you sound like a dick. I didn't make a purchase at Lane Bryant and don't appreciate getting automated calls on my personal cellphone while I'm at work.
Just Me 2013-06-25 19:14:46 Unknown
I got a recorded message from this number a few minutes ago. It says that a person in my household made a purchase from Lane Bryant, and asked if I would give feedback online about that store visit. I did make a purchase there and have their credit card, so it is pretty much a legit call. It also gave information on how to stop future calls.

This is an automated call from Lane Bryant. No harm.
Toni 2013-06-24 19:42:50 Unknown
Lane Bryant recorded message telling you about the sale.

Thank you for defending Amy. It was kind and thoughtful.
Jane 2013-02-19 17:15:03 Unknown
I did not give my phone number since I ordered online for my mom so I think they may have crossed reference it with the street address. I did call the number back and selected option #2 to cancel future calls. I believe Lane Bryant will take me off the list. They are a reputable company.

Hateblogs, What you said to Amy just sounded rude. (WAS RUDE) get over yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the recording comes on they give you a number to call to opt out of the calls. It's not like they call all the time, maybe once a month.

Checked my call log and they called yesterday at 2:54pm while I was at the gym and running errands. I used to shop at Lane Bryant but their clothes are too large for me and the styles are kind of not professional enough for me. I am not dressing as a slightly slutty teenager. I used to like their bras but they discontinued the only one I liked. I haven't had any relationship to them for over five years.

I do NOT want any of these people calling me at all!
Coffeenrvs 2011-12-15 20:29:26 Event Reminder
The reason so many people who don't shop at Lane Bryant get these calls,is probably because people, who are asked when shopping,if they would like to get reminder calls about sales, give wrong the wrong number. Intentionally,or accidently...people also change numbers & don't notify every company they do business with! If these calls aren't for you, just opt out! They are not a scam! I'm pretty sure that reporting them to the "Do Not Call List" won't do any good, since, even if you didn't give them your number...someone did!

The only thing that irritates me about all these calls -- AND THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE INCREASE --- is that they DON'T identify themselves, so I have to google the number to make sure it wasn't something important that needed my attention. To date, it never has been.
They don't identify themselves because I guess they figure you'd ignore their call, but by NOT identifying themselves, that's what the majority of people do.
If you're so important, tell me who you are ---OTHERWISE I WILL NEVER ANSWER.
Call back this one and then press 2 so they remove your number...no biggy.
Merry Christmas Everyone :)

It was just Lane Bryant with info on their current sale. Luckily it's one of the less annoying phone calls I get. Hey! 50% off the entire store ain't bad! ; )
TK 2011-08-17 17:42:08 Unknown
Thanks for posting the info - I was able to call back, click number "2" and be removed from the list. Fantastic :)

I wasn't home so I had to check the answering machine, I gave them my number when I shop at the Lane Bryant outlet and they leave messages telling me when a sale is going on. I don't mind it, they were telling me about there semi annual bra sale, now is the time I buy.

I called this number back and it was from Capital One. Looks like a legit number.
hateblogs 2011-05-24 18:00:06 Unknown
Yep I found that whistle too!! It definitely works!
hateblogs 2011-05-24 17:59:01 Unknown
Amy, let me guess.... You are a size 4 and below? That's why you don't like this company calling you
Lindsay 2011-01-13 17:59:05 Unknown
When they put you on the list, they ask you at the time,,,do you want us to call you and remind you. if you said yes they are going to call you. you asked you got it.
Acacia 2010-12-20 19:46:33 Event Reminder
You only get these calls when you opt to get them. You can cancel the calls at any time. Answer the phone and follow the directions to be removed from the list.
Anonymous Annie 2010-12-20 18:58:25 Unknown
Very disappointed. Do not appreciate the phone calls.
Boise 2010-09-30 21:53:55 Unknown
Just call the number back and hit 2 to get removed from their calling list.
JavaMan 2010-09-30 21:20:08 Unknown
A good reason is because there are so many telemarketing calls and I am on the no call list. I get a large amount of these callers that don't say anything yet call you many times a day. I pay the phone bill to conduct my business. I do not buy over the phone.
Mike 2010-08-24 21:46:11 Unknown
This number keeps calling here and there. I always let it go to the answering machine, and I never get a message. Lol
Judy H 2010-08-24 18:29:54 Unknown
These calls are from a womens clothing store. You can opt out of calls by hitting redial, then select option "2".

This site cracks me up...there are so many anger issues out...why people get so anger of a company calling to talk about sales going on...if you dont shop there...take it in as oh ok thanks I will pass it along to someone who might want to know. Our society is so negative its unbelieveable...why are we all so anger about..what happened to the good ol' days of helping our neighbors or companys out...and everyone wants to blame the govt...its so funny...turn your negative into a positive...instead of getting mad and anger..just take in...pass it along and then call and kindly ask for your name to be removed...no reason to be do everything in anger...your day and you life will so much more less stressful...plus when you do something good for others it will make you feel better too...pay something forward...that would be kindness...

I just called the Lane Bryant store near me, I asked if they were truly calling people for "business'
Yes they are!
To opt out of calls I was given this number
1-800-995-5049 a recording will announce "to opt out of calls" press 1 then it is announced that you are out...
I am on 2 no call lists one in my State, and one via FCC National...I do not understand this since the are given a list of "DO NOT CALL"
However they persisted in doing it anyway...I have NEVER done business with Lane Bryant

Ok, so I come to this site all the time to check out unknown phone numbers but this it kind of silly. Sometime, somewhere in your past you have shopped at one of the chains listed several times in this thread. When you did, they asked for your phone number and your zip code and you gave it to them. It may not have been Lane Bryant, but you did give them your number. Sorry, but it is easily resolved by ANSWERING the phone and selecting the number that takes you off the list.
