Received a call about our school's choir program...which is brand new this year, and has only had 2 rehearsals.  I didn't know how anyone would know about our choir so soon!  My call was from Heather.  She would not give my secretary any identifying information.

I got the call and was told it was about Professional Development.  I was told to call Cary B____.  I couldn't understand the rest of the message.  The accent was heavy and there was huge background noise on the message.  I won't be returning the call.

I got a message asking to call back at that number, but the original message was dialed (according to caller ID) from Russia at the phone number +7 772749306.  That alone was enough to make me suspicious, thanks to all who posted with the details! I will not be calling them back...

I received a message today from Gabriela Violi asking that I call her at this number "tonight" regarding professional development. So glad I checked this number out. Thanks for your posts.
Spanish teacher

I teach Spanish at an elementary school. Here's the msg I rec'd today...

"This is Gabrielle Ravioli. Please call me this evening re: professional development."

I'm seeing that a lot of people are mentioning Heritage Festivals.  My choir will be traveling with Heritage later this year, but the woman I've been talking to was not the Heather Dutch this message told me to call, and she didn't say anything about Heritage Festivals in the message.  Weird.

I teach Choir, but there was no reference to my program.  My message just said, "Please call Heather Dutch," and then the phone number.  That's it!  I'm not calling anyone back who doesn't tell me who they are and what they want.  Thanks for posting this, everyone.

Just got a call from this person. I'm in British Columbia. Same deal. Glad I googled the number and found this post. Called and left a message to never call my school again.

Was asked to call back Heather Dodge... with such a thick accent. I answered the phone and the person asked if they were interrupting anything. I said "Yes, I have class right now." Person did not want me to take a note- they called back and left a voice mail. The voice mail did not identify the company or anything... just asked me to call Heather Dodge at that number. Hmm.

I got a message from this number. Just left the name "Harold Duncan", no details and no reasons for the call.

The office secretary left me a message to call back Harold Duncan at this 233 number, Re: Choir Program.  We have a 24hr call rule so I called back today... Immediately went to hold, then a young lady answered asking who i should be connected to.  I told her Harold and after a minute holding a very nice guy answered the phone (no accent).  While holding, I began simultaneously googling Harold and the phone number and found this site.  Now skeptical, I was very short with him as he asked if I was planning on traveling.  I told him my parent group is in charge of trips and we hadn't any OK'ed by administration.  He then asked me what state I was in?!?!?  Which i thought was odd... anyways, He said to pass along his info and that he'd like us to consider Heritage Festivals for planning our future trips... so I said, Ok.  He wasn't pushy at all and let me go with ease!  Had I not found this site and if I was less aware I would have probably considered it.  I hope these people don't suck too many in!

Got a call today from a Francisco, calling me to call 18002331463 and ask for Henry Davis. I ended up speaking with a Curtis about traveling with my Choir program through Heritage.

Called our school asking for our dance teacher. Sounded like he was fishing for info. Thanks for the heads up.

Band director here, got the number and asked to give a call back between 10-7 PM. Heritage festival. The name they gave was Raymond the first time, then Barry Duncan the second. Whoops!

I figured it was a scam so I googled to make sure. Band directors beware!

Science teacher here...got same bs message.  Seemed like a scam so I checked and it appears it is junk.

Mine was from Barry Duncan as well.  Didn't call back and not planning to.

Got this message today and seemed weird!  Dance teacher here!  Will NOT be returning Patrick Duncan's call to 1-800-233-1463!

I got a call from an individual with no accent that asked that I call Barry Duncan at 1 800-233-1463 in my spare time.  I thought it was unusual that a telemarketer would ask me to call a number later.  Because, let's face it, we never do.
I'm fortunate that I found this site - it saved me a headache.

I got one of these on Oct. 25. Same thing everyone else is saying. I was asked to call "Henrick Davis" I do get direct calls from Heritage Festival about this time every year. But haven't recieved one yet. I won't be calling this 'person' back. Thank you Google, and this forum

Call from Henry Davis. Called from 434-326-5122 but left message to call the 800 number.  Saw in earlier posts someone mentioned Heritage Festivals.  Hertiage Festivals are real, not a scam, though very expensive.  In the past when they have called, it has always been after they have sent me an email letting me know to expect their call, and the people I have talked to have no accent.  I have a feeling these HD people that are calling are trying to scam someone, maybe saying they are from Heritage Festivals since it is a legit company, and they are not pressuring you to buy something because they don't want to get caught.  Just looking for some innocent victim to fall prey to their scam.  Sorry.  Not gonna happen here!!

Voice mail message left from "Harold Duncan."  No company name identified.

Mid dialing I googled and found this...glad I did...looks like a sales call.  Said to call Harold Duncan, had a thick accent.  I'm a band director as well in NC.  take care,

they have left 3 messages all for names with the initials HD: Harry Dodge, Hunter Dixon, Harley Duncan. thick accent. waste of time.

I told the who answered the phone that this website has complaints about their company and that all of the names are different, except for the fact that the first name begins with an H, and the second name begins with a D.  I told them that we would be contacting the Better Business Bureau.  I am also about to contact their customer service with a link to this website.

NO one should call any school program and not identify their company.  That makes it sound like a debt collector or something.  I wouldn't want to use this company even though I saw on their website that they support breast cancer awareness.  It made me feel a little sad--for about 5 seconds--then I realized that it's their fault for leaving shady messages and annoying teachers.

Got a call to return call to Harrold Duncan. The call came from the following number, 4343265117.

Same thing - called our math department phone number - not calling back

By the way, I'm a choral director.  They seem to be targeting fine arts teachers for the most part.

Wow, I'm glad I googled it first before calling back.  I got a call from "Harold Duncan"- weird that all their fake names seem to the initials ND or HD.
