Called my father in law this morning said my brother in law was in a bad wreck in Centralia Illinois and needed money wired to them this is b.s.

Received call telling me my son had an accident in Hackensack, NJ.  I asked for the name of the person in the accident.  Asked me if I knew where Hackensack is.  The person spoke English and then Spanish.  He tried to tell me that the accident was very bad and that he got my number.  I don't have a son. Sounded very fishy.  Then asked me where I was at the moment which I refused to tell and then he said that he may have a wrong number.  I looked it up and found out that it is a scam.  Don't give information about yourself.

My kid got a call from this guy tellin her of a bad accident her son or brother was involved in. After finding out she had neither he asked her if she had a sister at which time I took the phone & he hung up. When I called the # back I got a spanish recording. I immediately called phone service & had # blocked & filed a police report. The police called the # & he said he called the wrong #. They I assume bought his story although I told them of this web page. So my advice is to call police when this clown calls. Eventually they will catch him.

just got a phone call demanding money for someone in my family who just got in a wreck when everyone was home safe reported the number

Received a call this morning from this number saying that a brother in law was kidnapped demanding ransom. We realized it was a scam. Watch out for this stuff.

He called me and told me my son was in a bad car acceident and was in bad trouble so I called my son and he was fine I almost past out
