I have been getting calls from this number for months now asking for William. I have told them several times that it is the wrong number.
It is so weird. Is there any way to stop the calls? I have blocked the number.

I keep receiving calls from 800-214-2098.  I always answer and no one says anything.  It's very annoying.  I try to call back and all I get is a busy signal.

I recieved phone calls every single day from this number 1800-214-2098...its pssing me off.......

A man called me from this number asking for "my son's name".  I explained he was calling a number that doesn't belong to him and he asked if I'm his mother.  I said yes and he asked me for my son's phone number.  I said I don't have his new number, I only have his girlfriend's number and I don't feel comfortable giving that out - but I can take down your name and number and make sure he get's it.  He said he doesn't feel comfortable giving his name and number out to a mother who doesn't have her own son's phone number and then he hung up on me.

Some one constantly calls my co-worker and my place of business I need my job they keep asking if SSI is 2380 I kepp telling NO I want to presue I need my job

Was in shower - 9:20 AM today:   Because our house land line is used for our business -  to be in yellow pages- fax - etc - - AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS LISTED ON THE  DO NO CALL LIST -  when there is an 800 number that appears -  I assume it is a business related call with someone that we do business with.     BUT  IT  WAS THE 4th time that the person on the phone asked for the same name  a   FRANK  SNEDEKER  -  each time I told them no Frank at this number -  that we have had this phone number for over 10 years - and no family member by the name of  Frank.   I raised my voice - told them to remove our phone number from their calling list -  she said that I didn't need to get loud.  Even though I had told her that it was the 4th call from them in error -  and that they were calling  ME  and  bothering  ME -  yes I could raise my voice.  

After getting out of the shower I called the 800-214-2098 number on my display found out it was  Harvard Collections- talked with a  Cedric Jones who assured me that they removed our number from their list.    I told him  -  "You have a computer,  Google in the telephone number you will see one of two things,   1  My husband's name -which our name is not Snedeker or you will see  2  That it is listed under our business name.   Come on here -  do some  REAL  DETECTIVE WORK "  

Once again,  Cedric assured me that they removed our number from their records -  I am logging in time and date of the phone call -  who I talked with etc -  because I will file a complaint with Ohio Attorney General -   Ohio Consumer Credit Law prohibits phone calls be made once someone has asked you to not call them   EVEN  IF  IT  WERE  TO  BE  THE  PERSON THAT THEY  ARE LOOKING FOR -   let alone someone that you are then considered harassing that IS  NOT THE PERSON YOUR ARE LOOKING FOR .   Keep records of these phone calls,  date,  time,   name of person calling,  any information on who they are looking for etc.   Once you have told them not to call you again -  report the next abuse .

This number 800 214 2098 keeps calling and won't leave a message.  I blocked out the number.  Just a few minutes ago this number gets through. This is the number that showed up, 1- 214 -2098 they are spoofing the phone and somehow got through.  I am going to report them.

I just got a call from this number, woke me up. I listened to the voicemail and before telling me they were harvard collections they wanted me to go to somewhere alone in my home to share personal info. They arent gettin anything from me.

I have gotten 2 calls from Harvard Collection Agency from two different numbers:

The first time, they left a generic "call us back about an important matter" voicemail.  The second time, no message.
These calls were roughly two months apart, both to my cell phone.  I do not give my cell number out except to family, so I KNOW they do not have consent to call it.
Fortunately for me, and unfortunately for them, I know how to deal with them, thanks to debtorboards.com.

I just received a call from this number; however, he or she didn't leave a message.  It's bothers me when these debt collectors can harass a person day and night.  Believe it or not, I received a called from a debt collector at 1:00 am (can you believe that it was 1:00 am in the Morning).  I couldn't return the call, because it was a fake number.  Something has to be done and we consumers need to take a stand.

Debt collectors can call a person's house and threaten to take him or her to jail, threaten to come on a person's job, and most of all they can put anything on your credit file.  Who gives these "SCUM BAGS" power to do that!!  

I have started fighting back the only way I know how and that is to harass them.  When they call me about a ten year old debt, I constantly call them and hang up at least fifty times a day. Sometimes, I play harsh music or talk in a funny way. I harassed a bill collector so bad until he stopped calling me and stop answering his phone.  I know someone might say, "That's time consuming." Yes it is, but it's worth every minute of my time.

They called my sister-in-law's looking for my husband.  When I called back they had a two year old address and wanted his social security number before they would tell me why they called.  When I said they I would not give it to them the guy got PISSED and said he would quickly update our credit report.  Deff a scam!!

Got a pay as you go phone and immediately started starting getting  phone calls from Harvard Collections. I'm getting a whistle soon.  I rarely have my  phone with me so they can call all they want . I cuss like a Sailor.................................good luck all.

They started calling my workplace, does anyone know if that is even legal? Seems like it could be considered harassment... guess i'll have to do some research...

I am getting near constant phone calls from this number.  At least one an hour.  WHen I answer no one is there and then I start to get a busy signal.  I have NO outstanding debt with anyone.  I have tried to return the call to this number only to get a message that the "number has been restricted and to call customer care"

They're constantly calling my 14 year olds cell phone. Idiots.

The past few days I have been getting calls, vm from this phone #800-214-2098. They do not say who they are or what company they are. They say to call it is an important business matter. I looked up the # and it says it is Harvard Collection Agency. I have never heard of them and we have no negatives on our credit reports. We moved a year ago out of area and have a new phone #, I am wondering if we have someone's phone # now that has credit issues. I wish they would quit calling. If they listened to the answering machine or looked up our # they would see we are not who they are looking for.

Constantly callling! They are usning a local telephone number that is actually 800-214-2098. Today at 9:16 a.m., I answered and a "Mr. Torres" asked if I could "hold" because of another call he had to answer. When I said NO, he again asked me to hold ( they are not trained for a NO) and again I  said No and he hung up!! I will report them AND I will call Gloria at her home number.

this agency called for a upstairs tenant that moved two years ago now, and evidently left our number (we used to be friends and not now) called number back and told them she had moved, her new address, the company did not leave a reference number just name numberf and extension telling us that the  matter was of urgent importance. left message that she is no longer and never has been at this number.

I have a voice of a child so they ask to speak to an adult . i told them i'm a teen and they said to put my parents on the phone. i asked why and they hung up. i have no idea who they are o.o

Received a call from 800-536-9633 and caller wanted me to return call at 800-214-2098, I think she said her name was Mrs Shott.  She wouldn't tell me what the call was about or what company she was with but was very rude to me.  I hung up.l

keeping calling at 5162257413 without leaving a message doesn't really work.
