Got a call today but didn't answer
TnT 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
Got a call with this number today. The Extended Warranty offered mentioned by someone else on here makes sense as I was just thinking yesterday how I hadn't received the Extended Warranty call in almost a week.

I get this phone call all the time. It said to press 1 to talk to someone. As soon as the lady got on the phone i started to give her a piece of mymind and she hung up on me. I was unable to call the number back.

Received a call, but since I've been getting these spammers and telemarketers I've made it my policy to never answer if I don't recognize the number. I always get on here and check it before calling back.

Received a call on our other line that only the employees use. I said hello and it was quite for about 5 seconds then it hung up. These calls need to stop. Its really beginning to irritate me.

Got the call today on my AT&T cellphone but did not answer. They left no message. Annoying.

I HATE THESE PEOPLE.
I get a call from them TWICE a day on ALL my numbers. This is one of the MANY ones trying to get me to sign up for auto insurance.
This should be 100% illegal.
Six times I have tried to get a human on the phone and ask what company they are from. Six times they have hung up on me.

I keep getting these calls from 1-800-168-4861 and when I asked to be taken off the call list the guy hung up on me, if anyone has info on this company or it's location please let me know.
Jon 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
I answered the phone and my phone said "call lost". I live in a bad area for service anyway, but has happened to me before on other numbers. Called back on skype and found out it was invalid number. Called the other number 800-995-0751 that someone else posted and said leave a message but the mailbox was full.

missed a call at 5:38pm from this number.
Dave 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
Did not recognize the number, so I didn't pick up. I just got this trac phone, so few people have my number. I think these people are just making random calls.

Another annoying call to my cell phone.

This is that same Warranty Soltions company trying to extend the warranty on my vehicle (which is 10 years old).
staci 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
Called 2 times. Didnt answer, no voicemail
mark 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
"2nd notice that your factory warranty on your vehicle is about to expire" - I pressed 1 and waited for the person to answer - I requested to be removed from the list (they asked for my phone # "to verify and remove" - I figured they had it already, what can it hurt?). I get these calls all the time - several a week to the point that when my work cell rings, I expect that it's these jokers.

Caller Type: Telemarketer
Phone Number Owner: National Health care
Phone Number Report: The call came from the 800-168-4861. This time it was not about care warranty, they said they were National Health Care for the uninsured, and I pre qualified. Which I already have health insurance. They said they just need some basic info so I can get insurance for me and my family for $99 a month. these idiots have nothing to do but make phone calls.
Cary's Girlfriend 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
My boyfriend Cary got a call on his Verizon Wireless cell phone from 1800-168-4861 and they asked him if he knew the mileage on his car. They said his tile would expire and wanted to know his tile number. He didn't give it to them, thank god! So I look up this site to tell everyone that these people are fishing to steal your identity and buy a car in your name, please beware!

I kept getting tons of these calls forever it seemed. I finally became so incensed by it all one day and picked up the phone and waited for a live person. A woman asked me if I wanted to extend the warranty on my car. I told her I did not own a car and to please take me off of their calling list.
The calls decreased to 0 after that. Just tell them you don't own a car and they quit calling! lol
Also, I now have a new phone number since january of this year and I did NOT put it on the do not call list like my last one. Telemarketers just take all the numbers on the list and call anyway, regardless of the fines. It's nice to have a lot fewer calls to deal with.
phawcue 2011-06-06 20:57:16 Unknown
This is also an "Extended Warranty" offer that is relentless in their number of calls, every few days they call. got on the phone with them and pretended to be interested, even giving them some info about my car, etc (nothing too personal, or that could be easily googled). They insisted I purchase now with a credit card before they could send out eny info by mail or otherwise. beware of these scam artists!!!

They called and left a message. They said they wanted to offer me insurance and when I called the number they left: 877-827-6871 it was a recording about a weight loss product. they said to leave my name and number and they would call me back. i just left dead silence for a minute to annoy them. I've been getting these spam calls for awhile now. Usually the auto warranty scam.

Called referring to warranty vehicle
ratbastard 2009-05-06 19:40:03 Unknown
this call now refers to itself as a health care provider for those that cant afford it. If you listen to the voice mail it will give you another number to call. I think that they are just using computer to dial up numbers that are not listed anywhere and dont give a hoot if you have a no call listing.

Never answer a number you don't know. I use my cell as a pager and for my emergencies only. Car warranty people , high pressure telemarketing , 3 rd party bill collectors can only win when you answer. Requesting quotes for insurance and the like on the net is a bad idea too, your phone may ring all day long ! I use Life Lock and change my credit card #s, pass codes, file complaints, and make life hell for identity thieves and con artists frequently. You can also file a report with Rip off dot com on the net. Careful though keep it honest and respectful as the scum may try to sue. This number in particular hangs up on me.
