I got a text from this number just now:
"YourCOOP-SERVICESAccountHasBeenLimited. Call 7868880299 ToReactivate." I called it and it just hung up after 2 seconds. Interesting, but now I'm paranoid it's some kind of account scam that gets your account info and can do something to it... *sweats paranoid...ly* :p

Yes, it is a scam. I'm on Sprint as well, which means they are sending messages to phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com making the cost of broadcasting this SMS spam FREE.

I just did a little reverse phone number trace for the number and it belongs to a company called DSL INTERNET CORPORATION in Perrine, Florida, but the NAME of the person the number belongs to is still a mystery. What it's used for I have no clue. Oh, and it's a landline.

I got the same message through text. I have Sprint too. I called it. Doesnt say a bank name. I entered a fake card number to try and get someone on the phone. It accepted the card # so it is definitely a scam.
