Was in a pharmacy.  Got the call while at the window.  The connection was weak, but the accent was unintelligible to my native ear.  Just hung up.  Figured it was a scam.

I received  a call from a Indian guy at 9.16am and it was from a unavailable number, couldn't really understand the guy, offered me like two 25.00 gift cards, and a free trip with hotel stay, but couldn't understand what hotels, said was usable for up to 2 months with airplane tickets. I said sorry but I don't have a credit/debit card at the moment, that has or would have money on it, he said it is okay it wont get charged until you receive package, and  he stated that he wouldnt be asking for the code off the back of my card. I ended up having to repeat myself several times to get him to like understand that i am not at all a card holder of any kinda, then he finally said okay goodbye lol and hung up on me.....loser..... :S

I get calls from this number all the time and they never leave a message.

I just got a call from this number....I actually answered the phone this time they called. I wanted to know who was always hanging up on my machine! They call all of the time. Today when I answered the Indian man said that I had won a $50.00 card for anywhere I wanted because I was a valued customer  at their establishment. I asked which "establishment" I had supposedly shopped at and he could not tell. He was very presistant and kept asking for my name and address. I would think he already knew it since I was a valued customer???? No, he is a scammer. I told him he must be really stupid if he thinks that I would willing give him, a complete stranger, my information when he never even told me what company he worked. He gave me the name Select Benefit Services. I told him to hang on a second while I googled the company and his number. He got really mad and said it didnt matter because I didnt have his phone yet.....DUH, it was on the caller ID. I told him he should look up the number he called from and see what everyone is saying about his effing dip-s*** a**! He started screaming profanity at me and I just laughed and laughed until he got so mad he hung up. We should all ban together and keep calling him like he does us OVER AND OVER AND OVER!! LOSER!

Some times I just mess with these guys.  13 minutes today.  I got spare time.  
$25 gift card for $1.95 S/H.  I told him to send me $23 and we'll call it even, Heck I'd even take $20 and he could keep the 3 bucks for himself.  No dice.  He seemed like such a nice fellow.  SCAMMER

A lady with a foreign accent just called said I won a 25 dollar gift card and she needed to verify my credit card number and expiration date. I told her no, you can give me my credit card number and I would verify it, but she said no she would loose her job. I hung up and tried calling the number back, but it went to vm. I did not give her any info, but I am concerned if they actually have my credit card number.This is a scam, please beware.

I got a call today from the same number but hung up after he said a few words, was afraid it was the same person that sent me a letter last week about winnings, kept calling me to follow through, finally threthened me so I called our sherriff dept.  He said it was a nigerian scam, just keep hanging up. The officer was very nice.

I got call from this number 2 times today. First time I didnt pick up and there was no msg, 2nd time I picked up but couldn't understand what he said and he hung up immediately.

Answered this number earlier....Indian man with a realllly thick accent. Same thing, something about free this and gift cards, etc. I cut him off and said "I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST". He just sat there like a jack*** so I hung up. This number has been calling for weeks now and next time I answer I am going to say "Agent so and so, FBI phone scam division, how may I help you?"....lol

I received a call Tuesday Jan 10 from this number... I ended up hanging up on them... So Wednesday Jan 11 they called and said that it was from a homeless shelter saying that they were in the area taking donations (clothing) asked if I was willingly to leave anything outside my home for them to pick up... I gave them my address and a woman called back and confirmed my address minutes later the number called back telling me to kiss him that he was outside my door and saying he I lived alone... He was saying some very scary things to me... which made me call the police department.. I have a investigation going on to stop this number from contacting and victimizing people if you would like to write a statement about your experience and make these people stop calling and harassing people please come forward with your statement against them...  victimof1800@yahoo.com thank you so much for your time...

Received a call from this number this evening.  Caller said he represented U S Select Benefits.  Claimed for my loyalty to various stores (making purchases), that I had been chosen to receive a $50 Visa card, but only had to pay the $2.95 shipping and handling. DING, DING, DING....... sounded too good to be true - aka classic scam.  Wanted my Visa card number, but had my name and mailing address already.  First person on the phone had such a thick accent he was almost unintelligible, his alleged supervisor was not much better (suspected Indian or Pakistanni), but kept insisting that if I did not give him the CVV code, he could not use the card for any other transaction - yeah right!.  Very relentless in pushing for the CC info.  Going to report it to the Indiana Attorney Generals Office as a telemarketing scam.

