I recvd a call from this certain number on Wednesday February 29th, 2012 at 853am.

Usually "my rule of thumb" is whenever I get a call on my cell from a number that I do not even know, I never, ever answer, only because, you just never ever know who is on the other end and what they are even going to say to you about whatever!!

PLZ FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC COMPLAINT ASSISTANT, EVEN IF YOU ONLY KNOW THE PHONE NUMBER, THEY HAVE MORE RESOURCES THAN WE DO AND CAN FIND OUT WHO THESE MORONS ARE AND SHUT THEM DOWN...

i just got a call from this number...first time i have got it...it only rang twice...i have this app who shows who is calling and it said it was Meta Bank...never even heard of this bank

i just got a call from this number and when they ask for me i said speaking and then there was nothing.I wish they would they would stop bother people.I hate when people bug you over the phone.

2 rings and effin hangs up. go figure

Called today,  rang about 3 times and no voice mail.  annoying

Its a soliciting call that should be reported since I am on the do not call list

JUST GOT CALL FROM 800-233-4253.  RANG TWO TIMES AND QUIT.  DID NOT RECOGNIZE NUMBER AND I AM ON THE FEDERAL & STATE DO NOT CALL LIST.  HAVE BEEN RECEIVING THE SAME CALL FOR WEEKS.

I would like to have this call stop. They call before telemarketers are to start - before 9 am,  and most days it wakes me up, and I don't rest well so it is very annoying to receive these calls especially since that I don't sleep well. I am on the do not call list and still receive these cal.s/

I have do not call on my cell phone, however I get at least 2 calls from this number every day.  When I attempt to call back, there is a busy signal!

I recieve a call twice a day random times of day but second call is usually an hour after first call.
Really starting to piss me off my 8 month old is sleeping and I have to put my cell on silent so these calls wont wake him up.

Interesting I was sitting in my car and built in dash phone rang twice and then some guy yells Ashley I know your there I can hear you. I laughed out loud and proceeded to say this isn't Ashley - he hung up before I could ask why he keeps calling my car! lol the number 800-233-4253 just rings and rings when you call back.

There have got to be a way to put a stop to calls like this.Calling people at 8:00 am every day.

The thing is, I am getting multiple different state numbers calling me a day, along with the 800 number.  Each have wanted to sell something and then when I start asking questions, I too get hung up on as well.  So that alone lets me know that the business is shady.  One thing I have learned from all my early jobs in costumer service and sales is that, hanging up on someone is not at all acceptable.  So take my advice, and company like that is not to be trusted if it even is a legit active buisness.

No message - just calls, rings a couple of times .  When I call back they say number has been disconnected.  It happens every day....at least twice a day.

Called me several times over the last few weeks. Not even two rings, then hangup.

The phone rings and twice and before I can answer they hang up. Very annoying. It happened on numerous occasions.

WOW   $239 dollars they will set me up with a website for AMAZON.COM  WELL  THE CREDIT CARD IS MAXED OUT  THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE BANK  I AM TRYING TO FIND A JOB AT 60.

So let me tell you you all something WHEN THIS COUNTRY FALLS AND WHEN ARMED CITIZENS TAKE TO THE STREETS I HOPE THEY ROUND ALL OF YOU PEOPLE UP   PUT YOU UP AGAINST A WALL   AND PULL THE TRIGGER  AND NOT BURY YOU   LET THE ANIMALS EAT YOUR FLESH AND BONES.  THAT'S AFTER WE ALL PISS IN YOUR MOUTHS......................

I just called a COMCAST operator who said there is no match, company name, for this 1-800 number.  I then asked to speak with a supervisor.  He advised COMCAST does not track 1-800 numbers and he also advised there has been no program developed to track 800 numbers.  I stated that an 800 number is rented by someone and that someone has a name.  The supervisor advised there was no way to track this 800 number.  The supervisor advised that 800 numbers can come from outside the U.S.  All the supervisor was able to help me with, was to call Customer Service at COMCAST and they wwould help me.  It's like fighting a shadow in the wind and it's getting awfully annoying.

The calls come in each day around 11:30am to 1:30 pm  2 rings then nothing. I call and get --- Our circuits are busy please try later---  I've had it.

These jerks call every day about the same time, and when I answer there is no one there. How do I stop this?

this # is calling every day 3x a day and when you call back it says its a non working #.
this needs to stop

I also have been getting this annoying call.  They started a while back and come at different times of the day.  When I try to call back I get the recording "We're sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed.  Please check the number and dial again.  OV18"
