They call me several times a day. I am fed up, I do not know what they want from me. I do not owe any money to ANYONE.
They neve leave a message. I am going to talk to my attorney. This called Harassment...

They called my cell # and asked to speak with my son. She asked me to take a msg I said I've got the # it's on my caller id. Told her don't hold your breathe my son won't b calling you back. I hung up.

Got a call at my home phone from gold star key and they would not give me any info...I called them back on a cell.

These people are a collection agency that lies. They called me late at night and early in the morning claiming I owed them money for a bill that was already paid directly to the hospital. They were very rude and the woman started to insult me saying that it was my problem, that I can't pay my bills and that she was going to report me to a credit reporting agency.
She started to yell at me and threaten me.

Really for a bill that I had already paid? These people are con artist!!!

These are the most rude people I have ever dealt with. Looking over my credit report and cleaning it up. I contact Gold Key requesting copies of 2 bills have under them. The representative Gary was so rude, I have paid numerous bills off in the past 2 weeks trying to clean up my credit; just wanted to make sure that I haven't already paid it. He kept saying you haven't, I said how would you know if I just paid some 2 weeks ago and the dollar amounts match. He said just pay the bills, I said I will not go any further until you send me a copy of each bill. He informed me that he will put a note in my account of refusal of paying the bills. I DIDN"T REFUSE ANTYHING!!! then he hung up on me!!!!! KEEP IN MIND, I CALLED YOUR COMPANY, SO OBVIOUSLY I'M NOT REFUSING TO PAY FOR ANYTHING JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE ITS MY BILL AND IT DOESN'T BELONG TO ANYONE ELSE.(I have disputed at least 10 that didn't belong to me, they belonged to my 21 yr old daughter which she is responsible for her and they have been removed from my credit)

A LITTLE ADVICE TO GOLD KEY, PLEASE TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE IN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE PROPERLY. YOU GET MORE BEES WITH HONEY THAN SALT. CHECK YOUR PEOPLE ATTITUDES

Getting calls for this number without leaving message,then when answer want my personal information which I will not give out

For me they ask me to verify my personal information and when I refuse become very rude and will not tell me who they are except to say its a personal business matter. I do accounting and I know there is no personal business matter that requires my social and birth date. Also, I do not have business with this company and anything in collections will be on my credit report. They ARE NOT!! The link above also did not work for me to report them and I have had enough! This has been going on for a year!

They called me also - did not identify themselves - 1st thing they wanted was my birthday - of course I did not give it to them since I did not know who I was talking with and they mumbled something and hung up . By the way I am not in debt - so perhaps this is a scam also - why else would you not identify yourself ?

I have received repeated phone calls from this company over about a 3-4 month time span. They have the wrong number for a debt they're trying to collect from someone else, and I have made repeated attempts to have them remove my phone number from their system, all unsuccessful. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and am in the process of filing a complaint with the State Attorney Genera's office. I don't even know how many times I've told them to lose my number to be honest - it's been at least 15 times I am going to guess. I have had the same number for about 10 years now. I should not have to change my phone number because a rink-a-dink company such as Gold Key Credit cannot abide by the "cease and desist" language I have provided them. All I want is my phone number to be removed from their system. I AM NOT JEANETTE MOWERS!!!!

see gold key is a collection agency that is being in the times they dont follow state laws or just dont know them for example they leave messages on voice mail at pob in ny cant do that they call texas on a dialer before noon on the weekend cant do that besides that fact that they call cell phones with a automated dialer they just have so many things that they do wrong and what makes it even more shameful is the collection manager has no clue and either does her supervisor. I find it very entertaining that ms brown can sit there and say that she will hit your credit report twice a month every month till your score is zero and how much damage she will do to it she cant tell how much damage if any because she dosent know I have delt with them before on two seperate times the first time was a nightmare and then I learned and read  The second time I was ready and sw the nicest person there Emily Evans understanding and willing to work with me and understood my position the team there is a joke if you have to deal witth them record your call and have a lawyer on stand by you will make a mint from suing them. dont let them push you around call the physicians group and complain  enough complaints will cause them to lose business and shut down

800 218 3280 keeps calling here asking for Chris. My name is listed in the phone directory with my first name as C. and my last name. There is no Chris here, never has been. My name is not Chris, Christopher or Christine. I have a very common last name. Do they just look names up in the phone book with the same initials and harass people at random. They have supposedly taken me off their list, Several times. But , they started calling again for Chris. This is going on two years now. Do I Have To Change MY Name????

