

Received call today, July 26,200 from 786-866-2542.  Caller ID display read "Incoming Call".  Immediatedly returned the call and received this annamaited voice message saying, "The number you have dialed has been temporaily disconnected, PUAMI20."

Please stop calling me!

I just received a call from this number.  When I said hello there was no response, finally after a short moment the phone hung up/disconnected.  I reported this number as well as 786-866-2530 to the do not call registry as a complaint.

i recieved a call from the florida association of state troopers, and they were nothing but the upmost nicest heart warming people i have ever talked to. if they do hang up on somebody or somethig other then answer you when you answer the phone it was probably a mistake, or an accident. i PROMISE YOU PEOPLE THERE NOT DOING IT ON PURPOSE. give them some slack there just doing there job and its to help benefit everyone, by helping to keep our roads and comunitys a little more safer then what they are. if u answer the phone and theres nobody there.... chill out!!!! its not the end of the world.

THese may be coming from a fundraising organization but...........I don't answer these calls. I let answering machine answer. They never leave a message which arouses my concerns. Having had a police officer in the family I do not donate to any fundraising groups who say they support police and etc. My relative died on duty and there was no money, support or anything from any of these organizations!!!

I just reported this number and 786-866-2530 to the do not call registry as a complaint.

This is the second time I have received a call from this number.  The first time did not give a name on caller id, but this second time it came up as D Boyer.  When you call it back, you get a recording stating that the phone is disconnected.  Oh really, then why are we getting the calls.  You say hello and nothing, finally it hangs up.  It could be a soliciter that has a system that for some reason catches the calls after they are dialed against a do not call list.

I believe it is Florida Association of State Troopers (FAST). They also use 1-786-866-2525, 1-786-876-2529, 1-786-876-5407, 1-786-876-2533, 1-786-5400, 1-786-866-5411 and probably a host of other numbers with 1-786-876-XXXX

I went to www.fastinc.org and found this email address (dmedcalf@fastinc.org) to complain to.

This is their response...

"Thank you for letting us know of your problem with our fundraiser. If people don?t take the time like you did we would not know.  I will have your number taken out today.  Please let me know if you have any more problems."

I have gotten the same calls from D Boyer, no doubt it's a ficticious name.  When they don't say anything, they figure you will call back their number since you have it in your caller ID.  Then they usually give you their soliciting spill. Telemarketers are low life and can't find a decent job.

i just recieved a call from this number. i didnt pick it up since i didnt recognize the number. i wanted to find out where 786 was and stumbled upon this site. i think that this is probably some scam to access your phone line so calls can be charged to your phone. i wouldnt pick up the phone when that area code comes up

call pick-up by answering machine and caller hung up without leaving a message.

Calls my home frquently, hangs up when someone says hello.

Same as the rest of you. So what do we do to STOP it?? I've called everyone I can think of. Why bother with do not call lists anyway?
This is all a big joke.

Caller ID says "G Schneider" and we had to say "Hello?" several times, then when we handed the phone to the person they asked for, they hung up after he said "hello" a couple times.

These clowns have called from 1-786-866-2542, shows up on caller ID as G. Anderson. They called more than once and keep hanging up on me. If this is law enforcement agency fund raiser they won't get a thing from me. These fund raisers often get 80% of what they collect and the charity gets 20%.

I am reporting the number , I am sick and tired of gettting interrupted by telephone calls from people who hang up. So much for the do not call list. It's a joke.
