I have Morequity and they do not like working with you or give you a reasonable payment arrangement. They are unfair.

They are sending out post cards now with no return addresses from a zip code and a demand for their mortgagors to call 800-205-8640 x_____.  With no reference to what the matter is about.

Other than the telephone number the only identifying number is the zip code on the stamp cancellation by the post office, however, MorEquity IS our mortgage Co.

Hi I been trying to keep out of forscloseure at two months but my wife got sick and lost a month of work she is a hair stylist that set me behind in my bills I told More equity that I could not pay this month and that put me in three months  I told them my wife is back to work and that I had some over time coming and that I could pay more  . a woman working for More equity said that it was to late and I should put my money in a saveings  account. but before this time i tried for a moderforcation and they refused me because my second morgage was with another company  they said that because goverment  rules would not let them  because the second morgage was not in their company,. but that is not true they could have given me the modifercation. they also said I should sell my cars and take a bus to work but tthat is over 30 miles a way and also I should not pay my other bills but only theirs.

Does anyone have a contact info over at MorEquity.  i am trying to help a client with a short sale but has a f/c fast approaching and i cant find anyone at Mor Equity to help to push the f/c back.  any names and numbers of people that might help over there? the higher the better?

I am also behind in 1.5 months... I spoke with Jennifer and she said she cant help us.. They are not very helpful, also last year they modified and still was taking more 75% of income..... Then they wonder why I cant keep up... I am so stressed.. I have been sick emotionally... I to think they are all about forclosure... I cant take it anymore, I dont want to loose my house, but emotionally drained.....

I filed chapter 7. I was trying to make a deal with MorEquity loss Mitigation to reaffirm the debt on my home. Someone called me while I was at work. He was VERY persistant, and wanted to collect a payment. He said "Honey, you are living in the home for free, and we need to collect a payment. So,how much can you pay, and when can you pay it..." This is unprofessional. Is this not disgraceful intimidation? He literally forced me into a forbearance agreement.

No kidding!  They don't want to work with you at all.  I also have a loan with Morequity.  I am 2 months behind and started working with a company to help make an agreement with them so that we can catch up.  They haven't been very cooperative.  I think they like foreclosing!

It's Morequity calling...if you're getting calls from this #, they are trying to put you in foreclosure.  We are 1.5 months behind and they are sticking us in foreclosure already.  My husband just got a new job (he's been unemployed) and we're trying to play catch-up.  This organization does not work with people at all.
