If some bottom-feeding debt collector calls you tell them to put their claims in writing and mail them to you. NOT e-mail or Fax; as per federal law under the FDCPA. If they refuse, or start making excuses, they're bogus or fraudulent collectors using intimidation tactics to illegally coerce you into paying on an invalid or bogus debt.

Got the call telling me i have an account with them which i do not.
Called them back after reading the things on here and told them to take me off their calling list or i too would be calling the Sheriff and FBI about them.

I applied for a loan with one click cash and have paid them off now they are calling me and advising me to check my email. and if i had any questions to call back well i havent recieved any emails and when i have answered the phone to them i advised them that i dont want another loan. I have gotten a few paid day loans and paid them off with my first payment. but now they call and leave a message on my cell to check my email. im getting a little annoyed when i specifically adviced occ that i didnt want another payday loan. They debit your account everytime you get paid because you signed authorization when they advanced you the money. I dont have problems with them just wished that they would quit calling my cell while im at work.

Same story here: Always get some guy with a very thick accent but very english sounding name. I have stopped arguing with them, turned number over to AG office. Scam artists and always with the same message in the in, "God bless you, you will need it."

Ok here's deal.... If you've ever applied for a 'payday' loan online, THAT'S how they get/got your info! These companies sell your information to other companies and it's a never ending vicious cycle! I had applied for one about a year ago and they ended up debiting my checking account even though I decided NOT to accept the loan. What they did was created an electronic check and sent it through my account withOUT my permission, then they sold my information to other companies. One of these was for a coupon company. WHY would I PAY for coupons? All and all it ended up costing me about $300 plus nsf fees. I then ended up having to close my checking account which I had my paycheck direct deposited into, TWO days before I was supposed to be paid! It was a complete nightmare!!!!!

Received a voice mail on my cell from Carlos telling me to call and "check my email"
Had an email supposedly from One click cash... Never heard anyone with a hispanic name with a thick Indian accent...
He then called my home, and my wife answered. It was "Carlos", but it was the same guy that tried to Phish info from us on the 8th of Jan from 925-309-6198 claiming to be an attorney from the "Department of Justice, McGougans Division" that threatened to harm us if we didn't make an ACH payment of $795.12 immediately. Told him to go screw himself and hung up, he called back 4 more times with scary things like "You will be sorry when this rains down on you, May god have mercy on your soul"
Filed a report with the FBI and the local Sheriff.
When he called today, my wife insulted his religion and said she'd send him a side of beef for his birthday... He screamed lots of obscenities and hung up LOL
