I got the same call from Gretchen Smith, very rude I might add, asking for my ex-husband and his current wife!!! Told her to never call my cell again, we've been divorced for over 10 years and I took back my name.

I got a call this morning from an unknown # but the person Gretchen Lewis left a message demanding that I or my attorney call his office back at 800-214-5333 today, he did say he was calling from CRS.
She gave me a reference number and a direct number to call her (800-214-5333). Asking who they represent was the clue for me could not get the info from just were are taking you to court in a lawsuit. Well send me a paper bill so I can add mail fraud to their vast list of federal violations.

Lololol this is got to be a scam from that great state of TEXASS! Nothing better than to try to collect monies from unsuspecting innocent people as we don't have enough to worry about with the economy.

Got a call from this number asking that I talk to my neighbor. What gives?

I received a call from this number from a "Rick Phillips" they will not tell me who they work for, but are claiming to be attorneys representing HSBC, I have called HSBC and they are not aware of this company. They threaten 1099's and wage garnishment (no mention of court) They also call from 1-800-214-5360. Definitely a scam.

Wow, I pay to keep my phone number unlisted and it is on the Nationwide 'Do Not Call List'. Upon returning from work yesterday, there was a message from this woman who asked for my ex-husband by name, wanted him to call this number regarding an account and she left the acct #. I have been divorced from the idiot for over 25 years. he never paid child support, i have no idea where he lives and i remarried 20 years ago. Havent had his last name in 25 years. So I call the number and ask this really rude woman, who would not identify the company, wtf she was doing calling my private number. She told me she didnt like my attitude and hung up on me. I called my service provider and blocked the number. Also asked how she found the number,esspecially since it has been under a new name for so many years. Of course they didnt know. Imagine that!

I received a call from an unavailable number. the person said they were an investigator named Karen Wright who was conducting an investigation out of Dallas (I live in Pa.) and that I needed to contact her in reference to a asset liability investigation. She gave me a reference number and a direct number to call her (800-214-5333). The strange thing is that she called me on my home number but also on a cell phone that is not linked to my home address so I assume that she got the name and number from some entity that I have done business with. There should be paperwork sent to me if I am involved in a liability suit.

ANN SMITHIS AT IT AGAIN, LEFT MESSAGE THAT SHE WAS GOVERMENT INVESTAGATOR AND WAS GOING TO SEND A CAR TO CHECK ME OUT.....I DO NOT OWE ANYBODY ANY MONEY AND SHE WOULD NOT TELL ME HOW SHE GOT MY TELEPHONE NUMBER  SHE IS NOTHING BUT A CROOK....DO NOT GIVE HER ANY INFORMATION

I WROTE ABOUT THIS ANN SMITH A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO...FUNNY THING, SHE TRIED IT AGAIN WITH ME AND FORGOT SHE ALREADY TALKED TO ME.  I HUNG UP AND HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM HER AGAIN.  THIS IS A SCAM, DON'T FALL FOR IT!!

Ann smith called me today and had some but not all personal information regarding a loan of mine. She stated that if I did not send her the money (19,000$) by 1:00 this afternoon she would proceed with a lawsuit. She would not tell me what company she worked for or how she got my info and she was extremely hostile and rude when I questioned her. She told me to "get a life" and refused to let me speak to anyone else. She stated that she does not work for a company. Do not giv. This lady any of your info or even speak to her. I called my loan company and they said they had no record of her or any plans for a lawsuit. I am attempting to track this person down and figure this out because she is obviously attempting something very shady for huge amounts of money. The number shows up as unknown but she gives a direct call back number of 800-214-5333 and identifies herself as "investigator Ann smith". I will update with more info soon.

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT GIVE HER THE LAST 4 DIDGETS OF YOUR SS#.  SHE WILL ALSO ASK YOU FOR YOUR DATE OF BIRTH AND WHERE YOU WERE BORN.  SHE CAN USE THIS INFORMATION TO ACCESS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION...I MADE THIS MISTAKE LAST NIGHT.  MY BROTHER, THE ATTORNEY, INFORMED ME OF THIS...GOOD LUCK!!  I'M NOT DONE WITH THIS ONE YET.

Did she ask you to set up payment arrangments or for money? Have you heard anything since?

Received a call from Ann Smith at this phone number. She was extremely rude and said that she was going to sue me and garnish my wages because of a $13,000.00 balance I owed. I've never had a loan for that amount. When I asked who it was through she said "That isn't your concern." Well, obviously it is. I pressed her further and she said that it was through Fidelity. I've never banked with them or had a loan with them. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said that "This was as high as it gets." I called Fidelity and they couldn't find my information anywhere in their system. The lady that I was speaking with called Ann back and told her that they had no records of me owing anything. Then Ann said that it was actually through Citi Auto. Funny how she changed her story. I called Citi and they didn't have me in their records.
My brother is an attorney and he said that this whole thing seems really fishy. In order for someone to sue it needs to be advertised in the paper for three weeks, the papers need to be physically served and cannot be sent through the mail, and there needs to be record of this at the district court.

Also received a call from someone identifying herself as "Investigator Ann Smith" leaving her name, call back number and a incident number stating I or my attorney should call back within the day.  Person never stated who or what company she represents nor what was the matter that needed to be discussed.

Just got a call from the "Ann Smith"... Left a msg that I should call her back refering to an "Incident #"... Either I or my attorney should call back within the day.... She has some "good news" and some "bad news".... Anyone gotten a call back and actually spoken to this person?

Been getting several voicemail messages from some lady saying if I or my attorney do not call them back on this number within the hour some legal action may occur (funny how she keeps using the same threatening language with each message).  Person calling does not identify herself or what entity she represents, or what the "legal action" might be.  What the heck is that about?
