Received a call today from a Jess with this number today.  Guy left message and that it was urgent to call him back.  Never did.

We expalined to them how much we can afford on a 12 month period. They said we would only take 3 large payments. Every other credtior I worked with would do a longer payment plan. This is very weird. Lady was rude saying she would not lose any sleep over it. So be aware of these people. I said we might need to file bankruptcy !!! she said do what you have to.

I just started to receive calls from this number and other numbers relating to debt collections. I also have read comments above and am now aware of what these low life vutures can do to a persons life. Thank you all for your comments listed above. This will prepare me on how to handle these crumbs. I am a hard luck case not even hanging on. Let them basters take me to court for a lousy $7,000+ that isn't even mine.  I am not paying interset and late fees on this account. NO MATTER WHAT. I will sit in jail first. And as far as I know, there is no debtor prison. I did not put this country in debt nor  am I going to be the fall guy. All I can say to these basters -- GET OVER IT.

THEY CALL AND LEAVE A NUMBER, KNOW COMPANY NAME .

WWR is the most hateful group of people ever. They are claiming that I purchased a car 4 years ago in a state that I've never lived in. This account is not, and has never been on my credit report. They refuse to provide me with any information whatsoever, other than saying that I owe them over $20,000.

If they call you, answer no questions. Find out what information they have. More than likely it is incorrect. Pull your own credit report from www.freeannualreport.com, from all 3 bureaus. It will help you to know what is or isn't accurate when they call.

They are rude and nasty people. They don't listen to a word you say in defense, and talk to you like you don't understand anything.

Called asking me to verify my SSN. I did not. I offered other pieces of infomation but they were not willing to go about it any other way. I wrote the following email.

Subject: Official Do Not Call Notice
Your organization has been repeatedly calling my cell phone and home phone.  I have no outstanding debts and no business with your organization.  This is a formal cease calling notification for the number 702-448-3757 and 703-298-8523.  Any further calls from your company will result in all phone fees and services being charged to you via a small claims court filing.

When you call them they hang up unless you are intimidated and do exactly as they tell you to do.  Steve West screams at you on the phone.
Go to court and fight,.

Always a recording say to take down this number...1-800-237-9822 and call it back.  The first part of the message is always cut off, so I've never known who it was and have never returned the call.

Bottom feeder attorneys collecting for scavengers, filing lawsuits with pleadings and affidavits that fall into the ?wet ink? category of possibly being recently manufactured. WW&R work on a commission of what they collect and judgments they are able to obtain. Consumers are urged to vigorously defend any suits being filed by challenging the validity of their documents. Many WW&R court filings result from defendants failing to show; (always the wrong move). Always respond to a suit, show up in court, and challenge everything.



Debt buyers typically file suits that may be out of statutes, have improper pleadings, contain manufactured affidavits, and have no trail of ownership.

Any of these facts may be useful in a defense, which is why is it wise for anyone dealing with a bottom feeder litigator to respond aggressively, on time and armed with information.

Lawyers who deal with assembly line type bottom feeder attorneys tell me that in general they are lazy, make a lot of mistakes, take procedures for granted and are not always prepared for someone who did their homework. Make them work, or make them lose their case--they can be beaten.
