They left me this phone number in my mail box and told me to call a "Mr. Ward" right away.

This appears to be a scam to sell phone number identification information. I get the same calls as the woman described above. But guess what, if I pay $4.95, I can find out who it is. I think I have discovered who it is for a cheaper price - FREE. Scamo!!

I have received a message on my answering machine from 800-219-6227, National Action Financial Services stating that I need to call them back regarding an issue on their desk for a past debt (I have none). When I returned the call to clarify this, I again received a machine and left a message. Later the same day I answered my phone to yet another recorded message stating to call Daniel Lynch at 866-265-5244 regarding a past due debt. Again, I have NO past debts and after reviewing the other comments am convinced it is a complete scam. I will not attempt to contact them to straighten anything out at this point.

Received 1/2 of a recorded message from a service telling me that I will be receiving written communication from them regarding a financial matter and to address it before they do something.

I received a call from this number stating that I needed to provide information about a claim. I called back and couldn't even leave a message since the mailbox was full.

I just got another call and spoke to a Jeremy Perry saying that I owed $97 for a credit card account. I called my bank and I don't owe anything AT ALL! I called them back and Mr. Perry said I owed that amount that matched some social security number that wasn't mine. He then told me I didn't have anything to worry about.

These phone calls just started for me and we have no outstanding debts. I called back the number and they said all of their operators were busy. Sure sounds like a scam to me, so I went online and found this info from other people. I feel lucky not to have contacted anyone. I refuse to give out my personnal info.

I have been getting these calls for over a month now and I am getting more mad with each message. I have called back twice at first and told them to stop the calls they were a scam and I would take further action. They got angry with me and told me they would continue to bother me until I gave them the information they wanted. FAT CHANCE IDIOT!!!!! I have reported to the FTC, which I encourage you all to do. Stop these scamming idiots now!

A woman keeps calling - sounds like a recording- telling us that we have a financial discrepancy and should get in touch with them to settle it. This has been going on for over a month.

I have received numurous calls from Jeremy Perry at above number. I have requested he stops calling and asked what business he is calling for. I get no answer other than unless he hears from my son who I do not hear from he will continue to call. I feel I have a right to know what company he is calling from so I can report harrassement to them.
| Renee' 2009-03-12 15:38:56 Unknown |
I have also received daily calls from this number, telling me it is an urgent matter. I have called back and Jeremy Perry is looking for my son. He no longer lives here and I have asked him not to call. He will not give any additional information like what company he his calling from. I understand he has a job to do but when told person is no longer living here and I do not have contact with that person he states he will quit calling when my sons calls him. I feel this is harrasement and my understanding is once I tell them I do not have contact with the person they are looking and request no more calls that request is to be followed. ****** This is ridiculous*****

We are getting the same caller from who leaves a recorded message saying it is a debt collection. Can someone tell me what the caller, who is obviously a scam, gets out of making these calls? I am wondering if it is to get people to sign up for the $4.95 or whatever price that some of the phone number identification sites are charging??

I received a voicemail on my cell from a George Damus, leaving a number of 800-219-6227 x3187. I called the number back and George was unavailable, so I spoke to another rep (Simon I believe). They of course wanted me to pay them in full, which I am unable to do, but I said that I am working through a credit counceling service to pay off the debt I owe. He said that they are unable to work with councelors. He left it at that. I received a call from George later on, and I told him the same thing. At this point he became very rude and said that they will "process" this. As I was asking him to not call me at my work number anymore, he hung up on me.

Received a message on my machine yesterday and then the same call today regarding an Urgent Matter that involves someone in my house. When I daled the number back. I was given to a Mr. Schwartz who informed me that he was trying to reach a former NEIGHBOR! I asked him why they would be calling my home in such a matter. I was not a family member, nor the person or anyone in the house involved and I was told... ok, are you ready? "How would we know that?"...And then hung up. Essentially, they are canvassing our neighborhood with calls to find someone with a current address for someone who moved two years ago. It is not your responsibility to give info to anyone regarding a third party! I think Mr. Schwartz is an alias the way he is getting around.

Regarding a "CHASE" account, past due.
Flustered because we had recently had some financial difficulties (Christmas, you know) and missed a payment, I thought it was related. Gave a check number over the phone. Went home to investigate further, found that my CHASE account was OK. However, I did have a CHASE account that was discharged in bankruptcy. I am canceling the check with my bank now until I straighten this out. The name I got was "Lisa" and the phone number they gave was 800-219-6227 x3221

She then put me through to a Mr. Schwartz who was actually looking for my ex-husband. (8 yrs divorced) The man had my ph# but my ex-mother-in-laws address. ?????? Beware!!!!

A Mr. Schwartz keeps calling from this number looking for my son, who does not live with me. I consider these calls harrassment, since I have no business with this person. I don't give out other peoples phone numbers, and I'm not an answering service. They shouldn't be able to harrass relatives and neighbors of individuals they are trying to communicate with.
