Same thing happened to my dad they called and offered him 10 trips for 59.00 a piece..and I just tried calling the number and it is disconnected..People like this are scum. How dare they prey on the elderly..I hope that someone puts a stop to them soon..

I just received a call from Lisa at Sunscape Travel. i emailed her & I called the 1-954-565-0534 asking about the vacation package not received she check & apologized that they had not known the package had not gone out. She promised it'll be out at the end of the week i'll see. Call The number & see If you get some help

I received a phone call from Sunscape Travel about a vacation package back in Dec. 2011. They told me it would arrive in 3-4 weeks. I thought that was strange but they gave me his name. He sounded like a black guy his name was Dennis Baker he gave me a confirmation number & a call back number. I called the number it rings one time and hangs up. The package was $598.00 I looked up the company on the internet & called the numbers one is disconnected the other goes to a voice mail of a young girl. i'm going to contact the feds on this scam company.

My father fell for the same scam in dec 2011 but I just found out. Did anyone get a refund and if so, how? My father gave them $698! I will do my best to find and prosecute these MFs!

I have been getting calls from 800-241-3503, and have had to change my checking account, they tell me that everything is on the up and up, and today said that they are shipping a package to arrive in 4 weeks.tHAT THEY HAD TO GIVE ME A NEW SHIPPING NUMBER and that they had all the information.

Whose # is this? Any help is appreciated.

My Dad is 90 years old and he is suffering from vascular dementia. We have discovered  $598.00 has been electronically been taken out of his checking account probably since 2009. We have had a stop payment. We are wondering if any other name beside Sunscape Travel shows up. On his bank statment it says Am DR.

They just called my grandmother who is 78 with the SAME offer, but, they told her she can do it whenever she likes. She gave them all her info and told them hold it till Deember 3rd, 2011. Now that I read this I'm going to have her cancel this check A.S.A.P!!!

My 84 yr old Mom gots a lot of scam callers and I say this is clearly one.  She got called first by publishers clearing house and they turned her on to Sunscape travel and charged her $598 without even her consent. This # 800-241-3505 is now right on her bank statement with the 598. charge. have you fully verified as yet that this whole thing is a scam? It sure does feel like it.  They dont even answer the phone after 45 min of waiting.  What kind of legit company is that ?

My Dad just fell for the same scam from the same phone #.   They obviously call during the daytime hours so that only elderly retired people will usually answer.   Dad got the same offer of 10 "free" trips for $59.00 each, the same bit about the cancelled check so that "no money could be withdrawn," etc.   He read them his checking account #, and later that same afternoon they took out $598.00.   I called the 3505 number immediately to cancel, and got the same story about mailing the travel documents back once they arrive.   I am guessing no documents will ever arrive, and more calls to the 800 number will only lead to more run-around tactics.   Needless to say, I am closing Dad's checking account to make sure they do not hit him again.   I think I will call the 800 number and when the polite customer service rep answers I'll blast an air horn into the phone...I won't get Dad's money back, but at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I gave one of those MF's a headache.

My mother just had the same scam for $598.00 pulled on her. Someone called from 780-628-2926 which is in Canada and said he needed her to "verify" her bank account because he already had the information and had charged the $598.00 to the account. Luckily he was lying and I have convinced my mother to say:"you are full of crap" to anyone that asks for her bank information over the phone.

My Mom fell for travel scam and paid $598 for who knows what. I called 800# to dispute, guy said boss would get back to me.  Brian called a few hours later from (702) phone number and said I could get refund provided I return travel documents.  Will pursue.  Mom given same story about voided check, very scary!!!!  I tried to call back and ask about check...702-560-5236 rings once and disconnects.  Stay away!!  Use Priceline to find deals.

Does anybody this company? They called from a restricted number but gave the 800 number as a callback. They called my cell and stated that they were looking for a person by another name. I have had my cell number for over 15 years! I said no, and to not call again as someone else already called looking for that other person. He said that this was the first time he'd called and that he was from Sunscape travel, a discount travel place (I looked up their website it looks legit but I am waiting to try and get a hold of the BBB and some of the other legit government travel organizations whom Sunscape allegedly is a member of to prove their authenticity). He then stated that since I was the one who picked up the phone he assumes then he can "give it to me" and I asked what he was talking about. He asked if I liked to travel and I said yes, he then said that as a promo for their company to help since it's a newer company that they (every few months) give away vacation packages worth 20,000$. He then asked if I'd like to redeem them but he'd have to verify to make sure that would be okay and he would need my street address and a check with information (to act as a verification of my identity for when my vouchers arrived because they are worth so much and that they would also be delivered by courier) but that I should write void on the check and make sure that nothing is charged. I thought this a little too good to be true but he stated that this happens when a travel company of some sort (in this company's case carnival cruise and another company I can't remember) don't book all cabins or rooms so rather than have them sit open they'll offer them at a discounted price. At the end he said for 10 vacays I'd have to pay 59.00$ for each vacay but that all are all-inclusive except for liquor and gambling. I told him I'd need his info and he reiterated the Sunscape Travel thing and then added that the accomodations and things are provided by provided by Holiday Travel of America I told him I'd call him back. I'm just wondering if it is a scam because they have those certifications listed that they are allegedly a member of (such as ASTA and ARDA). Like I said I will be calling them tomorrow to see if that is true as all of these organizations are closed now. I also called a travel agent in my city and he hadn't heard of either Sunscape travel or Holiday Travel of America. I'm just afraid because he has my address and phone number but not the city state or zip I live in. Anyone heard of this?
