Got the same call yesterday. Did not pick it up...

I got the same call today. No news

He calls me frequently - and it is rather disturbing sinse you never know what they are up to. i guess it's phising

I received a call from this number with a recording telling me that I've won a lottery.

Fik opkald fra dette nr. for anden gang.
Lagde røret på med det samme.
Sikker på det er narreværk beregnet på at tappe penge via telefonregningen.

Ok tak syntes det var et lidt mystisk nummer så ved det hvis de ringer igen

Fik også en opringning fra dette nr. Det er dog ikke første gang men har engang været for tæt på at hoppe i med begge ben, så nu lægger jeg på så snart der er en der siger tillykke på engelsk. Jeg er åbenbart bare en af mange kan jeg se, så nu er jeg rigtig glad for jeg bare lagde på.
Godt med sådan en side her til at advare andre. Jeg landede nemlig også her ved at google tlf. nummeret.

From my received calls log I can see we also have received several calls form 0017890004512. This evening we had one again with the same story: "Congratulations! You have won a trip to Florida with all cost.......".

I found this forum by Googling, - but via Google I also found that the area code 778 and 789 does not exist. From my SIP-log I can see: The call came to me via PSTN to my VoIP provider. So probably a PSTN call to Denmark. - The caller must have manipulated his Caller-ID information.

Blev ringet op 2.februar tog ikke telefonen, da vi er blevet ringet op i november af samme nummer, hvor jeg heller ikke tog den. Googleede nummeret og landede her.

Blev ringet op og selvfølgelig trykkede jeg 9.... Spurgte om en masse vedr rejser og tilsidst lagde han røret på??? Hvad er det her???

Prank call ??? somthing about a contest?? then press 9 and then there is a women or company that answers the call an then hangs up ?? very strange.

Just got a call from this number, but did not take the call as I did not recognise the number. I know who would be calling me from overseas and I would also recognise their numbers. Never seen a phone number that begins with three zeros after the area code (if it is in fact an area code). It probably has nothing to do with a trip to Florida and the caller probably does not want you to take the call, as the caller has something more cunning in mind. Some people automatically return an unanswered call without looking twice at the number who called them. But in this case you would most probably experience an exhorbitent increase on your next phone bill. The number might look innocent, but it could just as well be relayed to a suspicous location with someone in the underground making money out of the call - only charged to your account!

Yes, we all know it's a scam. My question is... how much is TDC and the rest of them charging us for these stupid calls... and NO I did not press 9. I'm an American living in Denmark... if I want to go to Florida, I'll pay for it, and not think some random stranger will let me win a contest I never entered.

Anyway... as I say... how much are we getting charged... would like to hear about the phone bills...

I also received a call from this number. I live in Denmark. I was not home. My caller id kept a record of the number that called. They did not leave any message. As I did not recognize the number I tried to do a reverse phone look up and found this.....

Alle der har fået dette kald er fra danmark. Alle får samme besked. Uanset hvad vil det aldrig koste noget at svare telefonen - først hvis du trykket et ciffer (i såfald vil man blive viderestillet til et nyt nummer), eller hvis man ringer nummeret op manuelt. Det er bare tards der prøver at lave dollars..

Som størstedelen af jer andre bor jeg også i Danmark:D

A few minutes ago I was called by this number.
It is not the first time I get such a call, but I really would not waste my time responding.

If you live in Denmark, why would you want to go halfway around the world to Florida? If you wanted a trip to America, you probably would of done it a long time ago. Stupid callers... X(

We also had a call that we won a trip to Florida "if you want more information press 9" (Yeah RIGHT) Just for fun i told my wife that i would press 9 (just to hear what the scam was about) and then i waited 30 sec. and. I got a guy who asked me if i had a god day. I Asked him about the trip and he hung up. just a Warning !!!!
