Cancelled service with them one month ago and transferred the number to a new carrier.  Cricket charged me anyway and now they want me to reactivate at this 800 #.  When you try to go beyond the press one to reactivate phone or press 2 to reactivate internet access, it will hang up on you after hitting 0 or just staying on the line.

1-800-234-2265 is Cricket Wireless.

First, make sure your phone is on the national do not call registry (donotcall.gov). Mine is already. Next, call 1-888-382-1222 and register a complaint - they will get fined $500 per call if you ask them to stop and they don't.

This number is calling me 18-20 times a day. Must be an auto-dialer computerThe pattern now  is that I do not answer so after the call, I will get another subsequent call one minute later.  It is sooo annoying particularly if I am on the phone with someone else as it interrupts that call with a beep and that call drops out for a second or two. I want this to stop. What to do ?

This is so frustrating they call me house every half hour, asking for someone that does not live here i tell the over and over not to call they say they take me off the call list, but it keeps happening, i work gravyard so this is effecting my sleep what can i do?

This number calls every day at every hour. They never leave a messege. I wish they would stop.

they call me every day for no reason and when i say something they hang out and when they don't hang out they ask me for my credit card number and social security number.

I HAD Cricket, in Kansas City, MO.  I moved to Florida and had to cancel my service(they are not down here)  I am getting calls from Cricket on my magic-jack number...that I have NOT used in over a year, long before I EVER had Cricket. How they got the magic- jack number is way beyond me, since it is unlisted & not ever given out since I DONT USE IT.
Technology...it sucks when it works for the "bad-guys" and the good ones can't win.

How can I stop receiving this call?

I'm being bugged by them. I called back and it is Cricket. They keep calling and won't leave a message. Eventually they'll stop or I'll have to see how to report them. I am on the do not call list and don't have any affiliation or ever had with Cricket.

Apparently, according to 800Notes, it's some company Cricket Mobile and Comcast uses to find new subscribers....

This number calls me through out day and leaves no message

Always calls several times a day, 7 days a week even late as 11:00pm. It always hangs up, doesnt show on caller ID.

This was from Cricket - I've never been a customer, never contacted them, don't want to be a customer, don't know how they got my PRIVATE cell phone number. Never even stepped foot in a Cricket store. But they're calling me 2-3 times per day for the last couple weeks.

They are calling me multiple times daily. Sometimes the phone only rings twice when they call. Most times the answering machine picks up and there is no message left. I want to know why the authorities aren't stopping this insanity?

I have just recently started recieving these calls. I am not even sure why the
cricket phone I had was in my cousins name on his account with them so i do not know how they have gotten my number but I am already very peeved by their

I ordered a cricket phone online but was not at home to sign for it the week when it arrived & it ended up sent back. I had to order again new phone & #,etc. Which I recieved. On the phone you can set text (which I didn't have on my plan) to not ring. Every day cricket sent a text to add stuff & it overrode the no ring. It would beep 7 beep & beep till i shut it off. I work night shift & did not need that. The phone itself would only ring 1 in 3 times someone called. I tested it standing at same place because it always told people I was out of range. I had planned to take it to get it replaced but cricket started calling from 18002342265 6-10 x a day wanting me back.(from that 1st phone I never signed for) after my 1st month and couple weeks of these calls I canceled service altogether which was not easy to get a live person to do. Regardless of cancelling it has been 6 months & I still recieve several calls every day to my landline phone from 18002342265. I've called them several times & asked them to stop it. They say there is nothing they can do. I did the donotcall.gov but for some reason the 800 # is renewed monthly or something & never long enough to let me be added. It always says I have to wait another month. this is not the first time I signed up. I've posted to sites like this one. In any event I hate Cricket & will never use them or recommend them. they wanted me to find someone to take over my account when I canceled. puh-lees. Whenever I see those 'a little respect'commercials of theirs it makes me sick. Travelling & kicking someones a** has definitely been a thought. I have had my landline 2 decades & do not want to lose it because of a**holes with poor business practices. Bottom line: This company needs to go out of business. Stay away from Cricket.

I've been getting phone calls from this number multiple times a day, and they never leave a message.  I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize or that don't list specific Caller ID.  I really wish these people would leave me alone!

I have finally got it!  1800-234-2265 is from cricket if you email them at mycricket.com they will work with you to get your number off their list.  Also make sure you have entered your number on the do not call list.  I hope this helps!!

This is not a company that Cricket or comcast uses, this is in fact, CRICKET WIRELESS. They have been calling my house 10-12 times a day asking me to reactivate an old account. I have called FOUR TIMES NOW. The first two times, the Cus Srvc Rep told me they talked to a supervisor and ASSURED ME that the calls would stop. Next day, same thing. Finally last night, I SPOKE to a supervisor named Matthew FLoures and he filled out an "escalation" form and supposedly removed my number from the account info. Well, guess what. Today, another phone call.
