I've had the same mobile number for nearly 4 years now, and about a month ago, they started calling for a person named Eric. I'm not related to anyone named Eric, nor do I know how they got my phone number. I finally got up the nerve to call and request they remove my phone number from their records since I have no idea who it is they're looking for

I am in Canada and am getting calls from this number (980)265-5512. The message they leave is always to call 1-800-220-7804 to resolve the "matter". I have tried answering the call directly, but the caller always hangs up immediately when I say hello.

Called it right back from my cell phone---it's a selling agency for "Medical alert" to get a "free medical alert system". Advised her I am on the federal NO CALL list and to NOT call back anymore. Advised her of the FEDERAL law governing this, and that her company will be in violation of federal law should they keep it up.

BTW...PATRICK L. HAYES or Patrick Hayes HAS BEEN SUED BY TARGET NATIONAL BANK...Ironic that an attorney who has been sued for not paying his bill sues collectors. Look at this guys pics, he is a 5'ft 7in balding little punk who graduated from a second rate law school who still lives at home with his parents...public record..patrick l. hayes or patrick hayes who works at marso and michelson has been sued by attorneys for non payment of a debt.

| chika 2013-03-18 15:54:00 Unknown |
i really doubt that they read these posts so if you want the calls to stop just return the call and have them stopped...its not that difficult to do.

Same thing happening here... they've been calling my teenage son's phone for two years. We've asked them nicely, threatened, etc.. yet every few months, they start up again. This time they're getting a letter and a BBB Complaint. Next call gets an FCC Complaint.

Received a call at 8:08 am on 7/14/12 Saturday morning from a 8002201622. I answered and a machine asked me to press "1" if it was speaking with myself. So I pressed "1" and immediately the phone dialed and outbound number and started ringing... No one answered, there was no voice mail message. I got worried it was one of those scams that call you and you end up calling the Caribbean. So I called my cell phone provider and blocked the number for 90 days.
I searched online for that phone number today and saw that it is a number that belongs to "Accounts recovery bureau" for unpaid medical bills.
I don't have any unpaid medical bills to my knowledge.. So I blocked my number and called them.. Of course no answer.. I got a voice mail message for a guy name "Mike" for "Accounts Recovery Bureau" asking me to leave all sorts of personal information in my message. I obviously did not give out personal information. I left a message saying I do not respond to collections agencies via phone and whatever money/bill that they believe is owed should come to me in writing.

They also call from 408-792-4600. Just got a voice recorded message that this call was from Pam Riley.

I have been getting calls to my cell phone from 800-220-1622. I have no past-due debts, and in fact, in their voice mail, they say that this call is for a person I have never heard of. They keep calling though.
I searched on "Accounts Recovery Bureau" which an earlier poster mentioned and called the number I found, figuring I would try to get them to stop calling since the person they are trying to reach obviously does not have this number but, I have been on hold for over an hour at this point.
I searched a little further and found the company web site: http://www.teamkadent.com/index.html.

I've been getting the call twice a day for a couple weeks now, it's always the same recorded message:
" Hi this Pam Riley with Accounts Recovery Bureau, I have an important message for (my Name). If this is (my name) press 1 for yes, 2 for no."
I press 1 for yes then a phone starts ringing, I put my phone on speaker, after about 5 to 10 minutes I hang up. No one ever answers.

This IS a collection agency, Accounts Recovery Bureau, Wyomissing, PA. I don't know who all of their clients are, but one is Alliance Medical Group. So if you owe a doctor's bill, this may be why they're calling.

They do not need your SSN to bill insurance.......they need your id/subscriber number with the insurance carrier....don't ever give out your ssn

| Anon 2012-03-06 20:32:35 Unknown |
Do not give your social security number to this outfit. They are not allowed to use your social security number. It may be some kind of scam?
Also the posts on here that tell you to pay your bill may be a a part of it.

You have rights: Federal law requires that debt collectors treat you fairly. In short, that means:
A debt collector may contact you in person, by mail, telephone, telegram, or fax, but may not contact you at inconvenient times or places ? for example, before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m ? unless you agree. A debt collector may not contact you at work if the collector is aware that your employer prohibits it.
If an attorney is representing you about the debt, the debt collector must contact the attorney, rather than you. If you don?t have an attorney, a collector may contact other people only to find out your address, your phone number, and where you work.
A debt collector may not harass, oppress, or abuse you or any third parties they contact about you.
A debt collector may not lie or mislead anyone when collecting a debt.

It's a collection agency, so don't waste your time.

They've been calling non-stop for several days now--no message if you miss them, no person to talk to if you answer, no way to tell them that in fact you neither owe any medical debt nor are you the person they're looking for. We've filed a complaint with the PA Attorney General's office about them before (they were calling one of our cell phones, looking for another wrong person), I guess it's high time we file another complaint.
