Just got a call supposedly from this number, message left told me to go to some fake AT&T website to claim my $1,000.  Those scammers have been calling a couple times a day disguising their number.

Spam. Automated voice recording says it's from Verizon asking for payment information. Unknown caller.

i know i have over due bill throw cox but thay sai i could not pay them the  bill that was over due but i  talk to cop he said i have right to make payment even win cox denine me survise as a custormore . but some nuber logit but sometime hate getting this call from over due bills i know i have to pasy it but i do not got that kind cash on hand till actly save up for it  but i think it right to pay the bill if you have enuff to cover late charges fee to and pay for the new survise also i think cox can not turn you away if you paying it in full amoount i think.

I was late but also made arrangements to pay this morning. Then received a call from this number. When I called it back, it rang directly through to Cox payments. The rep I spoke to was very nice and told me that it's their automated system. If I've already made arrangements, then I'm good.

This is a call from Cox Communications.  I didn't answer when they called, so don't know if it was a recording or a live person, and they didn't leave a message. When I called the number back it answered just like the number I usually call to pay my Cox bill. I was able to choose their automated payment system and pay my bill.

Ive gotten the same calls They are just recordings until you call back and then they tell you that you owe a bill Sorry I don't have them as an company. Don't watch tv enough to pay that much. I have much better things to spend my hard earned dollars on.

Calls about 5 times a day. I answered one time and they said they were Cox and needed my account info...I use Autopay so I knew my account was current. They are NOT Cox, they are Phishing for personal information.

Scammers!  They are bogus phone calls.  They kept calling my number at different times of the night! I finally amswered and they are looking for some random name.  They have no idea who they are calling.

This is a scamming attempt from an unknown party disguising themselves as COX.  I have notified COX, and they advised me that my account has a zero balance but unfortunately this issue can not be resolved by them.  If you are concerned about your bill contact their official company line.  These scammers develop into stronger entities with every vulnerable victim they scam.

I received the same weird phone call. My credit card was expired and my account was past due. They should of just said that instead of trying to "upgrade" my service.

I got a call from this number and it just hung up. If it is Cox Communications then you'd think they'd want to talk to people if they owe them money.

It's Cox Communications and they seem to call everyday if you're late on a bill. It's frustrating because instead of helping customers and giving them more time to pay, they'll just keep calling. They also never leave a message when calling from the 1-800 number.

I missed a call from them (not unhappy about that) and, after checking this site, I would have to doubt that it's really Cox calling (even if that's who they claim to be).  I have Cox set up on autopay and just got an e-mail confirming the most recent charge so they're not going to be calling me to tell me I'm overdue.

ok what you do is call it back, talk to a representitive and aske them to have them stop calling you with that number! its worked for me

this is a fake company lol i dont owe money to cox i pay on time so i know this is something cox didnt say to call i never had a issue with Cox

Due to so many telemarketing and collections. I wish when its calls from Cox or my utilities company call, I'd like if they stated right away, THIS IS COX COMMUNICATIONS CALLING, is Bob home.

I do not have an account with Cox Communications.  Please stop calling me. Called 8 times on a Saturday.  This borders on Harassment.

I can verify that this is a collector from Cox. They are a 3rd party and will try to pressure you into giving them payment information, even if you have an arrangement setup already. they will continue to call you until your account is no longer past due.

I missed a call today from this number today without a message. Afterward, I ignored 4 more calls from the same number throughout the day, and again no message. I now have it programmed into my phone as spam with a silent ringtone.

2 calls today. No message on the first call. The second call came through as some rude man telling me to make payment or bad things would happen. I could barely understand him so I told him I would call cox here in America to resolve the issue.

Cox Communications. They have changed the way they contact you when you are late. When you are now 10 days past due, they have a different collections department contact you. Unfortunately the person sounded like he was from India with a heavy accent. I have a note on my account previously my account was being brought current today before 5. I finally hung up on him as he did not appear to comprehend I already made arrangements and the fact I could barely understand him did not help. I just wish they would not "outsource" these calls or at least hire people that you can understand. Not complaining about Cox in general. My fault for being late.

Got 4 calls in one day from this number. No voice mail left.

8+ calls a day from this number ? outrageously harassing. How to make it stop?
