Some college calling about financial aide.  Not looking to for a college.  I have no idea how they got my number.

I received a call from them.  The caller was pleasant.  Apparently, I had placed my name and number on a site about potential interest in an online degree.

I told the caller that I was not interested, nor did I think I would ever be interested.  She was apologetic and agreed to remove me from the calling list.

My recommendation to all, if you are getting calls from anyone repeatedly and do not wish to be called, pick up the phone and tell them so.  If they are selling something, a degree, a magazine, a time share... and they know that you are a waste of time, believe me, they will want to remove you.

Just asked them to remove me from the list, will see what happens...

These people are so desperate and pesty!!  Hey folks, if you leave 10 messages and nobody calls you back, it means they are not interested.  LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Received a call and was addressed by name. Very creepy since I never heard of them. Already have two degrees.

I have received this call a couple of times but I never answer it because, hey, who do I know at a 1-800 number?  No message is ever left.   From all the posts I have read this is some kind of college?  Well, I am celbrating my 60th birthday in 3 weeks so I don't understand how anyone could consider me a possible candidate for continuing education.  What is wrong with these people? Don't they know this is just plain annoying?

All of my phone numbers are registered with the 'Do Not Call' registry', but my husband and I constantly get calls on our cell phones from this number, 800-226-7625. How do I stop them from calling? Since it looks like the 'Do Not Call' registry doesn't work. Does any one know who they are and what their physical address is? I sure would like to send a 'BIG FLAMING BAG OF CRAP' to the management and policy makers of all telemarketing companies that harass people on the 'Do Not Call' registry. I'm not really going to do it if any one's worried. But one can only dream.
These telemarketers' must be using a demon dialer. Just to mess with them I think next time I'll answer, hope that there's a real person to hear my message and say this -
'We're sorry the number you have reached has been disconnected and there is no forwarding number.'

I got this call tonight and the man on the other end asked for me by my first name, not even my last name. I immediately hit the star button three times and the guy hung up on me, as I figured he probably got the fax machine. I googled the number and it was Full Sail University in Florida. I never once sent my information to them and I didn't ask them to send me anything as I am going to culinary school, not the graphic art school.

I marking this call type as a telemarketer as I did not ask for them to call me at all as I am not interested in going to that school period.

Received call from this number. No VM left. Reading other posts, I would believe it is Full Sail University just checking in to see if I am still interested in attending.

got a call from a person left 877-252-0995 as a callback number regarding interest in continuing education.

I get calls from this number and when I answer, there is no one there. No voice mail is left and there is no sign that there is a person or a computer on the other end. Based on a Google search, I'm assuming it's registered to Full Sail University, whom I have spoken to previously and requested to have my number removed from their database.

Yep, Full Sail University. They also seem to have local reps call because I've actually taken calls with local numbers showing up on my called ID from them. Either that or they're "spoofing" the caller ID to make it look like it's a local call.

I didn't even have to give my number and they call me. They came to my school when I was in grade twelve. I graduated a couple years ago and I still get calls. It's freaking annoying.

Yeah, I agree.  I went online looking at Financial Aid information, etc. and these folk started calling and harassing me before I left the website (wasn't even their website!!).  And have continued to do so ever since, even though I have told them OVER AND OVER that I plan to attend a local community college after further research.

this number keeps calling me and no one picks up or says hello. i cant call it back as it says the number is wrong. id like some information on how to remove my number from their list

They call me every spring saying I requested information on a bachelor's degree. I did no such thing! So annoying.

Received this call yesterday , also many calls from VA College. The only thing I can figure is that my son just graduated and the school released the number for colleges. If he goes to college it will be local and one of choice. NOT recruited ! It`s getting annoying.

I got a call from this number, but I signed up for the information.... only, I thought this was a school for just Creative Writing, Not graphic arts.

I just received a call from this number telling me that I have a tuition payment due in a few weeks.  In a subsequent telephone call, I politely informed them that I did not know what kind of establishment it is, never heard of or from them at all in the past & certainly wasn't taking any courses through them!!!  Furthermore, I told them that I am still looking for a job without success.  They said that I was called by mistake but never said from where they received my telephone number as it is unlisted!!!

Signed up for some info from Full Sail University.  Did not request a call.
They called me relentlessly for 2 weeks.  Left NO messages.  Every time a call went to voice mail I could hear someone typing then they would hang up.  Call the number back today and asked to be removed from their contact list.   They said they would remove me but said they could not guarantee that I would not still receive calls from other educational institutions.  I told them I was certain that I did not authorize them too share my number with other institutions.  They replied, "well, we just can't guarantee it."
