One call on company phone, missed it, and tried calling back, got busy signal each time. Called my boss and told him about, he said no one else has had a problem yet.

Same scam here. I use a Magic jack FWIW.

This is another phishing scam for account numbers.  Wish they would crack down on this.

We don't even bank with Wells Fargo, but just received a automated phone call that our CC had been deactivated.  Very strange.  Someone is scamming all you Wells Fargo people.

Got it at 11:53pm Halloween night on my cell phone, hung up since I don't have a WF account (it was automated). Wanted me to press "1", but I hung up. My mom had gotten one earlier that night on her cell phone, tried punching in a fake number, but it didn't work. Her call came from an "unknown" number, though.

Two calls in middle of night. Irritating to be woke up. Missed first, pushed IGNORE for second.  Am in Arizona.

We got a call on this number at 3AM.  Didn't answer & they didn't call back.
How do you block calls like this?

I got three consecutive calls from this number, from 1:36 a.m. to 1:47 a.m. When I finally answered (because I was groggy), it was a recording that advised me my Wells Fargo card was inactivated. I hung up before listening further.

frickin called me at 10pm on a friday - no answer just a missed call. no voicemail.

they called about credit card cancelation or something i hung up before they could finish because i knew it was a scam.  none of my cards are in jepardy of being cancelled, so i knew it was a lie. ididnt really listen to who was calling i just knew it was a scam

Automated call said I was mazes out press 1. Hung up no card I'm sure they wanted my card # to increase my limit.

Got a call at 12:58am. I don't answer numbers that I don't know; especially when they are from Puerto Rico. Just hit end call.

Received unsolicited call x 2 from this number.

Phone rang at 6:30am with message to press "1" if I wanted to "reactivate my Wells Fargo credit card" --- I do NOT have any credit card from Wells Fargo nor do I have any other business dealings with Wells Fargo -- so I hung up.

Just got 3 calls that I didn't answer from Puerto Rico. 8:22 am, 8:28 am, and 8:33 am, Pacific Time.

got two calls at 11:45 and 11:55.

I tried calling it back, too, and just got a Spanish recording.  They also told me I had a Wells Fargo Credit Card (which I don't, although I have a WF Mortgage) which needed reactivation.  Waited for quite a while hoping to get an operator I could yell at but no avail.

3 class at midnight within 5 minutes.  Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

1 call 12;45 am, automated wells fargo  (I think) pressed 1, then entered 16 random numbers trying to see If I could get a repeat of the claimed card.  Said invalid #.  Hung up, tried to call back, only spanish (I think).   google search lead me here.

Missed the call. Didn't look at the number. Just looked it up. Glad I didn't answer.

I just a call from that number, same message, press 1 to reactivate. Stupidly I pressed 0 hoping to talk to a human but the call got cut off. Any insights? Has anybody done that? Consecuences?
