Ugh called 3x in a row every 73min (i timed it) for a week, for a car warranty offer,,,,i have no car nor have i in years the jerk called me a liar!!! Where do they get our numbers and where are they located, i am upset i do NOT tolerate being called a liar, someone must pay they are crooks.

Just recieved the same call on behalf of Visa points. They did not even know my first name so how would they know my Visa? lol

Company claiming to be "Florida Breaks" saying I'd won a vacation package in Florida because "I was over 2000 reward points on my Capitol One Visa" (I don't have a Capitol One Visa). After their pitch, attempted to obtain my real visa card and my DOB. Continued to have fun with them to find out about who they were. Over the course of 20 minutes and three phone calls, the guy tried to convince me they were legitimate by sending me to their web site: www.breaksinflorida.com

I looked up their Registrant information, which doesn't convince me any further:

1st call on Oct.16th @2.29pm and 2nd call on Oct.17th @8:14am!!!
Both times I let the answering machine take it both times but no message.

Got a call from these guys on 10/17/08 at 8 in the morning!!!  Picked it up and it was a recorded message telling me 'Congratulations' I had won a cruise and to press "1" to claim my prize or something like that.  I hate it when these call early.  Lucky we were already up for school or else, I would be very mad!

I have received many calls from 1-800-222-1111 selling auto insurance. I have asked twice for them to put me on their do not call list . They keep calling. If you are in Canada, hang up and push *57 Do this five times then call 1-800-651-1121. security will then deal with them. or register your number with the national do not call list at 1-866-580-3625, however this does not stop U.S. calls.

They called at 830 am on a Saturday morning of course I was in bed. My answering machine picked up the call and of course no message. When I called 1-800-222-1111  back, a recording comes on and says that "The number you have dialed cannot be reached from your calling area". What the F*#@ they can call me but I can't call them what kinda deal is that.

It was a Filthy, dirty spelling making sound like it was he phone number.  Any where to report this phone harassment other than Fed Do Not Call?

Caller named "Joe" from National Car Warranty spelled a filty word when I told him the number he called was on the do not call list.

got 3 calls from this number last week, answered once and did not get anyone on the line, just dead air. Also tried to call them back like many here, and got a "this number not available" message.

This is the supposed address of the owner of this 800-222-1111 number. I do not yet have their name, individual or business, but when I have it, I will post it.

I got the same thing everyday this week. I have had an average of 10 calls per day for 3 days in a row from this number. I am going to the court house in the morning to see about getting a subpeona against the phone company to release the information on this number. I'll post back when I get the info for the number.

Called about car warranty - twice within an hour...refused to give company info. Has been calling for several days, weeks. How annoying. When I called the number I got the message - number not available in my area.

Wanted the VIN off my car and said my warranty is about to expire. Press 1 to speak with a representative. I asked what company was calling he said "The Warranty Division" I had to ask of whom he listed off all the different vehicle manufacturers. I asked him if it was a Canadian Company he said yes. I told him to remove my number from his list as Im registered with the Do Not Call Registry or I will file a complaint.

I just received a recorded message from a local Priest on behalf of Informed Catholics blah blah blah urging me to vote to save life this election... WTF?!?!?

I live in Alberta, Canada - didn't answer the call, I never do when it's a 1-800 number anymore.  I keep on getting calls from credit card companies selling cards for dept stores that don't exist in Canada. Haven't they ever heard of removing Canadian area codes from their database before spamming us with stuff we don't qualify for?

They've been calling me on a regular basis for about 2 weeks now about my warranty expiring soon. I keep pressing 1 and annoying the person on the other end. I turn up the tv, hold the phone close to the speaker and keep saying hello. I've also said "some young feller told me to press 1 to speak to your auntie" I've also pretended to be deaf so they'd yell at me. Have some fun everyone, press the 1 when they call and keep them on the line. Do whatever it takes. The more time they spend on the phone, the less money they'll make. They soon catch on.