Got the call.  They wanted to verify my address which I had no problem with.  Wanted my date of birth which I refused to give.  Then wanted the last 4 of my SS number.  I said no.  I said that since I didn't know who this was she should tell me first and then I would verify.  She said she couldn't due to federal regulations.  When I asked why not, she said she couldn't verify it was me.  Since she wouldn't tell me what it was in reference to, I said I guess we're done.  She then said she was going to write in the report that I refused to give info.  I then said you can't verify it's me so I will deny any issues with the report.  I never knew what it was in reference to and will continue to deny that we ever spoke.  THEY LOSE>

Well I hope that you get in an auto accident and end up with a brain injury like I did and let the doctor yank you out of work, while you're begging him not to...vertigo also set in and I could not walk and since I work with foster children and take them many places I could not drive...that is how I got behind...took 3 years to get through this...oh, by the way...have paid off my debt except one...which I have paid almost all of this one except they put an additional $600.00 on it in charges...so no, we are not deadbeats...hard working people who get put in situations sometimes....so back off!

I think that is horrible of you to say...you don't know anyone's situation to say this...I was in a auto accident and ended up with a brain injury...also taken out of work by my doctor me begging him not too...many times over because vertigo also attacked me! I wanted to pay but could not at the time...have since then and paid off all except one...this credit card I had, had a credit spent of $500.00...The collection agency said that I owed $1,125.00...I have paid $450.00 on it...how do they get away with that much in interest? To me this is a scam!

Or maybe just pay your bills and you wouldn't have to worry about any of that.

I just got a call from these people, im pretty sure its a scam since before the lady could give meany information she asked for my name, adress and last four of my social. when i told her i didnt feel comfortable just giving that information out, she said the calls will continue an havea nice day then hung up. every morning I get a call from 800 218 3280 asking for a person who doesn't live here and again in the afternoon three or four times a day, when you tell them that the person doesn't live there they then want to know my name...I TELL THEM NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS THEY DIDN'T ASK FOR ME but the will ask again what my name is.

If your a professional collector you should know that by just talking to debt collectors you start the clock all over again. Every state in the USA as statutory limits on the amount of years a debt remains on the books. What to do? When a number calls, especially 800 numbers simply let it ring. Do a web search for that number you see on your caller ID. Results in most cases, a debt collector it calling.

Another thing and the most important thing you can do even if you have the best health care provider in the world...NEVER EVER Sign the box on documents you sign at any and all medical facilities that holds you responsible PERSONALLY. There are no laws that say you have to sign personally for the purpose of your health provider falling short of paying for medical procedures according to treatment fee schedules given and doctor fees. What I do is, I write in that box where my signature is required is; "I decline". works all the time. no one has ever checked or noticed I signed it...that way.

Your asking for trouble when ever you give out your Social Security Number. There is no law that says you have to in any state. Payment for medical procedures are in the form of your ID card as given to you by your health care provider, nothing more should be given out. If you must.....ooops I changed or transposed one of the last four digit SS numbers.

Debt collectors do purchase debt for pennies on the dollar. DO NOT take the call! Every state has statue of limitations on debt, know yours. If you take the call you (in most states) start the clock all over again. If they call don't answer. If they leave a message write down the number and look it up on your computer "Google it"

Remedy:
Be smart - Contact each of the three credit score agencies by letter and challenge any debt put on your account. 99% of the time debt collectors are unable to validate debts they purchase. By law debt collectors have 30 days to validate any debt. If they can't validate the debt you have the right to have debt collectors removed from your credit score immediately after the 30 days are up.  

Tip:  Are you aware that you DO NOT have to sign a personally guaranty of payment above what your healthcare provider will pay on claims? Sure medical facilities hand you these documents (if your not informed, or smart) to make you sign it on a voluntary basis. NEVER SIGN IT.  Emergency room visits, surgery, blood tests etc. Anything that requires you to submit your healthcare insurance coverage, NEVER SIGN IT. You don't have to sign it and they know it! By not signing personally,  medical facilities can only collect what ever your health insurance will cover, that's it.. Not a penny more.  Look over every document they hand you. Look for the words ?personal guaranty of payment?. Often times you will find these sneaky little paragraphs mixed in something like a patients bill of rights form. You can strike the paragraph and initial it should it be mixed in with a simple registration form. What I do is write the words "I decline" or ?I Do Not Personally Guaranty Payment? over or above that paragraph, then sign my name with the days date. 1 out of 4 bankruptcies in the USA are caused by medical debt? because people sign the personally guaranty of payment. NEVER SIGN IT.  And never give them your SS#, NEVER

These people are definitely harrassing me I feel like they have nothing better to do what country are they from they sound foreign.

This company is so bad it's not funny.. I just got a call from them, and they play at sounding like they are following the law.. saying that this call is being recorded.. am I speaking to so & so and ofcouse mispronouncing both names!! I said yes.. and she wanted me to give her the last 4 numbers of my social securty # .. heck no!! I don't know you from Adam.. and I am not giving my number out.. I told her  not to call my number again..lets see if that works.. but odds are, they will use a diffent number and diffent name.. but its them.. I wouldn't mind if they used there brain and told me what this was all about.. then would figoure out if I owed or not..odds are I don't but.. to demand my personal id # so she can be sure she has the right person.. come on people.. what happened to commone sence!!!!!

My husband got a call from this number and he verfied his info on the cell like dob, ssn and address. We dont have any medical bills. We are scared if our identity has been stolen. What to do?
