Class 1 RECALL notification from Sam's Club for cantelope we just bought.

No message left

Message from this number 800-206-8504, was left on my voicemail, regarding a turkey burger recall on April 3, 2011.  I called the number stated to confirm it was from Sams Club.  I had indeed purchased the recalled turkey burgers at Sams Club but not cooked/eaten any yet.  I immediately took the package back to Sams Club for a full refund--no questions asked.  THIS WAS A REAL CALL.  I'm grateful that they keep records of member purchases for such things as this.  I usually just delete these types of calls, but I knew I had purchased this product at Sams Club.

Found a voice mail on my phone from this number. It was cut off, but talked about a sugar cookie recall with the UPC code of 00029519183806. They also claimed to be Sam's Club. They left this phone number as well as 800-292-1362 to call for further information. The messages was an automated one.

Call and message  from Sam's Club informing us that " according to their records, we purchased Liquid Motrin, lot #-------, which is in the present recall".  Yep, we sure did.

These people have called me over four times in a period of two hours on a Sunday morning and it isn't even twelve noon yet!  I appreciate the product recall notice, but sam's club need to get the kinks worked out of their telephone system.  It takes about five seconds after you say hello for the automated message to start.

We just have been getting phone calls from these guys now for about a week I really wish they would stop calling. Its becoming a real pain having them call I wish they would just say what they wanted but no one every speaks when I pick up I say hello hello but no one answers.

Did not answer the first time, left no v-mail.  But they did call again and no v-again... if this is Sams why not leave a v-mail?  I hope this does not go one for days like all the TOLL FREE numbers that come thru go....

I received an automated call from Sams Club about a product recall. I had purchased a food item that was recalled by the manufacturer. Luckily my voicemail took the message so I will no longer eat this product. I would say to everyone that for your safety this is one number you SHOULD ANSWER.

BTW I really appreciate this site as I use it to filter out all kinds of unwanted calls at work as well as at home

Received computer call from this number at 742PM 1 May.  Stated from Sams Club concerning possible purchase of HYDROXYCORTIN which was recalled by FDA.  Seemed strange, since we have a Business Card from Sams but have never been called before.  Could be a searcher trying to confirm phone numbers as good.