Keep getting calls from this #,  It started yesterday afternoon and I got one this morning they (he/she)
of course aren't leaving any messages but when I tried to call back at this # I got nothing but a beeping sound! If even that.....  I glad to know Im not the only one.....s

I have gotten about 50 phone calls from this number in the past 2 days. The first time they called my husband answered the phone. There was a man with a thick indian accent on the other end of the line. He said he was calling because we had won a free $50 gift card for any restaurant we wanted. We only had to pay $2.95 to get the card. My husband played along with the guy knowing it was a scam. He asked for a credit card to make the charge of $2.95 to. My husband gave him an old debit card number (with all the info for it) that was expired and already canceled out. The man also asked for his name and address (he gave him a fake address). We got another call, and my husband clicked over to the other line. He went and hung up and they called back immediately. My husband continued to play along and eventually just hung up on the guy. I then answered the phone the next time he called and I told him, he was not home and had just stepped out the door and would be home later. He questioned me if he would be back in about 10 mins and I told him I was unsure. The indian guy called back again about an hour later asking for my husband (who never left the house!) and I told him he wasn't home and I was unsure when he would return. He started to get mouthy with me and was telling me very rudely that it was very important that he talked with him ASAP and that if he didn't anyone could take his money. I than yelled at the guy and said "Really are you that F'ing stupid to think that you could scam us? You are retarded because you are the one who is taking the "money" and the credit card number we gave you is a FAKE number" I then hung up. He didn't call back until about 2 hours later. My husband talked to him at that time playing along with his games. Since then they have called back a bunch of times. The last time they called I answered and the guy said his name was John and was calling from WalMart. I told him he was stupid and to stop calling my house or I was going to call the police and hung up. Hopefully that will get them to stop calling.

Received call also with no message left.

I got the vouchers routine.  He asked for my wife and started asking me if my current address was still ******  (which it was-meaning he had my address) Because of His accent I asked him where he was located.  He said "The U.S."  I asked where He said "Florida" I asked the name of his organization and he said it was Services Benefits. He started asking more questions but then asked if I was interested in $50.00 vouchers or not?  I told him I wasn't interested in giving out my personal information over the phone to someone who wouldn't tell me more about who he is or works for.  He hung up.   I pray no one falls for his scam.  Now I have to double check to make sure he isn't trying to steal our identities...

Got a call from a man with an accent saying that I won a 500.00 grocery card. All I had to do was pay for the processing fee which was 2.95 from my visa debit. I gave him the number from a visa gift card and he didnt want that. I told him thats the only form of payment I was going to do so he said he was going to connect me with customer service and the same person can back on the phone trying to get my debit card number.I hung the phone up to call the number back to see was going to answer it and a answer machine picked up but he called me back asking again for my visa number but I just hung the phone up . I wish these type of peoples can get in trouble for calling trying to scam .

this phone number called me a few times in one day so i decided to call the number back and a lady answered with a Indian accent saying "may i help you" i told her i was returning a call and she says "oh yes it was to inform you that you have won free gas vouchers, and that means you can get gas without money coming out of your pocket" i laughed and said no thank you and hung up. i continued to get calls from this number and i finally answered it and this time it was a man with a indian accent saying he was with a debt collection agency and the wierd thing about it was he knew my name, he was asking me to verify my home address i asked him what debt he was calling about and he told me he couldn't tell me that until i answered his questions i wouldn't answer him and kept asking him questions he started to get mad and i hung up.

