Hung up when I answered it.  I suspect this is a list cleaning process where they have an auto-dialer dialing all the numbers in their list to identify bad numbers.  Once they identify and remove the bad numbers, they sell the list to someone else who will probably use a different caller ID number to do a sales related call of sorts.  That's just my guess.
