Since when is it ok to keep calling a CUSTOMER over and over, not leaving a message each time.  SO annoying.

I have received numerous calls from this # and they never leave a message. Tonite (8:25pm) I decided to answer. I said "What do you want". Some girl started to say something I interrupted and said "You want to give me a b*** j**? She said "What?" I said it again. She said "I don't think that's appropriate" and I said F*** You B****! Get on your knees and S*** My C***! Then there was silence so I hung up on her. Then I come here and see it's Century Link. I get so many BS phone calls I am sick of it. I don't care if it was the phone company. I guarantee it is not actually Century Link but a company calling on their behalf.

Now she'll probably sign me up for a bunch of services I never ordered and I'll have to fight them on it. And if they do, I'll just cancel my land line. Who needs it anyway?

CENTURYLINK called again, and hung up without leaving a message on my voicemail.  Please stop, CENTURYLINK.  That's rude and obnoxious behavior.

I see that you called, CENTURYLINK, but left no message.  Twice now, in two days.  Seems like you probably want to talk to me to try to sell me something, as if the weekly spam postal mail wasn't enough.  Otherwise, if it was important, you could just leave a message.  Now I will put you in my blacklist, just because I can, because you're annoying.

Did it occur to you that maybe they dialed the wrong number and it was for another person? I always call because if that was my hookup I'd want someone to let them know I wasn't notified.

I'm getting monthly emails to pay my phone bill by calling this number.  It mentions my real phone company and I used to think it was real.  It's been getting them over a year.  But I make a habit of paying my bills the same way every month that doesn't involve using information from an email, and its saved me more than once.

Getting spam messages from this number

Found a charge of $112.68 from Qwest Communications on my credit card bill today.  I don't have an account with Qwest Communications.  Called the number and received the welcome by Century Link.  Selected an option...guy named Tony answered and said he was just chilling...didn't work for Century Link nor for Qwest.  My credit card company is taking care of this fraudulent billing, thank goodness!

I've gotten 15 to 20 phone calls from this number can't get them to stop calling.  I called Century link, they absolutely no help.

More common problem than most realize. I was charged $400 dollars from international calls supposedly made from my residence. I have alibi's that show I was out of town for the entire month when the supposed calls were made. Called Century Link to straighten it out and all they said was if you do not pay it, it will reflect negatively on your credit. Horrible service.

Century Link, it showed up on my bank statement when I paid my bill online.

This is a fake number

Had a call from this number with a message saying that Century Link was confirming an appointment to hook up their services and if I had any questions about this automated call, to contact them at 1-800-224-1111.  Needless to say, I did not call, as I didn't make an appointment with them.  They did not show up on the day mentioned in the message, either..... I assume it's a new way to try to sell their product by making you call them :P

I just received two calls from that number; the first hung up after ringing twice, and the second time a young definitely Caucasian American with no accent asked for "Barbara." When I told her no such person existed (not here, that is) she said, "OK, thanks anyway."

I just received a call from 1-800-244-1111 at 11:35 P.M.!  They said my card had some possible fraudulent charges on it.  They refused to tell me what card.  The operator just kept naming charges and places off.  She would interrupt me.  Who calls at 11:30 P.M.?

I was without phone service since 5/22/2011 until 7/22/2011 because of a tornado that impacted my home/community. My June statement shows that I made (4) calls to 411-directory assistance at $1.99 per call for a total of $7.96. Needless to say I paid the bill so that it did not reflect negatively on my credit. However, I contacted Qwest Customer Service and the service that I received was the worst that I had ever received. The representative told me that I should have called the same day to restore service, even though I was displaced from my home, and that it was somehow my fault that I was charged. This was really upsetting to me and I cancelled service yesterday 7/25/2011 once the credit finally posted for the $7.96. I have never received great customer service with Qwest and decided that I should not give my money to a company that doesn't appreciate their customers. So long Qwest!

This number is for QWEST Communications.

I don't have Qwest and now never will!!!!! It prints up as Peoria City Gov....did not leave a message, but I have several relatives in Peoria and thought possibly the call was related...my brother is a bit of a lead foot...so maybe he needed help...well it was Qwest expecting me to pay the bill of my ex-husband (of 10 yrs)step- sons phone bill!!!!!!!!!!! Son of his current fling...not even his and certainly not my relative.

Charges in the amount of $75.00 were made to my Amex card in early January, and through my Quickenonline account I noticed that this unbknown charge is scheduled to be made again to my Amex card on April 27.  I called this number and heard a recorded voice that said, "Exciting people are waiting to talk to you.  Please call 1-800-313-2300."  

Since I have no knowledge of these charges, and suspect that they are fraudulent, I did not call 1-800-313-2300.  Instead, I called Amex and reported these charges as fraudulent.  They are reversing the charge made in January, issuing me a new Amex card and blocking any future attempts by this company to charge my new Amex card.

I I was charged for calls on Jan 1 at 1:45 am 1:44 and 1:43 am.

I got was charged for calls on New years day at 1:45 am and1:44  am and 1:43 am believe me when I say I was sound asleep.

Its probably just easier to go to a payphone and dial from there. That is what I had to do after my phone was shut off for paying my bill late. :-p

We have phone service through you and for some reason our phones are no longer working, when they were working earlier today. who do I contact through email since theres no phone line working?
