This is supposedly a medical company, but they are a scam listing on Craigslist

The number is not working and they are soliciting for blood donors and plasma donors. Another internet scam. Let's get them behind bars!

They just rang again and i answered it saying you have already rang me and im not interested please sto calling me. Can you take my number off your system.... to which i get a very rude response!

I dont care who it is sky or not but it is really getting on my wick now.why dont they try three times or something then give up every single day.arghhhhh.im not answering any unknown numbers from now on.it seems if you give youre number to one person on the phone or internet they pass it to every business that is in need of customers.leave us alone.

they have been calling me and when i answer,he said:Could you call to us back sir ???Of course I did`nt call back.

This number called me a few minutes ago and no one was on the other end.
Today has been strange, as I've gotten THREE calls in the past 2 hours (2 at home, 1 on my mobile) from people like this, and I never get these types of calls any more. I'm on a no call list, but that doesn't seem to be doing much!

Is this really SKY? They called my mobile to sell me extended warrenty on my sky box and if there were any breakdowns then they would send an engineer, which I would have thought Sky would do anyway considering I was subscribing to their service. When I asked them to ring my home phone they said they were unable to do that even though the phone is with them too!! Odd thought I so I just said I wasn't interested and he hung up.

Thanks guys. They've called me a few times too. After the second call I was wondering if the sky wants something send a letter or an email or a massage. I’ve got this kind of calls as Scottish gas, SKY, BT.
So the best to do doesn’t matter who calls I don’t say anything about me.

Hi Just got a call form the same number, just as well I ignored it

I have just had a call from this number which I did not answer as I never answer unknown numbers. If they call me again I shall be telling them where to go.

I get 2 or three calls from this number every week, no way of blocking it on my phone.

Everytime I answer the line just hangs up - so I guess they are just trying to get you to ring them back.

I had a call from them a while ago and another today but didn't recognise the number.
I had spoken to them regarding the plan at length and if i remember correctly some paper work sent by them.
As stated above with data protection they will have to request payment details, but contract details aren't as breaching data protection so long as the details are used in the purpose they where requested for.
I work in insurance and this is done everyday.
I believe the company to be ok, just persistent to have your business just like any mobile phone company.
At least speak to them before making quick decisions about them like i original did.

This number called today at lunchtime, left no message. Looking at the comments, it appears this will be the first of many times they will try to ring. Sigh.

I'm slightly confused, if this company is saying they are working on behalf of sky and in actual fact there not, why isn't sky trying to protect there customs and there dater?

This number has called me several times and i haven't answered, i pay for my sky box ten pound a month so if it broke i would expect it to be replaced im sure it comes with warranty as does everything you buy 12 months warranty no matter how big or small its trading standard and if something breaks due to a manufacturer fault its there job to replace it.

However i will be calling sky to see if they are a sister company working on there behalf and if that's not the case then i will be asking sky what they intend on doing about this matter.

Also i have to agree with the guy who said why would someone google the phone number of the company they work for?

These "people" ( telephone systems / telemarketer's )  are nothing but salesmen. they are just doing their job of bugging people with the intended goal to nab a sale.

Fact 1 : Your information that you freely give up to companies gets sold like any other commodity. Its gold.  To me or you its "nothing" but to businesses.... it called a "mailing list."

Get used to it ... just think the next time you fill out ANY form

Fact 2 : All conspiracy theorist's... take note ............The company "Caller: Domestic and General" is just another company trying to make a dollar without losing their dollar. they bought the mailing list and they are going to some make back the investment money by selling you a silly insurance.

They are not some super villainous thefts trying to take over the world... one phone number at a time.

But my phone tells me that it is restricted and gives me an error code. Only number that I have ever had that happen with. I decided to look up the number and see if other people had had trouble with it.

I just recieved this call from this number, i ignored them as i didnt regonise it. A quick google and i find its some fraud. To answer the above comment, sky charge 65quid for a replacement box if yours fails. Why would i want to pay £100+ to some pesky fraudster.

Had the same call from these people, have just started ignoring the call as they are still tryin to get me to take up insurance with them on my sky box which i do not want!!!

These people have been calling me for weeks. I get at least one call every day and it is really frustrating!

They claim to be sky but sounded a lot like a woman walking down the road on a mobile rather than being in a call centre!

They try to sell me insurance for my sky box. It's a FAKE!

Don't speak to these people, block their number or report them if you can.

I received a call from this number and as always i listened clearly and was patient (always treat people how you want to be treated!!) the lady who called was very nice and said she was calling re sky HD + Box protection.

As SKY themselves charge you about £200 for a new box if yours was to brake i was interested in what she was saying so after asking her to call back in a hour i phoned sky who confirmed they are GENUINE and are working on behalf of SKY so there you go guys - there NOT FAKE!!

For just £8.83 PCM i think it is a good investment rather than paying £200+ for a new box!!

Am now a happy sky protect customer, who no longer needs to worry about her sky hd + box!!! :-)

I don't care if you work for SKY, for a Telesales Company, or for GOD Himself. Stop your annoying un wanted and un solicited calls to my mobile and my home numbers. I have received all of the above. The thing that frustrates me Is If they are Sky, why do they ask for your bank details when they allready have them..... WEIRED

I've missed 2 calls in the last 2 days from this number.  After reading here I replaced the '+' with a '0' and called back - got a recorded message saying I was called by Domestic & General on behalf of Sky, if you do not wish to receive further marketing calls call 08000832432.
