receive constant debt collection calls from this number

They keep calling on my home phone and hang up when answered. About 3 times a week. Now they are doing it on my cell phone. This has been going on for over 2 months. Don't know who they are or what they want.

Third time this week 05/2014. Call goes to voice mail and they hang up. Once I answered not noticing it was a 800 number and they hung up on me.

Same exact story here...2-3 times a day we get calls, but no one is on the other end!

I have been getting  calls since 4/9/2014, every day and night. They don't say any thing and hang up. Up to two calls a day.

They called every single Friday the same time... it was weird because they said it was a man but sounded as a woman. They kept saying we owe them.. so we asked for a bill.. when they sent it i searched it up and one on the address was a restaurants... still weird but will put this investigation.

I got a call from this # and I arranged a 3 way call & called at&t rep. & paid my bill which I was not aware cause I moved & then never got a bill earlier sounded fishey how
ever paid my bill before it could hit my credit....

I was googling this number off a piece of junk mail I got. It's for refinancing my home. The company is: PMAC Lending Services, 15325 Fairfield Ranch Rd, Chino Hills, ca

This is an unwanted call. The number does not match the actual agency number online

I received two calls for this unidentified number - one 1/30/14 in the late afternoon/early evening and one 1/31/14 at 9:41 a.m. pacific time.  No message left although voicemail was available.  Did not return a call as if it was legitimate a message would have been left.

I keep getting phone calls from this number and usually they hang up when anyone answers. Today they said it was a recorded number and they were looking for a "Brad" to which I replied "there is no one by that name at this number."  Then they hung up.

Bay Area Credit called me too.  They say I owe $200 from two years ago .  Fortunately I kept all my statements from back then which prove I owe nothing.  I also returned their equipment -- they admit I did.  In fact I had a credit which U-Verse paid me.   I'm sending them copies of my bill.   I couldn't understand one word that Bay Area Credit person was saying.  Some crazy foreigner who could barely speak English.  

This number keeps calling and when I stay on the line and push 1 to talk to a representative the phone goes dead.  I am sure this is a scam.

They were calling for some person who has never lived at my address. I should know because I have lived here for 50 years. My AT&T bills are paid on time and are current. They said they would remove my number from their call list.

I got a call from this number claiming that it was verizon and directing me to log into a vzw814.com to redeem a cash prize to my verizon account.  It was clearly a phishing scam.

I received a call from this number @ 3:45 p.m. called ID said toll free number, when I answered they hung up.

This number keeps calling me and when I answer the caller hangs up. I feel like i'm being harassed I would like it to stop immediately.

I had the same problem with this number regarding a bill from AT&T. I check with AT&T and they requested I pay a past due amount directly to them not to Bay Area Credit. I did this in the past and several months later the company I owed $25.00 never got the money. So pay to only who you owe directly. Money is to hard to come by and doesn't come to soon in this economy.

Same here on career builder and i get a bunch of 800 numbers with credit companies and also have no outstanding bills as well

also received call w/message last week. did not listen cause it WAS a toll free number.  sounded like a little old lady leaving a faint message about something from 2010 when listened to.  Only listened `cause of real names left on two other messages left today.

I find it to be amusing to call the number back and not say a word and see how long it takes hem to hang up. It's simple, you bother me so I bother you. This entire thing is bogus but it's been funny calling them back every time they call me. I also answer their call and then not say anything. The thing that really bothers me the most is them saying a typically American name that obviously does not belong to them! Idiots!

I got a call from the same number about a past due bill with AT&T. I informed the caller that I did have an account with AT&T. He continued with asking for my social security number. I refused and asked for his name and the AT&T information. I could tell his first language wasn't English. He said his name is Ivan Campbell. Anyway I called AT&T based in the info Ivan gave me. The account numbers given were not associated with my name. Ivan gave two series of numbers neither were about me. With both Ivan and a AT&T rep on the phone, I was beyond pissed. Wasting my time with a scam.  You know companies need to stop calling from toll free/unknown numbers. If they are serious about calling and want the call answered, then reveal their name and number (same goes for call centers). By the way, the calls from this number stop... for now.

This number called me--obvious middle eastern voice saying his name was my ex husbands name. At first I thought he meant he was calling to collect his debt and then wanted me to pay $134 for debt UNKNOWN. When I asked him what his name was he repeated my ex's name again, that's when I called him A liar and hung up complete scammers.

this afternoon I got a call  from a local security company # 1-313-879-1868 and after 30 sec of silence a guy answers and says that he is peter stone from bay area credit services. I asked him for a call back number and he gives me the number of 1-800-241-6201. Knowing that when I picked up the phone it was a local number, I asked him where he was calling from and he said he was calling from Georgia.

I am fed up with these people calling. they call as late as 9 pm and now, they have figured out how to use a local caller Id program so you won't know that it is them.  I returned all my stuff to att and bay area is saying that I owe att a nice large sum of money. WRONG!!! I called att and made sure that they got there stuff back and that I don't have any outstanding bills with them. does anyone know if these people can be reported to the bbb?  has anyone reported them?  I am so fed up!!

this appears to be a shady collection agent for AT&T, it's called Bay Area Collections AT&T can not get past the FACT that when I ordered there service I was lied to repeatedly in their efforts to charge me for services I should not have been charged for their product sucks -, never worked properly, their customer service reps are actually instructed to tell lies and their equipment is overpriced and faulty, the end result I told them to stick their internet service in their butt, and for a little over 3 weeks of really poor service AT&T has insisted I pay them $349.00, I have repeatedly told AT&T I refuse to pay them anything, nothing, notta, zip, not one damn dime to a bunch of liars and cheats with a sad, non-functional service and for that AT&T has turned me over to at least  2 shady collections services, both of which claim that I should notify them (the collection agencies if I feel the bill is in error, I have already explained my sentiments to AT&T and I did not bring these contractors in I see no reason why I should acknowledge these parasite companies any further...
