Rec'd voice message that said in very aggressive manner "If you are not Kenneth Gonzales, step away from the phone" (really ? my cell phone?) and then left a demand to return the call at ex 1110 and that it was an attempt to collect a debt. I see that it is Evergreen Recovery - I have no medical bills owing.

You debtors are hilarious... Pay your bills and stop pretending like you are unaware of these bills and pay the darn things! Every post except one that I see here are about perfectly legal and who knows how many of you are even telling half of the truth. Fishing for a lawsuit anyone? This website should be called thelazyuneducateddebtor.com

This company is now spoofing their phone number. It comes across as 111111111 now. They leave an automated message stating to call the 800-241-1305 number. I thought spoofing their phone numbers was illegal.

I am the Controller/financial executive of our company. I got a sales call from some moron named Joe Steele. Thought he was real slick, though making $6/hour harassing people doesn't sound slick to me. Anyways, this idiot tells me he's with Evergreen Professional Recovery and wants to sell my company their services. I tell him we don't need it - we handle all of our collection issues in a professional way - trying not to harass or embarrass anyone. He tells me that Evergreen Professional Recovery does things "a different way. We'll go to their houses or places of business and threaten them with lawsuit on the spot". I interrupted him and told him we weren't that kind of company and he HUNG UP ON ME. What a scumbag. I feel for those of you who are on the other end of this. There is a special place in hell for these losers.

I confirm that this number is from Evergreen Professional Recovery. They continue to call my job and leave only their name and that phone number every Monday. Thanks to the couple comments above, I know to keep meticulous records of my dealings with these cats. And yes, I am going to have a read of that fair debt collection practiced act. I tell you, these people have to work harder at their manners. I don't call anyone back that doesn't leave ample information or at least a reason why they are calling. Thanks 800notes.com for providing such a great service to the people!

If you do your research on this company, you will find that a couple people have actually filed suit against them due to violations of the fair debt collection practiced act. I would recommend you read the act and file a suit against them if they have violated any of your rights.. From one of the lawsuits, one guy (Brown) was asking for $15k as a resolution.. Oh, what I would do with an extra $15k..

The numbers for Evergreen Professional Recoveries Collection Services, are 1-800-241-1305 and 425-402-6646. I can't tell you how many times they have called and left or not left messages. I answered the phone the first time, and the gal claimed they are trying to collect money for my medical provider and it was accruing interest. I contacted my provider and I don't have outstanding debt with them, nor is anything showing up on my credit report. I filed a fraud alert with the credit agencies, just in case. My suggestion - Be careful, keep careful records if you do pay them (maybe go to their office to pay and have someone sign a receipt and keep meticulous bank records about all transactions) and perhaps keep a record of how often they call. You never know what will come up in the future.

I got the same call. I have an ex-friend who's been stalking me for a couple of years now because I cut off the friendship. Changing phone # Nth times have been useless, she found out the new un-listed # ea. time, maybe through the Fed. government agency she works for. Adding phone blocking service works a while. Lately I've been getting this call and other similar annoyance calls. Somehow I link this woman with all these strange calls. I wonder if this is a service for hire by stalkers or some psychopath to hassle people?

I've been out of town for a few months and just checked my voice messages, have received over ten messages from someone at this number named Deborah. She never states her reason for calling, or a company name, or anything. She just says, "I will need a return call" and then rattles off two numbers:
425-939-1101
800-241-1305 ext 1101.
After reading the previous posts I'm not planning on calling her back.
| CJ 2008-11-13 18:28:17 Unknown |
Call came up as unavailable on my caller ID, so I didnt answer. Voicemail left was automated system saying "We have a very important phone call for _______ only. This is not a solicitation call, we are not trying to sell you anything. You can retreive your message by calling 800-241-1305. Thank-you." I'm guessing it's a collection agency...I have a couple of outstanding bills (that I've been paying on, but perhaps hasnt been enough to satisfy anyone!) from the birth of my son. But that's it....