Got a call from an illegible man cclaiming that I won 500 worth of gas credits.  All I need to do is pay 2.95 for handling charge.  I told him no dice.  You guys are scammers.  He put me on hold and then a manager came on the line and said they dont charge the card, they just use it to verify my identity, and they dont want the three digit security number on the back, so I am safe.  I said okay, and gave them a fake 16 digit credit card number.  He then asked for the expiration date, so I obliged him with another fake one.  He said hold on.  He came back and said he cant verify my identity because this number is declined.  I said, I thought you werent going to charge it.  He said, just trying to get an authorization.,  I said you are full of s***, and a scammer.  He hung up.  Then I got a call from an unknown number asking for dumb bi***.  He said can I speak to dumb bi*** .  I said speaking.  He said he is going to kill my entire family.  I said are you seriuosly threatening a retired Federal agent?  He said f*** you bi***, I kill your hole famiwy. He hung up.  so I called the police to report the number and the death threat.  Sure enough while on the phone with police, he called back, I connected us three way call, how convenient, he started cussing again and threatenend to kill my family again, this time with police listening.  THe cop interrupted him and identified himself, and the chicken s*** hung up.  The police are going to investigate this further.

Got a call from that number and was told I won $200 voucher for being such a good credit card customer. She had an Indian accent. Said I used my card multiple times at their affiliate gas stations, department stores and hotels. They wanted my credit card number for shipping and handling to send the voucher. I told them that I cancelled my card a year ago. They then asked if there was someone in the family who could let me use their card! I told them I didn't appreciate that and to remove me from the calling list. She was slightly argumentive. Twisted my words when I tried to repeat her "request".

Just got a call from 800-219-7809.  Indian-sounding man gave me a line about receiving some gift card, asked for my name. Foolishly, I played along and said my name. He asked for it again and I gave it again in a loud, stern, aggravated voice--connection went dead.  Hope I didn't give him what he wanted. Anybody have any advice?

i had got a call from this number today but did not leave mess. so i just wanted to see it was so i called but it was busy.

Same thing here, except they asked me to verify my home address...after spilling out my address...I didn't verify anything...asked them a bunch of questions, they identified themselves as "mobile support direct" or some stupid crap like that...ended up hanging up on them...maybe they won't call back.

Caller ask to speak to owner of phone<immediatlly got mad at the indian speaken a***ole and cused him and hung up.must have made him made because he called back 3 times cussing me

i just got a call from 8002197809.They wanted my card information,I told them no, so they told me that it was for a gift of $200 dollars for gas. They wanted to give me in return for shopping so much. they said all  we need is your card number .I told them why! just send it through mail. they said that's correct we are sending it through mail,but we need for you to pay $2. through your account.That smell fishy . I told them well let me discuss this with my husband they told me it's nothing to worry about,please! i promise,this is true. i just told good-bye. and hang up . I CALLED BACK AND THE # IS ONLY BEEPING..... ITS NOT A WORKING #. BE CAREFUL!!

Got 3 another calls this morning. Didn't answer and no voicemail left. I'm going to answer the next call and hopefully these people will stop calling!!!

They called a couple of hours ago and I just turn on the fax machine and let them enjoy. I'm tired of DNC which started more calls than we ever had before signing up with them and can only stop the ringing with the fax machine. It's sad you have to buy or use items to stop this - I have a phone line that I PAY for and being bothered for scams is annoying. The fact that they (scammers) are allowed to block names within this day of technology and the FTC won't help unless it is such a massive problem and they can actually track these scammers down leaves us to deal with this problem.

Have been noticing this number on my phone several times per day but never a message.  The last two times they have called, I actually answered it but no one answered on the other end.  Eventually the phone goes dead.

I just a nice Indian man named "Jim" that told me the same thing. He wanted my CC info so he can charge me $2 to send me a $25 gift card.... He was confused as to why I wouldnt give it to him.

An Indian man just called from this #, saying he was with AT & T and that I had won $200 in free gas due to my good credit.  All I had to pay was $2.00 for shipping.    I told him I was not interested and told him to have a nice day.  He continued to talk so I hung the phone up.  He called right back and said Ms. Smith, I called you back to tell you I am with the credit card company and prove to you that I am on the level.  Don't you realize that everythime you shop on the internet or in a department store I have asscess to your account.  I could have just as easily cahrged the $2.00 to your account and mailed the gas vouchers to you and you would have never known.  I proceeded to tell him, that I do not have a debit or credit card.   He then questioned my statement, saying are you telling me you do not have a credit card.  Well what about your husband.  I then told him that neither of us have a card, that we pay cash for everything, then he hung up on me.

Got a call from 800-219-7809. in the evening at 6:33 PM. I missed the call and later looked it up... no caller id. no other information. i am putting them on my ban list.
