Got a call from 1-800-215-7849 on Saturday, 9/19/08.  This is a collection agency for medical bills and is based in the western Chicago sururbs.  They say they are "helping" when all they are doing is "fishing" for information.  Don't bite!!!!!  Our item is in dispute with University Hospitals, d.b.a. UH Case Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio.  This agency can't find any information on invoices, bills, etc.  All they know is collect, collect, collect whether you owe or not!!!!

It's the Willis Knighton billing department, usually returning your call (an automated thing calls you, then if you pick up, they tell you who they are and get your date of birth, etc., for HIPAA reasons.).

Oh my bad. It's just an automated number for billing, then someone calls you back from your local place I guess. They were able to work out payments with me on a bill I owed. Didn't realize it wasn't just local.

has left a message several times (sounds like a recorded message as message started in middle of sentence) stating he is from "advocacy personal liaisons" and has an important matter to discuss, to call back.  I have no outstanding overdue debts.

Received several calls from this number but can't identify the hospital that they say they are calling from.  Woman spoke very quickly and not clearly.  I listen to the message several times.

Negative.  When they called me, their ID was University Hospitals, Cleveland Ohio.  We got an erroneous bill, dated 8/4/08, for a wrong date of medical service, details mailed on the 11th and called on the 19th to collect the same!

THAT NUMBER IS FROM THE FINANCIAL OFFICE FOR GOOD SAMARITAN

I think this an agency collecting medical debts. I called them and they did not properly identify their business or their location.
