Yes, I got the same misspelled text yesterday.  Assumed it was a scam because the always list cards using the last 4 digits, not the first 5.  Will forward, Paige, thanks for the info

Notify your wireless carrier, that's what I did.

Got a text message yesterday from 6245 that reads: 17868881129@vtext.com Due to fraudulent withdrawal your number card (405609xxxxxxx) balance feel to - 125$. Please contact us immediately at 1-786-888-1179. Since this message makes absolutely no sense, sounds like it was written by a person who obviously doesn't speak English well and does not know that the $ sign goes before the amount not after, lists the first digits of my supposed account when all credit cards list the last four digits of the account, and does not identify the sender I called Verizon Wireless to report it. They told me to text back to the number STOP and also had me forward the text to them to help prevent further spam emails.

Also notify your wireless carrier. They will document the information.

My partner and I also got messages that our accounts are in a minus 125.00$ with no bank affiliated with it. Assume total scam did not respond.

got a text from 17868881129@vtext.com: Due to fraudulent withdrawal your card 40509xxxxxxx balance feel to - 125$. Please contact us immediately ay 1-786-888-1179.

per Verizon wireless customer service forward text to 7726 so law enforcement can track

Oh, and BTW., it came from "17868881129@vtext.com."

I got the following msg on my iPhone at 2:02 pm today:

"Due to fraudulent withdrawal your number card ( 405609xxxxxxxxxx ) balance feel to -125$. Please contact us immediately at 1-786-888-1179"

Anyone know how/who to report this to?

got the number in a text message. Its a scam - it has nothing to do with the real Community Bank - the real bank has an alert on their website that says the text messages are a phishing scam.

just received a text from this same number 1-786-888-1179 -same message as above -I was a banker and if there is fraud -they will call you /not text !

but it came from 1-786-888-1129 as a vtext. Dumb scammers.

You can forward spam texts to some mobile phone carriers ( use 7726). I just forwarded it to Verizon and they send an automated response back asking for the sender info. The FTC website has more info on spam texts and emails.

Just got the SAME message - fraudulent activity. Said my card "feel" to $125. They can't even spell. Not deleting yet but not responding. Thanks everyone. Glad I looked it up.

Got a text   Told me my account was -125$. It's a SCAM!  Reported this number (1-786-888-1179) to the do not call list in New Jersey.

I got a call stating Due to fraudulent withdrawal you number card balance feel to -$125. Please contact us immediately at this number. Clearly a scam!

I received a text message on my phone stating that "Due to fraudulent withdrawal your number card (......xxxxxxxxxxx) balance feel to - 124$.Please contact us immediately at 1-786-888-1179."

I have no idea who this is so I didn't respond.  I would suggest others do not either.

If they're going to spam my phone they could at least spell FELL instead of FEEL. Dumbasses. I might have believed it if things were spelled correctly hahaha

Just received this message and they did not even use a bank... Deleted it immediately off my phone
