I hope people will read this...I'll be honest..I was hired by this company when they were in orlanda, fl..they were shut down there by the attorney generals office and were required to pay around 100k in fees. They then up and moved to atlanta to the circle 75 parkway but since have moved but are in that same area. The real masterminds of this scheme are not the people you have listed. those people do play a part in the scheme but the real names people need to focus on are the owners who call ALL the shots and profit the most by far are Kara Adams and her drugged up almost husband Jason Eyer. They are right now being investigated by the state of fl and will be in jail soon. The state of fl is still building a case against them and are waiting for the time to strike. I had a friend who actually was called by Fl to testify against them and give information. They dont care your # is on the DNC list. they will continue to call u back until they are either shut down or in jail where they belong. I will try and get some phone numbers of the owners so you all can call them as they call you. I'm so sorry they are doing this..i know its horrible..please post comments if u have question about these two people.

I love this site! Thanks for helping me discover who is harrassing me.  First I learned about 323-315-7324 now it's 800-219-7425. Two different type of telemarketers, I think. They keep calling my cell phone but never leave a message. I will not sign up for anymore "free stuff" or contest online. The extended warranty people are the worst! The next time I gonna tell them that I have 7 taxis, 2 buses, 3 limos and an icecream truck.....which one expired?? LOL.....(thanks Ken Santarelli)

I've been called by this operation incessantly for the past year. I have copied Jack's very helpful post here and posted it to my blog, with a link to this page as well.  I think it's probably worth trying to propagate that information as far and wide as possible, so people start realizing that they can do something about it, and with enough complaints, hopefully these guys will get raided and shut down.  Ideally, anyone doing a Google search for "car warranty about to expire" should get some hits with this information.

Yup, that was the same scammer that called here on tracfone.   Called them on skype and got the ubiquitous "number out of order" message.  Interesting as few people have this number, period, andit is not listed in any book.

Third call with a 'final warning on my car warranty' this week.  I don't even own a car.  Pressing #1 generated no useful information other than the guy who answered said he worked in a call center in Atlanta, GA.

I was called at 3pm on Dec. 17, 2008 for the third time.  I missed the 1st call, answered the 2nd and asked to be removed from the list when I spoke to a 'representative'.  That was around 8pm last night.  I answered the 3rd call, and  pressed 1 to speak to a 'representative' again, but the line rang for 2 minutes with no answer.  I hung up and tried to call back, but an automated message said the number was not in service.

How to reduce the inconvenience of these calls on some phones:

To those who have a phone with the capability of creating/selecting your own ring-tones, you can minimize the inconvenience of these repeating spam calls...

Set up these phone numbers in your phone book. Then associate either a distinctive ring-tone with each number, one that does NOT play for any legitimate incoming call. Alternatively, you can make your own ring-tone that consists of NO noise...a silent ring-tone as it were.

This way when a call comes from one of these spam numbers, either the distinctive ring-tone plays and you know to ignore the call, or if you set up a "silent" ring-tone, you aren't even bothered when these repeat calls come in...in effect, your phone doesn't "ring".

In my case I created an mp3 file that consisted of complete silence and assigned each of these scam phone numbers to that mp3 file as the ring-tone for those numbers. So now when they call my phone, the display turns on and displays the callerID info (although we already know it's spoofed), but I'm not bothered with any "ringing". So if the phone is in my pocket, I don't even know a call came in and it doesn't interrupt anything I might be doing.

It's not quite the same as "call blocking" but it's the next best thing.
Note: you may have to change the numbers from time to time as these companies may have multiple "spoof" callerID phone numbers, or may change them from time to time. There is an easily obtained electronic device that lets a caller create fake callerID info and that is probably what these companies are using. For example, using this callerID spoofing device they could make an incoming phone call show up in your phone display as actually coming from YOUR own phone if they wanted to. Evil people.

Good luck!

This was an automated message saying that my car warranty has expired and that I need to call them to re-instate it.
Since I don't have a car warrantee I'd like to know WHERE they got my number?
This is the THIRD time they have called and the number that shows up on the caller ID is not valid.
I hope someone can shut these jerks down soon!
