i just got a call fm joseph garner and he said that i had chargers on me and if i would pay 2640 that they would drop it and they got all my info.i dnt no what 2 do

I too have been contacted by a Tony Scott, Jacob Matthews, Henry Scott and Christopher Watkins all stating that I am being sued for an unpaid cash advance loan.  I have contacted the FBI, SSI, and the At Generals office about this and filed a complaint.

They just started calling me.

I have gotten phone calls from this number today, now my 2 daughters are getting calls from this number. He says he works for a lawyer and he claims he has a judgment against my social security number and if my lawyer or I do not return his call, I will be in trouble and he always ends the message with "good luck". He says his name is Paul White. He used to call me before from 646-727-9350 and he said his name then was Chris Wright. Other numbers he has used are 876-391-5336, 876-404-6646, 910-265-7060. I called the police and they told me to put it on the internet as fraudulent calls.

i GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER FROM A JOSEPH MORGAN. I did do a pay day loan back when I was going through my divorce and thought I had paid it off. The so called Mr.Morgan said that I owed $7,000.00 dollers but they could cut it back to a little over $2,000. That I had a warrent out for my arrest because I missed a court date. Told him I thought I had already paid it. He told me that because I did not show up to court that I had received 2yrs jail time. He had all my information so I thought it had to be true. But I was just layed offwork because a company from India had bought us out I was on unemployment. He told me he could set me up on a pymnt plan of $200.00 a wk but I had to give them the first pymnt then. And stupid me I did I was worried that I was going to be arrested and wouldnt be home when my small children got off the bus. and he said if I made the pymnt I wouldnt be arrested. Well I made it. Then think If I could prove I had paid it, it would be refunded to me. So i contacted my bank and sure enough it had been paid. Called them backand they told me I was wasting their time and hung up. I called my local police dept to find out if there was an warrents on me and they said no. Found out to late that this was all a scam. I dont understand with all the complaints on the so called BCI that is not showing it as a true company why cant they be stoped?

They just called me claiming to be "Stevem Mark" form BCL Bureau of Crime investigation (according to the web - no such thing) mthey keep calling every 10 mins or so.  I have paid all my payday loans off and told him so.  I also told him that at least 2 other so called collecdtion agencoies have tried the same tactics, I know better.  This time I have the threateniong voice message kept so that I can give it to authorities.  What they are doing is illegal!!

They called my place of work about an employee wanting to know if I was responsible for her debts. The person had a heavy accent, sounded like a female but identified himself as Joseph Gardner.  When questioned, "he" said he was male and located in Florida. Also, that if this person did not call within four hours my employee was in big trouble.  Very unprofessional in words and tone.

They claim to be from Morgan Law Firm and collecting on a payday loan from USA Cash.  Very unprofessional.  They left messages at my work, my home and my friend's house.  I called them back and requested validity of the loan they claimed I owed and they told me they did not need to provide and that I needed to give them an attorney to talk to.  I told them that if I did indeed owe a loan that I was just requesting proof of what they were discussing and they would not provide it to me and became very flustered to the point of hanging up on me.  Threatend to go to my employer and the police department.

my husband received a phone call from a man named Martin Klein stating that a person in Texas named Sharon had named him as a guarantor on an unsecured loan. Mr. Klein threatened legal action if my husband did not call back. He said he was calling from Legal Department for Unsecured Loans.

I got a call for a "Mill Watson" stating that I took a payday loan out with some loan company which I didn't.  Whatever you do, do not give in to the scheme.  It is a total fraud situation.  I had to take 2 loans out awhile back which apparently the companies must sell information to other companies.  This guy had all my information.  If you can stand them calling, then deal with it and keep telling them that they are a scam and that all their information is out on the internet!  Tell them to check for themselves!  What a bunch of foreign do***e bags.  I told them that their call was being recorded for my own safety and that the call was being traced also!  I gave them every scare tactic in the books.  They will NOT get a red cent off of me.  Please don't let them have yours either.

I just got the call from Joseph Gardner, Bureau of Crime Investigation as well. He was looking for Sharon and said I was on her contact list. I just hung up the phone.

I am getting these harrassing phone calls from the man with a heavy foreign accent stating they work for a lawyer in florida and they have a case against my social security number stating I borrowed money from a cash advance loan and if I don't take care of this, I will be arrested. They are harrassing me and now my daughters. I am scared and I don't know what to do. He is calling me from several different phone numbers. He uses two different names: Chris Wright and Paul White.

I just received a call from a Raymond Scott stating I owed $350 today.  Then he wanted me to fax him something that I would paying this debt by tomorrow.  He had a very heavy accent and also asked for the CC number I will be using to pay this debt....BEWARE....