Caution, this comapny is a nasty one to deal with. Keep track of all records that you have with them. This comapany will lie and tell you that they never got paid. When they got the money. Will tell your employer that they are family and need to get in touch with you, tell your employer that you don't pay your bills and that you are a dead beat. Like I said, very nasty......

I showed up *at work* with a note in our communication book saying it was for Me and my Brother (we both work at the same place) with 1-800-241-1305 ext 1272, and that it was "Business Related" and had the name Rachael Sanders on it.
Aside from my folks, the only place that knows my work number is the lot I bought my car from, and they have no reason to report me to a collection agency (I don't even owe any payments yet), and my brother's name isn;t on the contract so there's no reason it would be for the both of us
I called and didn't even get to dial the extension. It went right to some guy's voice mail (couldn't make out his name clearly, sounded like 'Fakir' no last name.
I said I was returning a call and had no idea in what it was regards to. I realize now that I shouldn't have, but I gave them my home number to contact me.
I don't appreciate getting phone calls at work, particularly when I don;t owe any outstanding payments to anyone.

We had the same thing and we found out the note on the door was written by this man who lived in the same complex that we did and these idiots had called our neighbors asking if they would leave a note on our door (I'm not making this up). I felt so sorry for the man they had contacted because he was a little challenged shall we say and he had no idea what he was doing. The man on the phone had told him it was a matter of life and death and all of that garbage. Just another group of crooks trying to harass people.

Received three calls from 1-800-241-1305 on 4/3/08 They left a message saying that this is not a solicitation call and urged us to call them back. They asked for someone that does not live here, nor did we recognize the name. I called the number to see what company was calling us. They answered Evergreen Recoveries.
They claimed that they received a voice mail on their phone with my phone number to return my call. First off, we have never called this company, nor has anyone lived, known with the name of the person that they claim that they are trying to get in touch with live here or heard of.
After telling the person NOT to call back, they started to claim something about this message that was left with them to call my number, I said I didn't care, they then claimed they would check their system, Some Federal system needs to check this people out.
I now have them on my blocked list, I think I may report them to the Do Not Call list.

Received a call from 1-800-241-1305 today (March 25, 2008) at 3:30pm. They left a message saying that this is not a solicitation call and urged us to call them back. They asked for someone that does not live here, nor did we recognize the name. We?ve lived here for 20 years and have had our phone number for 30 years. Weird call. I called the number to see what company was calling us. I didn't leave a message. They answered as Evergreen Professional Recoveries Collection Services.

I've seen some horse-sh*t in my days, but I just came home and found a hand-written message on my door that says: (previous tenant's name) CALL 1-800-241-1305 ex 608.
Yes, the message was hand-written on a piece of yellow legal paper.
So now what...collectors are coming to my door, looking for someone who used to live here?
I'd like to kick one in the a** next time they show up...
| hmmm 2007-11-15 18:56:02 Unknown |
I've also recieved two cell phone messages, the first from a man who didn't leave a name, and the second from Thomas. Neither message included a company name and a reason for calling. Until such time as the person calling me sees fit to include this information, I have no inclination to reply, "urgently" (as they requested) or otherwise.
Has anyone called back? Was it legitimate? Was there an actual debt they were trying to collect on, or was the interaction otherwise beneficial to you in any way? I'd appreciate hearing what your experience was. Thanks!

This company called me. First time to ever call me. This was an automated call. They said, "Hello, This is not a solicitation call, we have an important message for M, Please call us back Monday during business hours, etc., etc. Collection Agency, I assume. Don't know why they would be calling me, I don't owe anyone, anything!!

Received two calls (one yesterday, which was a Sunday, and one today) from someone saying:
"Hey <my name>, this is Thomas. Give me a call. My number is 1-800-241-1305 ext 261."
Then he hung up. Same message for both calls.
No company name, no reason for the call. Bloody rude.
