called my cell, no message left. called the number back, they answered american equity mortgage

American Equity Mortgage.  If you just purchased or refinanced your home, your county auditor has to publish this information to the public.  These bottom feeder companies seek this info and in return will call you.

This number is from a mortgage company trying to see if you'd like to purchase a loan or re-finance your home mortgage.

Whoever this person/company is called my cell phone but didn't leave message.  I called this number back and all it did was ring; no one ever answered the phone.  Obviously, whoever this person is has way too much time on their hands.  Perhaps a job would be their answer to idle time.

called my cell. I answered. there was a long pause, then I heard a chair creak, and someone answered. after the long pause I hung up.

Ditto...kept getting calls at work and no message left.  I called the number, American Equity Mortgage, and they said that they would put my number on their Do Not Call list....

We get numerous calls from this number and no one answers when we pick up.  Please help us to stop these people.

Called my work number and left no message. Called back and they said it was a telemarketing call. I asked them to remove me from their call list and they said no problem. I will see if I continue to receive calls from them...

We get numerous calls from this number and no one answers when we pick up.  Please help us to stop these people. Isn't it a law for any company to maintain a do-not-call sheet and they are bound by law to add anyone who requests it?  We want to be on their DO-NOT-CALL!!!
