This phone number is actually a Chase phone number according to the Chase credit card company.  I still did not give them any info. They called saying they are fraud prevention and that they have a copy of my credit report in front of them. wanted me to tell them about my recent transactions. Wanted the name of my mortgage company and former address.  I called Chase and there is a $9,800 fraudulent charge on my account!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It pays to check!!!!!! They closed my account for me

Recived a call 2/14 concerning my account and for me to call back and have my credit card number ready.

I was first hesitating to believe it was Chase, but indeed it was.  I still did not provide any personal identifying numbers, but they were able to confirm and assist me as to whether or not fraud had occurred.

This is not a scam!!  This is a legitimate number with legitimate people who told me the details of the fraudulent charges I had reported to my credit card company by calling the number on the back of my card and being transfered, several months ago.  They had called me because I had not responded to a dispute letter that had been sent to my address.  There are so many real scammers out there ... I think it is time to let this one go....

I received a call from this number as I had made a substantial cash transfer the day before. Since I didn't really know who they were, I didn't give them my account numbers but that are legitimate and, after asking me some innocuous questions that aren't going to hurt me (like home phone number, last four digits of my SSN, etc.) they were able to verify that I did indeed make a cash transfer.

Chase Visa fraud department.  They were calling to verify a transaction.

Got a message from them.  It was Chase Fraud department.  This was a legit call concerning a balance transfer I put in.  They just wanted to verify that I did request the transfer.

I also received a call from this number saying they were from Handyman of America Family Visa investigating fraud on my account and asked them to call me back immediately.  I dont have this card and am assuming this is a bs call.

Same deal where they called, even calling me at work (!) about supposed fraud.  I called the real number and cleared it up, only to have them call again.

I was called buy this number also claiming to be a Chase fraud operator.  asking about a 900 dollor transaction to my bank.
