In addition -  watch out for "double debit" on your bank checkings acct when you pay off a pay day loan. Double debit is an act of electronic theft of funds. If you encounter something like this, report it to your bank immediately and get your money back. If you do not get your money back then file a police report.

This is a new growing trend out there with payday lenders. Never trust them - ever since everything is going to hell anyways and things relating with money is growing worse.

Now you know why I use a videophone device. I have my own caller ID block on the device. They call me constantly every week with a different number. I put them on block so they waste money on trying to call me again.

I had a loan with cash central and was loyal to them for years. Until one day I got double charged by them as they took out double the amount I owed them on paying off the loan. I thought maybe it was a mistake so I called them and asked.

Their attitude towards me were despicable and they referred me over to their collections department. Yo? I paid off the goddam loan and yet they transferred me to collections. I was like wtf???!!!  I went to my bank and disputed the charges and got my money back, ALL of it. They were not happy about that lol. Well too fricken bad if they start this crap with me.

Now Speedycash did the same goddam thing. Hell with payday lenders!

Someone is using my cell number when applying for these loans.  I have borrowed no money and have no business with these people.  I currently have about 15 of these companies calling me from all over the US.  They call constantly all day long and on weekends.  When I answer, they hang up.  If I don't answer, they never leave a message.  I don't get it.  I'm changing my cell number because of it.  Ridiculous.

I have no debt whatsoever, and this number has begun calling me relentlessly. I'm not picking up, as I dont even want to confirm my number is valid to them (my VM is generic). I'm filing a complaint.

People from this number ((800) 233-6134) keep calling my cell phone and asking for someone I don't know. I have repeatedly told them that I didn't know that person and to take my phone number off their list.  I finally told them that I would report them if they did stop calling, but nothing helped.  I decided to block their number because they wouldn't stop calling.

These people are ruthless, I told them when I could make a payment and they still insist on calling me every day at work! I am barely making ends meet and both me and my boyfriends cars just broke. We have no way to keep food on the table, much less fix the cars. I make just enough for food stamps to be a JOKE and Cash Central wants to call me over and over at work so they can make a few bucks... Can anyone point me in the right direction with some pointers? I need HELP.

These people literally called 23 times yesterday!!  They won't work with me on payment arrangements either.  They don't care and are ruthless and cold-hearted. :(  I am trying.

These people are relentless and do not care one bit what your situation is.  I tried to make arrangments with them but they won't listen.  when I told them it a was choice of paying them or having electricity and food for my kids the a**hole actually said, and I quote "let them go hungry and light candles, I don't care, we come first"

File complaint with FTC then fax or certify mail collector letter stating the complaint date and file number for FTC. Demand them to cease calls and collection activity. If you google fair debt collection act and locate sample letters of how to stop their contact, find the one that suits your situation. Send this to them as well. Register your number with the do not call list registry then keep a log on their calls. You can then file a complaint on that too.

These people call me every 45 minutes or every hour. I am going to file a complaint with the FTC because they do not care what your situation is and they REFUSE to take any arrangements you try to make with them and I do not think they can legally do that. They are supposed to accept whatever you can pay because it is an effort to pay the debt.

They call at least 15-20 times a day, I gave them all the information they need to contact a debt consolidation firm that is handling my account yet they still feel they need to harass me.

Cash central. Lost job over 15 to 20 days of constant calling. Found out my sons insurance won't cover all the cost of chemo and tried explaining I can only pay a smaller amount monthly but they wouldnt  even listen.

I am currently unemployed. I barely get enough on my unemployment check to cover my bills. My spouse works, but barely makes enough to make ends meet.
