Appears as a missed call on my phone at work.

Ive lost 1590.00 the same way as all the other posts...Promising to lower the credit card interest rate! Ive gone to the police Ive reported to the Better Business Bureau and also the Federal....No luck....Looking like I am out this money...Ive contacted my m/c and told them I 've been frauded...this is in the works now :(

Ive also recieved the same type of calls....On 2 seperate occasions! NO NO NO They are also scammers!!!!

I've lost 1590.00 when they call and I tell them I was promised a refund by Excalibur.....I get hung up on!!!!

I also lost over $750. I cancelled my Visa card and got a new card.  Now I just got a call from a lady stating she was with MMBO  and said they have taken over Excalibur.  She wanted my new card number to make the refund but I wouldn't give it to her as I didn't trust her.  Does anyone know anything about this MMBO company?  Is it on the up and up or is this still part of the scam?

those b*****ds   now there website is gone   some ad site is now there   and when you phone them  all i get is recorded message    and leave message with my phone number and they never return my call   man those people are lowlife scum   preying on people with money problems  and getting them more in debt   we should unite and sue their scamming a***s   within their  government

They said they could lower my interest rate on my Mastercard. I had 3 conversations with 3 different  "financial specilaists" After them debiting my mastercard 790.00, I was referred to a Credit Counselling Service. They said it was based out of Burnaby BC. I didn't need counselling, I had 1 card with a high interest rate. The guy from Burnaby told me he could arrange zero percent, but my credit rating would go to a R7. I told him to forget it. I have tried reaching Exclaibur, by email with no luck and the  1 800 214 5242 doesn't identify the company's name. I told them from the beginning I was on disability. They have no morals whatsoever.......

filed 2nd complaint with BBB online   we'll see what happens now   will let you know    thanks for reply

i too was ripped off the same way as you    only   i went to better business bureau   and they filed complaint against them   excalibur has stated they would refund $$$   but that was on mar.19/2010   it is now apr. 3 /2010  and still no credit on my visa   wondering if i'll ever see the money again    man am i pissed off    would like to get my hands around there f****ng scamming necks .........

I lost 1490.00 to them on a guarantee to lower your credit card rate....bottom line...NEVER HAPPENED..STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOWLIFE SCUM!!

I also had a call from Excalibur 800-214-5242. They said they would lower the interest on my Visa. They attempted to do this through me, with myself and a person from Excalibur on a 3 way call with Visa. It didn't work as I already have the lowest rate with Visa. Since then it has been phone tag and they haven't called me on the appointment date they promised. They got $1400 from me!!

hi i recd a call and spoke with them. i actually spent 1600.00 to get this...but since i havent had any meetings with them yet, and now reading your comments i am second guessing myself...Help

be very careful. this company scammed me $790.00. they say they will lower your interest rate however, they talk to the same representative from your credit card compnay as you would. so you can do the same thing. when the finincial advisor shelley Logan could not get 2 credit card company to reduce there interest rates she told me we would have to call the bank to get a line of credit. which was not part of the agreement. so im now fighting to get my money back. hang the phone up when they call and do not get suckered in by them. seriously i learned the hard way and i now know i can do all the services they say they offer myself to try in lower my rates. THEIR SCAMS!
