For us, It was CHECK N GO used this company to process the debit from our bank account. Woke up with alerts from our bank about $611.23 has been debited by " PAYMYBILL"  800-8206829 VA....We talked to check n go last night and authorized the payments, but they were SUPPOSED to call us first thing this morning to make sure the check we had deposited had cleared (large amount) but they didnt keep their word those greedy b*****ds but thank GOD the check had cleared NOW WE WILL NEVER ASK FOR ANOTHER PETTY LOAN AGAIN! DO NOT DO IT PEOPLE! Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know if you see this companys name on your bank statement, then you most likely authorized SOME company to debit your account at sometime recent. This company is just a company that other companies use to get their money...the middle man, an innocent bystander. I called it and spoke to a very nice woman who explained it all to me and how they operate.

I found both of them, Jesse Riddle and David Wood on Facebook. Each of the them have a family and all of their information is there. Its kinda funny how Jesse Riddle is quoted in a real estate article stating they are downsizing from their 11,600 square foot pepperwood home and selling it for $2million. KEEP STEALING FROM EVERYONE.  I guess everyone is catching on and realizing THEY ARE CROOKS and con artists. Guess their funds are running out!!! I would be pretty disappointed in him, if he was my parent.I have read numerous articles where other lawyers have sued him for being A$$ or something on that order. But from the sounds of all the harassing calls, I guess that is where their employees get it.

9/20/2011 2pmCST called the toll free number provided by the recording. Per the greeting, this is a law office (Woodlaw) looking for an individual that I do not know. Unfortunately, I am unable to get anyone to answer the phone in order to request they remove my number.

what do i do if they are calling my main work # and leaving it for me to call them? I tried but keep getting v.m!

I researched this in great detail and cannot even get through to them, the real people, this is a front for another company. This law firm is not even listed in the American Bar Association or the Trial Lawers Association. To use your phone companies call blocking system costs you money. For me the final answer was simple, but expensive. I bought a Call Blocker 10 from Digitone. Now I can block who I want , when I want. I can let through the calls I want and I can block , anonymous, private and every other conceivable deviation there of.

    The automated messages states this is from "K.T. Fox at Wood Law PC" No such company exists.

This is not the same company as the collection company that is calling you.

I have asked them repeadedly to take my name off of their debt collection call list. They are calling for a Randy Madson or Matteson. I don't know this person and not sure how they got my name and number for this guy. I have had my cell number for over 12 years. The calls have been happening for over 2 months, the latest name of the debt collector is Casey Fox from Wood Law. They call from different area codes and phone numbers.

These people are also calling me with no reason to do so. I am filing a case against them with both the Wisconsin Attorney Generals Office as well as Michigans. Lets stand up for our rights and also forward all these calles to our State and Local Representatives so they realize there needs to be some Laws against these guys that are enforced. I think if it is ok for them to call us it should be ok for us to Forward the calls.

I keep getting this call looking for an ex-wife of 18 years ago and even then they use her last name from a previous marriage. If I had her number I would gladly give it up.

I keep getting a call from 443 853-1177 telling me this if a call for Tyrone Smith.  There is no one by that name living in my home.  The message tells me to call 1 800 225-5050, but when I do I cannot get through.  I want the calls to stop  My caller ID is loaded with these calls several times a day all week long.

THIS LAW FIRM KEEPS CALLING EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM I'M NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR  SO NOW I'M GOING TO GO AFTER THEM FOR THIER ACTIONS

Suggest you talk to them give them the "new'  phone number of the debtor.. have the phone number of your congressman, legislator, etc ready to give them. Let them get the calls, an see how fast they are shut down.  I prefer finding the location of the caller an giving them numbers from their town. See how fast they become the un-wanted business in town. Fun!

I have the same trouble as many of u do by the same number but say they are The Black Fog Law Offices & say I owe them a large amount of money that I do not & yes they love to call early  but if you call there office they dont open till 11:00am mountain time that is 1:00pm eastern time leave me alone

Getting phone calls an messages for somebody that does not work here.  Can not get through to them to tell them.

i like how u tell them they have the wrong number and a few days later thye call back with the same name or ask who this is ...there just poking around peoples numbers trying to find the person they r looking for instead of doing there own job lazzzy!!!

I have been getting these calls for over two years concern Directv  in which i do not owe them one dam thing.

I keep getting calls for two people unknown to me on my cell phone, which I've had for two years, for debt they apparently owe. I cannot answer because there is no one there--just a recording saying to call 8002255050. I've tried calling it at various time to get them to stop.  Usually it's busy, but now they say listen to the options since the office is closed, followed by a long silence with no options given. I'd love to sue these folks. Any ideas?

I told them I would sue them, they then called me back a third time.

I get daily calls from this number. It is a recored message saying they are a collection agent calling for someone whose name I never heard of.

For six months I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from Riddle and Wood Company attempting to collect a debt from a person named Punzy ...., then a person called Quiny Davis.  I am sick of this.  It is very annoying.  Spoke with AT & T and was told to fill a complaint with the manager.

I have been getting calls daily from 1-800-225-5050. A machine answers. They identified themselves as attorneys Riddle & Wood. Then they say they are looking for me but used my previous married name which I have not had since 2004. I decided to call the number yesterday to see what this was about and I got a recording saying this number is not in service at this time or cannot be reached in your service area. I called from a land line. I tried again making sure the numbers were correct and got the same recording. I got another call today (voicemail) so I called them back. A man named Daniel answered. I gave him the reference # they left for me and he asked if I was Rita .... (my previous married name). I told him that was me but not my last name anymore. He rattled off the last four of my social security number and asked if it was mine and I said yes. I asked what this was in reference to and he said to two delinquent accounts. He gave me I had 20 to 25 years ago. I asked if they had a license to try to collect these debts and he said yes. I asked for it and would not give it to me. His technique was to try to redirect my attention to the debt only. He said to look them up online and I told him I have and saw a lot negative comments about them. I asked for the license number again and he hung up. I tried calling back twice and both times it said the number was not in service again.

Unrelenting calls everyday with a recorded message claiming to be from a law firm (so they say) of Riddle and Associates. They are supposedly looking for a woman (not me) and that if I'm not that person to ignore the call. But they won't stop. They claim the matter has to do with the collection of a debt.

Nowadays most land lines have caller ID and for sure all cell phones do as well.  I agree with 'tt' in not answering "unavailable" or "800" numbers.  My cell phone has a "Hold Call" setting which I use to "answer" unavailable & 800 numbers.  I recorded a "whistle" on this setting, and behold, I haven't had a repeat from such callers on my cell phone.  As for my land line, Caller ID does the trick.  I'm not anxiously curious when an incoming call number is not familiar or unavailable.  Besides, I got out of debt a year ago.  Simply, don't pick up! While the caller ID read 'unavailable' the recording left the 800-225-5050 #.
