friggin annoying got call multiple times, now it just cuts off If I pick up

Called 5 times yesterday
Called 4 times today
Never leaves a message

calls and never leaves a message and never identifies the call or reson left on hold when you call back

what kind of lame business practice is that. have a computer call you and not a human, do they really expect me to talk to a computer.

they r collection agents. it is not an actual law firm.
they are trying to collect $300 from me for an RCN bill.
they call everyday usually every hour on the hour. when it answers it some autoimated lady "Peggy Jarvis", then u r put on hold. then some douchbag comes on and acts like an attorney. they are total pricks.
they call themselves "Goodwin & Bryan" but what i gather from others on here, they change their name at will...probably depending on the name of the bill collector working that shift.
they will also call with "UNKNOWN..UNKNOWN" and if you talk back to them they call with "private name. private number" (which means they blocked themselves when calling). they then hang up on you when u answer.

Called over and over leaving messages until I finally called back, they said they were Law offices of Gilbert & Bryant, and I needed to give them my number, I did, and then they said they were looking for someone else and could not discuss anything with me. I told them to stop calling me and they said I have to write a letter to make them stop but would not give me their address since I am not the persont hey are looking for. they are still calling, and I think there is only 2 people that work there because I always talk to the same two people...pathetic...

They call me every day trying to collect a debt that is owed by a former business. Not even in my name. They CLAIM to be attorneys. When i tell them that I am recording the call, they hang up. When I try to call them right back, they hang up again. SCAM..do not answer their calls.

Got a VM from Mary Peggus @ 1-800-223-4969 on Sat 10/31, Mon 11/2 and Tues 11/3 on my work phone. When I call back it makes you leave a message. I left one to stop calling me. Didn't work.

They are a huge bunch of scammers.  Just don't answer the call.  

Some people don't know how to make an honest living.

They call every hour sometimes 8-10 times a day.  Never leave a voice mail.  This has been going on for months and months.  We are going to our wireless carrier and report the number as a harrassing number.  Hopefully it will help.  I've had this number for two years and don't see why I should have to pay to get a new number!!!

Keep getting calls from 1-800-223-4969. Important message from Mary Pegas (or so). There is no voicemail, if you pick up all you hear is that all agents are busy and the line goes dead.

Calling the number back does not help, waiting in line till connection  breaks down.

Woman named Mary Peggus left message to call her back at 1-800-223-4969. Also gave option to opt in to talk to her, when I did I was left on hold for 5 minutes. They called me on my work number.

They call and never leave a message.  My number is non-published and they still call. Telemarketers do not care about any phone laws what so ever.

now they are saying it is important to call trhem and using the name Terence Crawford, They also use the tel#800-560-3684. If u have caller ID never pick up any 800 #. If it is important ,they will leave a message and thernb u decide about calling back. Thius is some collection agency scam.

Got a letter from Goodwin & Bryan with this #8002234969. They want to collect a medical bill from 5/17/2004. It took eight years to send one letter??? I have since had several credit reports that this does NOT even show up on it. The fine print on the letter says they are only licensed to practice law in Ohio. Give me a break.

Claim now they are the law office of Gideon and Brian. Have received calls from other 800#'s tied into this one. Believe it is CCR. Theses are scams. A legit law firm would send out a certified letter. This is going on for months. 6 months ago tried to return call and they kept u holding forever. They want to speak to me, let them send aa certified letter.

caller id says CCR inc and the number comes up 216-896-1172 (not a local number to us). the recording is identical from both calls that i recieved...there's a pause and then this is robert calling from finnigan and briant (i think this is the supposed firm's name but he is mumbling) please return this call at 1-800-223-4969, he then gives office hours like those reported and repeats his message one more time. he never mentions my name or a reason for the call and i have recieved calls from this ccr inc four times in the last month, with only the last two resulting in messages. this is very frustrating especially w the holidays approaching

I received the same phone call but let it roll into voicemail.  He says he is Robert calling from Robert and Goldwin

They even included their office hours on the voicemail
M-W-T-F they are open from 2:00pm-7:00pm
Tuesday - 8am-7:00pm

They are probably phising.  I wouldn't pay it any mind.
