I want the call now

if it was GEICO they would leave a message...this call is suspect at best and I think all the posts saying its GEICO are the crooks placing the calls.  BTW I get this call regularly and I don't have GECO and I do not answer it but I will next time.

I have Geico, have not moved and it is my office line.  Didn't answer it because it was an unusual sequence of numbers.  They left no message.  If it is important, they should leave a message.  If they don't, I feel it is a scam just waisting my time.

I got a call twice from a no which was 1800 123 only. i didnt pick up and they didnt leave a voicemail. wierd. i know i will not get anywhere if i call back but just wondering who is it from?

I have gotten calls 4 times today from this number, no voicemail left for any of them. I, too, have Geico and have recently moved. There must be a connection. I will call Geico directly and update any info with them and hopefully these auto-dialer calls will stop.

same exact situation - called my work and my cell and also moved recently. Wondered how someone would have both of those numbers, so probably is geico.  Annoyed.

Just recieved another call from 800-123-1234 asking me to hold for information on my geico policy... I don't even have geico!

It would help if we start to include how RECENTLY we moved...I just got a call from the same number 10 minutes ago.  I have geico, and moved about 2 months ago,  I updates my address immedeatly after moving, but I didn't update my address directly with geico for another month following

person sounded like a cat and was asking me about recipes

My husband and I both received calls from this number on the same day - one was around 8:30pm. We have Geico, moved in Sept but have yet to change our address with them. Guess I'll do that today!

It is NOT Geico.  Listen to it carefully.  She says GeiGO.  It is a fishing scam.

got a call at 9pm last night no msg and at 1:55 today no msg, recently moved and updated address online.

I got a call in which they left a vm, and it was just as "Jiminy" below said.  It was from Geico informing me of an address change that they were notified of by the Postal Service.  This is correct because I just moved.

It's Geico.  I answered and it was an automated person telling me to update my address b/c they'd rec notice that I had just moved, which I had.

Also, I called the customer service number for Geico to confirm that it was them that had called with the automated message and the woman I talked to said that the automated 800 numbers are contracted with different companies for different reasons and other companies may also use this number to automate messages to their customers.  So, not a scam.

I have Geico.  I moved two weeks ago.  I haven't updated the address with them.  Maybe its something automatic to see if the number has changed as well?

Got a call from the number today. I also just moved a few weeks ago and I have Geico. I also recieved an email from Geico about updating my address info about two days ago.

It was Geico for me, saying I should update my address because I had recently moved (which I had).

It may be an automatic dialer used by multiple companies.



I just got this blasted number calling me and yes, it was Gieco informing me of my address change because I had recently move (which I had) - just like jiminny

Dirty Geico, i'm disliking them more all the time. This is really stupid. Use a real damn number, what are they trying to hide?

I do not have Geico, nor have I moved, but I was called by this number.

I got this one twice, Monday and today.  No voicemail.

Yea it is GEICO about an address change.

Received a call Fall 2009 then again in Jun 2009; the message left was a scamming call from someone who claimed to be with GEICO and wanting to confirm an address.  I called GEICO (using their correct number) and they confirmed my address was current, and asked that I report the scamming-number and the scamming-message to their fraud department.
IF you get a message, DO NOT CALL BACK!
IF you speak to the 800-123-1234 caller, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO!