On Wedneday August 25, 2010 5:58p.m. I recieved a call on my cell from a guy named Eric who spoke as if he was from india stating that he was from the legal Department of United Cash Advance he said I was under crimial investation for a loan that I did re-pay I asked when did I take out the loan and what is the amount of the loan, he said this was taken out in the year of 2009, but refuse to give me a date.  As I begin to get ungly with him on the phone he said I took out the loan on October 22 my mother brithdate than I asked him for the amount of the loan he said it was for $300.00 as we were talking I was writing all this information down I asked how could I reach United Cash Advance he gave me this 800# and ask if I wanted to speak with his supervisor (Mr. Raymond Scott) I said yes.   Mr. Scott come on the phone with this heavy voice still of indian accent and said that if I did re-pay the loan I would need to get a lawyer because I was going to be sued.  After rising my vocie and deputing the loan Mr. Scott said that I did take out loan for $550.00 and called me a Damn Lier! Well I called him a damn lier and said that was not the amount Eric said I owed and hung-up the phone.  After locating a computer I google the #800 and recieved your information on these con-arts.   I call my local FBI agencie and reported them I was told I did everything I was suppose to do by obtaining the information from them as I did.  So people "Be Aware" If It Sound Stuipd; It's Coming From A Stuipd Person.  Like a name Eric, and Raymond Scott which are normally american name speaking of Indian accent.  BIG RED FLAG!!!!

Some man with a heavy accent keeps calling me telling me that I owe him money. Today I got a message from an officer Gardner saying that I needed to call back within 24-48 hours or they would go to my job and speak with my supervisor. They have been calling me for the past couple of weeks with the same message and nothing has happened yet. I got a lock on my bank account so thank God they can't go in and get my money.

They have contacted me, and the general manager at my place of employment. I have contacted the Federal Trades Commission, FBI and the local authorities, as advised. I was unable to find out how to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, can anyone please point me in the right direction? ( I live in Indiana)  Thanks

I've been getting these calls every couple of months - it is a scam.  A while back one of the Payday Loan company's records were hacked and personal information was leaked. I am assuming that these phone calls are from the hackers. When I was told that the client requested no documents be sent to my until they got more information from me, I knew the calls were a scam. At first I told them to send me documented proof of a default, but finally gave up on that - now I tell them to call my attorney and they usually hang up.

I received a phone call on last night at work around 7:14pm and I get off work at 3:30pm. He said his name was Daniel Smith and he was calling regarding a serious legal matter. He had a thick accent and I know it is fraud because I received calls before. I work for the State and I asked one of our Investigators to speak with him and he wouldn't give him any kind of information and then when the investigator in our office starting asking him questions, he hung up the phone. He was calling from 1-800-219-9702. This is crazy and I hope and pray that GOD would intervene on our behalf and keep these nuts from calling us and getting on our nerves. Don't give up any money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number and the guy told me that he was from a legal department trying to collect on a payday loan.  I have taken out loans, but they were drafted out of my account. He told me that the debt was from Jan. 2010.  I did not take out a loan at this time.  He would not tell me the name of the Company that the loan was from, he would not e-mail or fax me any information. He stated that if I did not pay the amount of $511.00 by tomorrow that I would go to court and be charged $3000.00. He would not give me any information about the name of his legal department or supervisors name.  It has really upset me.  Actually he asked for my husband, but when i told him i was the wife, he proceed to give my address, my husband ss# and told me that my husband had taken out a loan of $350.00. I asked why he owed so much, the man could not tell me. If this was true, he should not have been able to discuss the terms with me because the loan supposedly was in my husband's name.  He wanted me to write a letter stating I would pay this money and fax to him and he would call me back for my debit card number or credit card number.    I asked several times for information to be e-mailed to me, but he kept putting me off by saying that if he sent me paper work that would me that if refused to pay the claim.  What company does not give paperwork?  Especially legal companies.  Thank you for the posts on this number.  I plan to call the Better Business Bureau and report this call.

I have received a call from this number, with a man saying he is Martin Kline. He was calling for my sister and had my home number which is  unlisted, he also called my mom about my sister, when I called them back, he knew who I was without me telling them. I at first thought my ex-husband had something to do with it because he has it in for me and my sister had an application put in her name for a local car dealership and she was not the one who applied for it, I am not real sure what is going on but these people need to be stopped, they said it was for an unsecured debt and to have my sister call them about the cash advance she had taken out.

I received a call at work and a message was left on my brother in law's answering machine that I was being charged with fraud and if either of us did not return a call both of use would be in court tomorrow. The nubmer was 800-219-9702. The individual spoke with a heavy accent and was very hard to understand he said he was from the Florida state investigators office.
